The reason why I feel the way I feel because I was a recent applicant and a question was asked towards me for something that happened 4 years ago I didn't get in trouble I got picked up for something that for a fight that happened in my building where I lived at you know I ended up getting it then cleared off of the first court case I had nothing to do with the whole thing all together but due to the fact the owner of the house they didn't get down there to the courts so after we had already been to rain I should have never been in there from the beginning the next time when I went to court the owner of the court I mean owner of the house was there with me on my behalf at the court telling him I had nothing to do with it they cleared everything and I was back to work within two weeks I got clearance real quickly that was 4 years ago so to sit here when the whole something against somebody doesn't make any sense at all when I'm currently working right now now this is the first time I've ever had an interpretation brought to me like this nobody is held nothing against me now I didn't even have to even say anything to you I could have just went on with it because regardless of the fact that when they came up as anything I'm working as we speak you know and I don't understand how you sit there and think I'm a detriment to anybody and nobody's ever thought that to me but like I said y'all make your own management decisions that I feel was wasted you know really to be honest with you so you know if that's how you're conduct business and you know it is what it is right there you know that would be your loss right there but y'all handle that so immaturely right there if it was a supervisor somebody you should have been able to speak to somebody personally right there you know all this email and everybody and then you can't speak to nobody and get no understanding is real childish also right there so that being said you know everybody hives behind emails and all y'all made the initial call and you call me and what not walking the supervisor come and talk to me and let me even explain because this is the first time that's ever happened no other agency that I have ever went and put in for right here it's been like that and trust me I am registered under exclusive agencies right there so this doesn't make any sense right here like I said it is what it is

We do serve families in Queens but not for physical therapy

Do health aids keep their whole salary or do they pay a portion to Lean On We?

They keep their whole salary. Lean On We charges a low flat daily rate fee on top of the agreed upon hourly rate with the caregiver. It's an excellent model for all.

Do you have Italian speaking caregivers?

Thank you for asking and yes, we have caregivers who speak more than two dozens languages, including Italian. We'd be happy to help you.

With that being said: my experience with VNS was absolutely discouraging for our health care system/provider. My father came home for (home hospice) on a Thursday afternoon. The assessment nurse was kind: however I say this respectfully..I couldn't understand what she was saying because she had a heavy accent. She went over his medication and assessed his body, took pictures of wounds etc. she did not do vitals or anything. (I don't know if that was a requirement) We were not provided with any medicine or supplies. Not even a little starter kit until something came in the mail. Friday My dad was having labored breathing. I called the 212-609-1920 and they advised me to give him some morphine. Ummmm with what you guys don't give us anything. NO INSTRUCTIONS. NOTHING. I had to call 911 - he was unresponsive. He was rushed to the hospital on Friday afternoon and passed away early Saturday morning. My recommendation: DON' T USE THIS SERVICE!!!!! I am going all the way to the top with this complaint. I won't rest until I get proper ethical change with the company. It won't be about money. This is about PRINCIPLE.

She wouldn't give me her name, she didnt have any sort of professionalism and left me at a loss on how to initiate the conversation that involves me handing them my hard earned dollars. when i asked her what steps i could take to move forward with evergreen choice after an incredibly unfriendly silence she literally said "if you're looking for a job you can go to our website" talking to that woman was like the textbook example of how not to make a sale. When the owner, Ann, called she was just as unfriendly as the nameless entity that represents her business. Ann told me, quite rudely, after i laid out that i wanted someone to come to my grandmothers home 3 days a week for 4 hours a day, That the time i needed someone to watch my grandmother was not worth it to the caretakers and if i couldnt bump the time up to at least 6 hours a day no one would take the job and it would be a 'revolving door of caretakers'. I understand what she was saying, but she reduced my elderly grandmother, that i care deeply about, to a job and a job that isnt worth it to the people she chose to surround herself with and represent her brand. I cannot figure out how am i supposed to trust Ann enough to have someone she chose watch my grandmother, largely unsupervised, when she cant even get it together enough to sound slightly kind at all over the phone. Speaking to her offended me, made me feel like i was imposing on her, and also like my grandmother was too burdensome for Ms. Ann without a larger payout. Not feelings that made my heart smile about handing thousands of dollars to her. If Evergreen choice's over the phone service is so unfriendly and brusque i cant imagine their caretakers are much kinder. Not the sort of people i would want looking after my freaking grandmother. Whatever entity on behalf of evergreen choice answered their phone needs to be retrained and Ann needs to take a hard look at her branding strategy. The way to get people to pay you is NOT to tell them that the person they care about isnt worth it or lucrative enough for you. Meanie.
