I reached out to LifeWorx under a time crunch, needing a night nurse for my mum the same night and 24-hour HHA care beginning the following day. I was fortunate to have Pamela assigned as my Candidate Relations Associate. She was so kind on the phone, was very communicative, professional, and successful. She found me a wonderful HHA for nights with my mum and also managed to find three other HHA's for my mum's continuing care, all within a matter of hours. Pamela gave me great peace of mind and support through a very stressful and worrying time and I am so grateful. read more

They've been helpful and patient about finding the right person for me. We all know that it doesn't click with everyone and they're willing to try sending appropriate people. I can't give a five star rating yet: I need to see how my newest aide works out. I'll be back soon. read more

I cannot believe my good fortune in discovering LIFEWORX while walking past their street-level agency in Manhattan. I was looking for a cleaning lady/laundress as well as a house manager for a large property in Westchester. From the very second I spoke to Jennifer, in their Westport CT office, I felt comfortable in the caliber of candidates they would recommend as well as the thorough vetting process that LIFEWORX requires of any potential hire. Jennifer understood exactly what we were looking for (which is not evident with most placement agencies) and before I even finished my phone conversation, she had already sent me several candidates' bios from their large pool of applicants. Within 10 days, I had found the perfect people. LIFEWORX is not only an exceptionally professional and competent agency but the staff I dealt with could not be more patient and eager to find that perfect "needle in a haystack" for our company. I appreciated their willingness to be so diligent and not rush to send me just anyone. And if all that is not convincing enough, LIFEWORX charges far less, and has a much more flexible guarantee, to ensure both client and applicant are thrilled. I cannot recommend them more, they were amazing to work with. read more

I just learned that this company is not having their aids receive the booster shot. They are sending unboostered workers to the homes of fragile elderly clients. read more

Seems like a great company based in reviews, but my personal experience has me questioning their hiring process. So first I called the company to find out, if they hire home attendants that don't have a driver's license and they said yes, but the jobs that would be open to me will be limited, i said ok fine. Then, after completing the application on line they said my application was sent to the requiter and I'll receive a call in the next few days. I gave 3 references, and all 3 of ny reference are families that I have a very close relationship with. They called my references and left voice mails with no information and when I said no information I mean no company name or call back number (one of my reference is a CEO and the other a doctor) and they were both really confused about what sort of company would call and not leave any information on how to get back to them. Then they asked one of my references if I ever stole from them!! Wow, they never interviewed me or ran a background check on me, but they called all my references and asked them really weird questions. Now, when I called to check up On my application and where I was in the process, the requiter says "we cant hire you because you don't have a driver's licenses, then when I told her that I was told that i didn't need one, she then said one of my references had a discrepancies" lol, That's not true as I've said, I'm very close with all the families I've worked with and still keep in contact with them so I know that's not true, this company hiring process needs revision. read more

At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, my 91 year old mother tested positive. She lives alone in an independent living senior facility that was on lock down. I could not get to her. I called LifeWorx in a panic and they had someone in place with her within hours. This woman has saved my mother's life, and has given me the peace of mind that she is not alone. read more

My name is Evelyn Diaz, I have worked for Lifeworx's since 2006. I have had the most incredible families, whom to this day, I'm still in touch with.. The wonderful staff at lifeworx are always there to help us nannies, in anyway they can.. I am truly happy to refer this agency to anyone who is looking for serious professionals who are committed to doing the best job possible. read more

My experience with Lifewox has been great. They've helped me to find an excellent nanny position within 2 weeks of being with them. They were extremely thorough with their selection process. Prior to deciding to an in person interview they did a phone interview and ran a background check which I had no problem with. My recruiter Elisa was professional when we did the in person interview and also open to my questions about job placement. The day after meeting Elisa I got calls from Lifeworx's agents Barbara and Bal about jobs, something I didn't experience with the other agencies I had previously signed up with. By the following week I had great interviews lined up and then an offer. Although the selection process for Lifeworx was in depth it was well worth it. read more

I recently moved into a new apartment and needed a few things taken care of, including cleaning and AC installation. LifeWorx put us in touch with a handyman named Edison who was absolutely phenomenal. He was on time, worked efficiently, and even offered to fix a few other things he noticed were not working in our apartment. Our cleaning lady, Alicia, was just as great. When we moved in, the apartment was an absolute mess and Alicia took the time to scrub down the kitchen and bathrooms until it looked like an entirely new apartment. It was a lot of work and I am so grateful LifeWorx was able to put us in touch with her. Will definitely reach out again with future work! read more

I had a wonderful experience with LifeWorx Agency. Ela, Bal, Barbara are very very professional, kind, nice and amazing persons. In my opinion LifeWorks Agency is the best in NYC, Manhattan. They promised to find for me a good job, what I need exactly and did it!!! I'm very satisfied with my job, location and salary. They had worked with me and the family very close, asked me before I started if I agree with everything. I highly recommend this Agency to everyone who is looking for a nanny job. I recommend them to my friends also. I know they will do the best! read more

Usually I don't write any reviews but this time I will. LifeWorx really works! I was looking for a job and visited many places hoped to find a good position. Finally I found LIFEWORX! Right after interview with Ela I knew I am in good hands and they will take care of me. Ela interviewed me not only to know my tools and experience but to be more familiar with my personality and needs as well as my expectations. Also ,I really liked the way the agency checked my references . Very professional and simple . They helped me not only to find the perfect job but also they shortened to the minimum the entire time needed in order to communicate and figured things out with my new boss. People in the agency are very professional and helpful. I already recommend this agency to couple of my friends because as I mentioned before this place really helps people to find what is best for them. Thank you so much Ela and Barbara! read more

I moved back to New York City 9 or so months ago and knew I needed help. I came back to a big job with lots of travel and lots of hours. I've used different cleaning services before, but they never offered consistency. With all the moving parts on my side, I needed someone to really understand my needs and take care of everything. After some research, I went with LifeWorx. They listened to all of my needs. They presented me with 3 candidates who all seemed capable. One was into organizing, and that put her over the top in my book as I need all the help I can get there. So my part time housekeeper comes on a set couple of days each week. She knows my routine. Together we keep the household running. She takes care of dry cleaning, which is a big time saver. She lets me know when we need more supplies. Having her on a set schedule allows me to have repairs or deliveries that I normally would have had to work from home to accommodate -- which is a big deal with my schedule. She does a great job keeping everything clean. To boot, she's become a bit of a part time nanny to my 2 adorable & very friendly cats. Jeanne has been a pleasure to work with as the GM. She follows up when needed a keeps it all running smooth. If you need someone to help keep your house and a bit of your life in order when you're busy working in overdrive, LifeWorxs is great. read more

After 3 different agencies had failed to find quality companions for my mother I desperately went online for help. After looking at the Lifeworx website I called and the return call was almost immediate. From the first conversation with Jeanne I knew I had found a quality company that understood my mother's needs. The companions have been wonderful - not just with my mother but with communicating with me. Thanks to LifeWorx my mom is safe, and I can go to work feeling secure. It means the world to me. Thank you guys..... Penny read more

I visited LifeWorx last week with my mother. I was looking for some help for my elderly mother as my sisters and I all live out of town. My youngest sister visited and met Bal a few weeks before and said he was wonderful. I have never written a review on Yelp before, but I felt compelled to do so after meeting Bal and his staff. If you're looking for help for an elderly person, you could do no better than LifeWorx. There is a genuine warmth in Bal and a sincere desire to provide the best and most apt services possible. His attitude trickles down; everyone we met was warm, engaging, competent, and obviously devoted to providing excellent care. If you live out of town and need to entrust the care of a parent to a stranger (and how scary is that!), LifeWorx is going to be your lifesaver. One more thing--it is often not an easy task to communicate with an organization in NYC. Lifeworx is different. They respond almost immediately to email and are extremely responsible and diligent in their communication. It is gratifying to know that a business like this exists. read more

Definately not! Expensive. Unresponsive. Impersonal. So sales-y that it's like you're in a used car lot. They don't seem to get that you're not buying a used car, but asking for help in your home with your family. These people are terrible. Your family is too valuable to risk with them. read more

It appears they're a young and not very professional agency. Their criteria isn't very informed or astute in regards to hiring private chefs. I'm not sure what they look for in regards to the necessary skillset needed for a personal chef. Certainly, there are more stayed and informed agencies that handle domestic employees. i will avoid them. read more

Lifeworx is exceptional in their clientele and employees. Excellent in communication and personal interest.

As a registered nurse and a geriatric care manager I am always looking for high quality home health aides to assist my clients. I was very pleased when I located Life Worx. The coordinators are responsive to my needs and those of my clients. More importantly the home care workers are dependable, attentive and caring. I will continue to work with Life Worx as they meet my needs and those of the families I assist. Virginia Belling RNMS read more

I heard about LifeWorx from a friend who had worked with them before and had nothing but great reviews. I was looking for a nanny and willing to wait for the right person. Within a few weeks of working with LifeWorx, we hired a wonderful nanny. I was very impressed with the candidates that LifeWorx sent. I've worked with other agencies in the past and none have sent me qualified nannies like this agency. All candidates were qualified for the job, we just needed to find the right personality for our family. I highly recommend LifeWorx if you need a nanny for your family. read more

I just can say that is the best agency that I have work with. I applied for a job and suddenly I have three agents working for me and find me interviews with great families. They really care and help me find a nanny job that works perfect for me . I have a great resume, with a Bachelor Degree , clean background and excellent references and vast experience, but I didn't know how to approach a family and sale my fish, what I mean how to contact a right family , talk and explain how serious, reliable and responsible I am. The group of professionals from Life Worx did the job for me and in few weeks I got a job with a great family in Manhattan. They also negotiated how much should I get paid and working hours , days off, etc. Mr Bal , Christine, and Jeany I AM REALLY GREATFUL for work with such a great group of professionals. Sorry for not write this review before, you guys deserve much more appreciation. I am very happy with the family that I am working now , they really respect and appreciate my work, thanks to Life Worx my history had a happy end. read more

I am a new client and am so glad that I found LifeWorx. I walked past LifeWorx about a year ago and took a picture of the sign thinking that I would love to engage a service like theirs. When the time came, I called them and they produced right away. They have a very responsive staff and the owner Bal, is very involved. As a working mom with a busy schedule and young children, I have been in search of a housekeeper who will partner with me to keep the house clean and to help me stay on top of things that need to get done. I am now working with a lovely housekeeper and my home has never been cleaner or more organized. I love the assurance of knowing that LifeWorx has done the initial vetting and that they handle all insurance issues. This is so much more comforting than taking a risk and hiring someone on your own. I highly recommend LifeWorx to anyone who is in need of a professional in the home-care business! read more
