I was so confused with all that Home Care and my grandfather was even more confused. Finally I have called Sincere Home Care and they were able to help my grandfather to get great home care. She was very helpful with choosing HHA for my grandfather. He is very happy with his HHA. And I am very thankful that Sincere Home Care helped us a lot!!!

I came here a few weeks ago to sign up for their HHA training program. I made sure and I called -…read moretwice - in advance to double check what the requirements were. 2 recommendation letters, proof of address, social security card, ID. Check. I asked the woman on the phone what time can I come in to fill out an application for the class. "Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm." Great. So I left on a bright sunny Wednesday afternoon and took an hour and half long bus ride to Austin Street in Forest Hills. So when I went there guess what the sour-faced receptionist told me? "We're not doing applications today. Come back tomorrow." Wait a second there... I just traveled an hour and a half to get here AND I was told on the phone not once but TWICE that they were doing applications on that day and at that time. I was clearly told on the phone (by her, no doubt) that it was M-F, 9-5 - I even wrote it down! But once she saw me in person, she changed her tune. "I don't know where you heard that from, but we don't do it on [such and such] days and we stop doing applications at 3 pm." Okay that's all fine and dandy, but seeing as how it was only a few minutes past 3 pm and no one was doing anything and the agency was clearly open, I don't see how hard it could be for her to just let me fill out an application. After much persistence, she finally agreed to look over my materials, but did not hand me an application. She insisted that my two professional reference letters were personal letters (they were not) and as such they needed to be NOTARIZED. What..??!?! Then I asked about the proof of address that I had. I had a stack of credit card bills, paycheck stubs, a New York State ID, and other (not junk) mail that I thought would serve as a proof of address. "We need a utility bill." It would have been nice if I was informed this on the phone. I kindly explained to this woman that I do not have any utility bills in my name because I am not responsible for the utility bills in my household. "Well then who pays it?" My parents. "Well then bring in your parents' utility bills, along with a letter from them stating that you live there. Notarized." At this point, she turns around and walks away. It was quite clear from the start that even if everything was "NOTARIZED" this woman was going to give me a hard time and I probably wouldn't have been allowed in the class either. Her loss. I ended up getting a job as a NURSE (I have a BSN that has been collecting dust for some time and only planned on becoming an HHA out of desperation) with another agency shortly after. So I guess I didn't need to take Bestcare's crappy HHA course after all. Fate had better things in store. Take it and shove it, Bestcare! If this is how you treat potential employees, then I'd hate to find out how your patients are cared for.

She is caring, she conversates with her ,cleans, baths her, answers her phone, washes her clothes and much more. She has become part of the family as far as my grandma is concerned. We have never had an issue with this company. Some people are so picky they will complain about any little thing it is sickening. The staff do as much and as best as possible. People can be hard to deal when they become seniors or are sick and just don't want to be bothered anyway ,so they are grumpy and never happy. So give the staff a brake. I'm sure some of these stories are exaggerated cause the people are just mad and miserable themselves that they have to go through this stage in life with the parents.

The third asked me to give her money for her travel expenses on the first day she worked!!! The coordinator lied both to me, and about me as she did about her staff as well. Horrible experience for me and my family. The aide I had got COVID and was out for two weeks and they never sent someone else and when called to task fabricated a story that I asked to suspend my services! What??? Bottom line , stay away.
