So the at home store in Manassas Virginia has a huge sale going on right now because they're going out of business unfortunately. They have cells to up to 80 to 90% off but most of the items were between 40 and 50% off. A lot of the really large house vases were between 25 and $45 which was a great steal because most were originally priced over $100. You should hurry up and try to make it to the store before everything is completely gone! They had tons of gardening some gardening furniture and tons of floor and area rugs! Don't say I didn't warn you to get there soon! Not all of the stores are going out of business Manassas is the only one in the DC Maryland Virginia area. The great thing about the store is even though it's going out of business it is not chaotic the service is still top tier. read more

This location has steadily gone downhill. Every time I go in it seems messier and less organized. It is difficult to see their selection because things are just piled or places in carts in front of the shelves (see pictures). I think part of this has to be a fire hazard since the aisle is completely blocked. Anyway, I went in to look for two trash cans. I found them and was happy they were only $14.99. When we went to the register we were the 6th people in line and only one register open. No other cashier was called and so we waited...after approximately 20 min it was our turn. So I was a bit frustrated already. The trash cans rang up at $17.99. The price was labeled as less so I showed the cashier. We had to wait for a manager to come and approve the price override...not that a key was needed...just to tell the cashier she could put the lower price. We only waited a couple of minutes for the manager to arrive however after waiting for 20 min just to be checked out the extra couple of min was even more frustrating. Then to find out that it wasn't because a key or manager override was needed was even more frustrating. It reminded me as to why I stopped going. read more

First time in the At Home store today! I honestly could stay in this store all day. Prices are reasonable and clearance is spectacular. I could probably find something for everyone in here. I'm very impressed by this store! A friend of mine had told me about it a while ago and I'm so glad I decided to make the 40 min drive to visit :) If you're in the process of re-decorating or if your looking to furnish a new home then this is your place. I like to think of it as the Costco of Home Goods. They have a large selection of everything you would probably find at Ross or TJMax but in larger quantities. The prices seemed reasonable as well. Absolutely horrible! I drove 30 minutes to this location thinking that I would find the rug that I would like to buy (the At Home website mentioned that there were 7 of the rug that I wanted at this location) but I ended up finding NOTHING! The store was disorganized and there was hardly anyone to help you find items that you are looking for. Even when a staff member tried looking for the rug, he said that the store doesn't have a storage area. When I asked for the manager, she said that they actually do have a storage area and went to look for the rug there. When she couldn't find it, she called another At Home location (the one in Chantilly) to see if the rug is available there. The person she spoke to at the Chantilly location said that the rug is not available there even though I remember seeing it the last time I've been there, which was about a week ago. I decided to go to the Chantilly location, and I ended up finding the rug there! When I spoke to the manager at the Chantilly location and telling him everything that happened, he said that "unfortunately" the numbers for the items available that are shown on the website are not updated often or something like that. He even said that he does not know which employee spoke to the manager from the Manassas location, which I think is extremely unprofessional. I told the manager that I will write a bad review, and he didn't care. If I didn't want the rug so badly, I would have left the Chantilly store immediately. I am disappointed because I love At Home and its where I make a lot of my home decor and furniture purchases. read more

Fake promises about product ls and delivery. Even worse customer service. Ordered and paid for same day delivery. No updates hours later and near closing. Called store to select to speak to customer service . Always sent to voicemail over 20 tries but got through once. Person faked answers vague and said was about to he picked up to he delivered. Nothing to past closing time. More unanswered calls and nothing from contact help center request. Total corporate void. Now chained to house not knowing when large furniture delivery will occur. Didn't care for crappy service in person shopping but this is even worse. Don't believe the delivery option. Waste of time and money. read more

I don't get it. I drove all the way out here to check out this mythical "part-TJ MAXX, part-IKEA and all @ Walmart prices." Well, this was NOT that at all. For me, this place is like a nicer Big Lots. I don't especially like Big Lots. So I didn't really like this place. It also a bit like Hobby Lobby, I.e. Trendy wall art & light furniture,minus the stationery & art supplies. Let's start with the good: lots & lots of merchandise. It is grouped by color and also by type. Kinda cool. There is variety so I'll give them that. The bad: the prices suck. Macy's is def cheaper during their sales. Also the quality doesn't match the prices. Lots of items felt flimsy like discount mart quality. Parking lot was gigantic. It's in the mall so that's nice & convenient. If you come during a rush, you'll probably be in line for a long time cause they only have a few check stands & minimal service staff. Maybe if I lived nearby, I'd rate this higher & be inclined to stop by. But for me, you can snag better deals & merchandise @ TJ MAXX, Marshalls, Stein Mart etc... read more

I went in the store yesterday with my boyfriend and his friends to look around. It was his friends first time being there and the store was an absolute disaster. Some of the aisles looked like a kid had just knocked everything off the shelves. There were baskets, pillows, and outdoor cushions all over the middle of the aisles. Definitely a fire hazard! There were also boxes of new inventory stacked high throughout the store. We walked through the kitchen section and that look even worse! There were things thrown around everywhere and very very unorganized. I used to enjoy going to At Home but not anymore. This also isn't the first time I have seen it look like that. I'm soooo glad they have this store here! I had just recently moved here but before we came here in June I had stopped to visit my family in Texas. This is where my mom introduced me to this store and I fell in love w all of the selections and affordable prices. I was so excited to find out they had a location out here. I was in dire need of cushions for my patio and was able to get a complete set w the umbrella for 135. This normally would have been the cost of just a umbrella itself. I recommend this place if you are into decorating your home without the hassle of going to several stores to do so. read more
