"The Good" - JP (Retail Sales Consultant) took care of my coworker and the man knew his stuff. Very professional, multitasking without making his customer feel like he was abandoning them to deal with someone else and at the same time making everyone know that you would be taken care of. Honestly, the best customer service I have seen in VA in a very long time. When you end a transaction with a handshake you know the man takes pride in his work. - The rest of the staff were also fantastic. They worked as a team. When one of the girls went in the back to get something JP asked her to bring back the phone my coworker was buying. She listened in stride and I swear I never saw her come back out but a few seconds later the phone was on the counter and she was back with her customer at the front of the store. - They have a decent selection of the latest and greatest phones and basic accessories. - I was also impressed when JP said that they would install the screen guard for no charge when my coworker complained that every time they tried there were bubbles. Little things like that will make people come back to the store no matter what they are selling. - The patience of the staff when dealing with difficult customers. Kinda similar to the goofball that was in the store, on the phone with customer service talking above the normal range so he could be heard asking "How do I cancel my account?? What is the charge to cancel my account today??" They waited until his name was called in order and dealt with him the best they could. - All in all it was a great experience and they were bumped up from four to five stars after I reread this for the customer service alone... "The Meh" - There is no real long term need for me to regularly visit an AT&T store, unless I wanted to run a "How To" on how to treat people. I may come once a month to pay my bill just so I can people watch for a few minutes though. "The Bad" - When you walk into the place there really is a sign in sheet, but a person letting you know that you can sign in or use the computer terminal would be better.

He has really been good to help my friends, family & our former business by determining the best plan for their needs. I had been holding onto a grandfathered plan for many years & thought it could get no better. He found a plan for Seniors who purchased phones on their own that was better, even including cellular for my iPad & Apple Watch. Recently I bought a new iPad on line through the Apple Store. I knew how to set it up. The only task I had never performed was removing the SIM Card from my old iPad & inserting it into the new. Since the SIM Card lays, rather than snaps into the tray, it was hard to keep it in the tray & get it to snap in. I got in my car & immediately went to this Verizon Store. One of the employees immediately snapped it in for me. They are really nice and helpful. The store is a standalone across Independence Boulevard from Haygood Shopping Center. There is ample parking & a curb cut on Independence so you can turn in coming from the north. No U turn required. The store is spacious, clean and is adequately staffed. I highly recommend it. But if one can determine what store Jeff now works at Remember......He's the best!!!

Now while Dago royally TRUMPS any other reviewers with his impressive 44 "Check-in's" at this particular store (Wow, Dago! You must be the Ultimate Gamemaster)...I will at least provide one more perspective, since he was the only person as of yet to review this GameStop. The store setup is fun, friendly, and easy to navigate through. The staff is extremely helpful...and so they should be when you're plopping down on average 20 plus dollars per new game purchased (that's on the low end of new games). They have a large selection of used games for all you bargain hunters like me out there, and I even found a really fun soccer game for the boys PS3 for 1.99 while I was there! My boys were VERY thankful later for my good find! Now they do also buy your already used games if you want to get store credit/gift card for the store itself....BUT I was surprised with the small amount they are willing to pay for them (I'm new to this whole gaming thing, so it could have been the particular items I was trading in...and if they already have a number of them, I guess mine is just one amongst many...so I am stating this for the record so that you all can figure that into the equation). I guess I had too high of hopes for the actual items I was trading in since their new price was at a much higher price, and thought I would get at least 1/3 of that amount back in credit....but that was not what ended up happening for most of them sadly :( Don't come in with high hopes on the whole trade-in thing and you will be pleasantly surprised I am guessing! Or maybe unlike me, be a wiser shopper, and buy games that you already know will have a higher trade-in value!
