First off, I've never had such problems until my last visit which is unfortunate. I went in today to upgrade my phone. As I was sitting there the representative switched service from my old phone to the new one without verifying my account or charging me the fee. Bc she did this the fraud department couldn't verify my account bc she switched the service and I couldn't answer my phone! Then they had to switch back my service before telling I need to go to corporate! No "sorry for your inconvenience" or "we made a mistake." I came in this store hot, stressed, and ready to lose it.... A home rep sold me on at t mobile then dropped the ball... I came in with a list of questions and honestly, my anxiety was through the roof. But then I walked into this store, friendly chill calm and mine AT&T. Adriana was literally like a therapist. She was so kind and knew her stuff. She answered all of my questions. Even the ones I asked multiple times and reiterated what I should do in a way that really eased my anxiety. I am telling you if it wasn't for the store and this wonderful customer sales representative, I would have tried to cancel. My husband's new phone was stolen and we came here to ask about our options for replacement. We were told they could not just sell us a phone, but we would have to add another line and put it on a payment plan. That sounded suspect, but we needed the phone replaced and were in a hurry. She said it would be $25 per month for the line for six months at which point we could pay off the phone and cancel the line. A few days after leaving the store I noticed she added device insurance, up next, and the most expensive plan all without telling me. This place is dishonest and the staff will add extras to earn commissions. Insist on reviewing your order before you leave as she didn't even show me the changes that were made. Dishonest. I came in here cause my phone was stolen and I had to get a new phone which was fine. I declined the extra warranty plan but they still added it to my account anyways and you don't realize until a couple months when they bills roll in, that it's more than what they said and you see they snuck on the warranty without permission. I have been so busy but the experience I had at this store was so amazing that I had to share. About 3 weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment at 11:30 AM at the AT&T in Roscoe Blvd, I arrived at 11:00 AM and I noticed a long line had formed, it appeared that the store had not opened. The manager was there but did not have the consideration of letting people know of any delays (I would have at least put up a note at the door). At 11:30 I asked the security guard as he was exiting the store, if they were going to be opening. He stated he it will be around 12:30 PM before but did not give an explanation. I suggested putting a note so people aren't waiting around wondering. He said, he does not work at the store and that's the managers responsibility. I decided to head to the AT&T at Saticoy St. and right as I enter the store I am greeted by Eddie welcoming me. Eddie was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I ordered 3 phones and added a new line to my account. Although, this store is further from my house, I'm making this my preferred store. I highly recommend this store!!!! read more

I went in to get my iPhone activated today, and the employee who helped me charged me $20 CASH to transfer my old information onto the new phone. I asked for a receipt, and he would not give me one. I insisted, and he gave me a receipt for a $19 piece of hardware that I didn't buy. I asked what the deal was with the bogus receipt, and he insisted that this is a $20 Service Fee that all AT&T retailers charge. When I got home I called just ONE other location, and guess what? The manager eddie is rude and unwelcoming, and it seems he is hazing has his new trainee with servitud by having him greet me and inquire about my issue when he (eddie) wasnt busy to begin with. He didnt make any communication with me until it came time to suggest i upgrade to a new phone which meant more debt $$$ and or a larger balance. they act like a high school click who cares more about hanging out with each other than helping customers. when you walk in it seems as though you are inconveniencing them by making the store more busy than it was before you came in. It was dead and it filled up with customers seconds after i arrived. I needed a few minutes to think about my options but when i returned for help i was completely ignored or rudely turned away because everyone was busy. Absolutely the worst AT&T store i have ever been to. The first time i was there, they made me wait half an hour and then took somebody else before me as soon as they walked in. The second time i was there the girl was trying to watch a video on her cellphone while trying to type in my name into att system to pull up my info, after typing it wrong the forth time i offered her to watch her video while i type. Save yourself time me and frustration, find a store with better costumer service or with employees that at least can put their personal entertainment aside while with a costumer. read more

Not the best location to handle your AT&T needs. The reps are rude and they look like they hate their job. Service is very slow and the attitude you get from the employees is unacceptable. I have no problem with AT&T, but this location needs to get new representatives to handle their customers. Poor customer service. Bought a screen protector for a phone just last week and went back to replace it after having cracked within just a few days. The representative said that she could not help me and that I would have to go deal with the manufacturer, even in the 30 day return period. Let me start off by saying RUN! As Eddie the worst customer service rep said: "This is a retail store". Went to an ATT corporate store on Sepulveda and they took care of me painlessly. My upgrade to a Note 20 Ultra started really well when I dealt with the girl that works there. She gave me great customer service and when not sure of something she called someone who was. I was to bring back my note 8 after I downloaded all my pics and files but when I came back to turn my phone in for the trade in promo to get $1,000 in credits Eddie said I was past the 14 days I had to turn the phone in. I was pretty sure it was 30 days but not 100% so I called ATT the next day and guess what? They confirmed it was 30 days. The 14 days is the amount of time you have to return the new phone if you didn't like it or just don't want it. ATT made notes in the system so when I went back to the store they would take my phone without issues. They also said if they didn't want to take it to have them call the loyalty department. Guess what?! Wonderful Eddie did not want to take my phone again. On top of everything when I told him to call the loyalty department he replied: " I don't have to call anyone". As far as I know it is 14 days to turn your phone in. This is the kind of customer service you will get from Eddie. Even after loking at the notes under my account he still didn't want to take it. This is the worst upgrade experience I've ever had. I will never go to this store again. Go to a corporate store and save yourself the headache. No wonder this store has terrible reviews both on yelp and ATT website. read more

I had the worst experience coming to this AT&T store with my 2 year old baby. We showed up right at opening and there was only one employee who was very rude and did not acknowledging us for close to 45 minutes. We told her we were there for an upgrade and we didn't have much time, and she stated it would only be five more minutes, but proceeds to take an additional 25. We waited for over an hour with no help and nothing done. There is definitely a customer service problem here. She was diligently working on opening a SIM card slot in an iPhone 4 for an hour and she could have warned us that it would take so long considering we told her we had to pick up a child from school. This place was a waste of time. Came in one night to transfer the info from one phone to another thinking we'd have the same great and fast service as we did previously at the store in Oxnard. Nope. There were two employees working and one person in the store and the manager ended up helping us out. He was nice enough but was sick and you could tell he didn't want to be there. He had us download a transfer app to switch things over and once the app was downloaded, we had to wait 20 minutes to transfer it. He reassured that everything will transfer over. After waiting the 20 mins and watching the two employees flirt with each other, only some info transferred over - not all of it. The guy says, oh it won't transfer everything since your iCloud is full. Would have been nice to know before wasting our time, we could have hand entered in the phone numbers and would have had time to spare. I just went home and did it myself in minutes and yes it actually transferred everything over which was exactly what the other store did for us previously. read more

Enrique needs to be re-evaluated on his customer service "skills". He refused to answer a simple question because my brother was not an authorized user according to them, which he was. We have been with AT&T for 25 years, and by far, this was the worst experience ever. I don't know if it is because they are an authorized retailer, but AT&T corporate needs to know that customers are being turned away without even getting basic questions answered. Eddie the manager assisted him after our second visit within 10 minutes because they needed the account holder present, only to explain that if we called customer service, we could have gotten our questions answered, but if we come in person, an ID is required. Went to upgrade my phone, first off no actual product in there to look at, which is probably a good thing as customers and staff are not wearing masks, and no social distancing, randos standing less then 2 feet away from one another for 20-30 mins to sign up for service. Bad sign. We settle in the corner away from the germs and patiently wait. When our turn comes up we wade through all the phone nonsense "service" and of course pay, only to be told that the phone we came to get is no longer available, and it could be a few days or a week before the phone arrives.
