I have brought it back to Kimi twice - the first time he fiddled with the settings, restarted it - I was hopeful, but the problem persisted. The second time, he replaced the glass again (free of charge) and now the problem is even worse - the screen has several air bubbles and is frequently unresponsive & still turns off randomly, usually when I am working with a client and need to show images. It is also a lot darker than it should be (even at the highest brightness setting). JUST BE AWARE: that it might ruin your ipad/iphone irreperably. At your own risk.

They told me it would be $180, which was lower than my quote from Apple. I told them to go for it. Keep in mind, this was a perfectly functioning phone when I turned it in. 20 minutes goes by, and the phone is all set. I immediately noticed the screen color was off. they had replaced it with an LED screen instead of the OLED factory style. it would have been nice if they had told me it would be significantly lower resolution and quality. Bummer, but not the end of the world right? Then I went to use the camera to take a picture of something, and it was completely fogged up. somehow there was water inside the lens of the camera. I brought it back, and they insisted that it wasn't their fault. Eventually, one of the techs popped the camera lens off and wiped off the condensation. after he put it back together, the camera went completely haywire. Now it can't focus at all and makes a weird buzzing sound every time I try to open the camera. This shop ruined what was a working phone and now I have to replace the entire device. When I requested a refund, the owner was rude and argumentative. He said he could give me a partial refund if I was willing to let him remove the new screen they had installed, and put my old cracked one on. At this point I was fed up, and told him he could. They removed the new screen and put my old cracked one on, which is now even more cracked from when they had removed it. they did a terrible job with the reinstallation, and the screen does not sit flush on the phone. The employees were more focused on pushing sales and their agenda rather than listening to my needs. I do not usually leave negative reviews, but I want others to be warned. For Apple products, I strongly recommend going directly to Apple, where they can still work with carriers like Verizon without the aggressive upselling, tricks and pressure. I had to work with Verizon Corporate office for an hour just to fix the too many to express mistakes made by this "Authorized retailer". Avoid this location at all cost. Stick to Verizon Stores ONLY. The amount of broken promises to "Fix" mistakes made by them, as well as the fake promises to call you on a follow-up are bogus. I was told to my face by the representative that he would follow-up with a phone call the next morning with me, and he never called. This call was for him to correct his mistake on the wrong watch he ordered. He even showed me the phone alert he entered into his personal phone to remind him to follow-up with me. Not to mention I called several times about the delivery of the original wrong watched he ordered and was told it was in and when I got there, it clearly was the wrong watch (aluminum vs what I ordered, Titanium). Lesson learned. AVOID THIS FAKE VERIZON retailer LIKE YOU WOULD A PLAGUE! It's just not worth the headache of having to eventually work with Verizon directly to undo all the mistakes.
