    I got majorly scammed yesterday at this store yesterday when I went in to buy a new iPhone after my…read moreiPhone 14 broke from water damage. The first bizarre thing was the sales person, Tenaye, actively discouraged me from claiming the upgrade for the 16 that I was eligible for, and instead kept pressing me to file an insurance claim for a replacement 14 model. I had to ask multiple times to claim my upgrade, but she kept advising against it because it would incur fees. The fees she was describing was the balance on the current phone that I would need to pay regardless.... It was unnecessarily confusing and took way longer than it should have. After all this, after confirming my upgrade, she tells me In order to claim the upgrade I would need to do this BYOD (bring your own device) promotional deal that would decrease the added fees for the upgrade. She explained that Id need to add a second line to my account but at no cost and they would have to assign a "ghost number" or an inactive phone number to my broken iPhone 14 and that way I could transfer my phone number to the new iPhone 16, keep the old phone, and save money. It didn't really make sense to me, but I was impatient at this point and just wanted to get the thing done so I agreed. After all this, I was not able to transfer my phone line to the new phone because the Verizon support representative (after 2 hours of support) confirmed I had a "pending order" that was blocking them from being able to activate the new device. Basically this newly added line to my account from this "promo deal" that I was told wouldn't cause me any issues in fact cause me major issues because multiple customer support reps (even higher level supervisors) weren't able to fix the problem and finally assigned me a ticket number for a tech support person who will call me "in the next few days" to "hopefully" resolve the issue. My new device has no service connection and this has been by far the most frustrating and unbelievable experiences I've had with a company overall. I don't know if the issue is with Verizon itself or whether this sales person just didnt know what she was doing. Either way, I recommend passing on this particular store and maybe switching network carriers altogether.

    I highly recommend that you avoid this Verizon store if Sandy is the only person working. She has…read moreno idea what she is doing, not to mention she is very hard to hear. It seemed like she was whispering which made her very difficult to understand. My wife and I went to the store at 9:05AM EST as the hours of operation are listed as 9AM - 7PM, but there store was still not open when we arrived. On the door, there is a QR code that you can scan in order to get the hours of operation. After scanning the code, thinking maybe the website, and Google, had not been updated with the new hours, it stated that the store hours were 9:00AM - 7:00PM EST, so I called the phone number listed. No on answered and the message stated that they were helping other customers, which could not have been the case. We decided to grab some coffee and wait. Around 9:30AM Sandy arrived, so I asked her what time the store opens and after asking her to please repeat herself multiple times, she was whispering so low that I heard no sound, she stated that they open at 10:00AM and close at 6:00PM. She had us wait about 10 more minutes, and then she let us in. I must say, if the store really opens at 10:00AM, she did end up helping us about 25 minutes before the store opened, and I thanked her for that. When we could hear her, she was very kind, however, it was pretty clear she was not sure what she was doing. She could not fully explain any of the "Deals", nor could she clearly answer any of our questions. A couple of times, she actually said things that I was sure were wrong, so I stated what I thought was correct and she said "Oh yeah, that is right", though barely audible. We ended up getting my wife a new iPhone 16 Pro, in the color she wanted, and Sandy proceeded to "help" my wife set up the new phone. I checked my wife's old phone to assure that it was backed up and Sandy set up the new phone. Unfortunately, however, many apps and non of her messages transferred over, despite assuring those were backed up to the iCloud on her old phone. We bought a new glass screen protector for my wife's new phone, as well as for my phone (iPhone 15) and had Sandy put them on for us. We also purchased a case for my wife's new phone. The screen protector and the case were properly installed to my wife's new phone, for which we are grateful and thanked her. While installing the glass screen protector on my phone, I saw Sandy struggle and was a bit concerned, however, I said nothing as I assumed she was the expert and would make sure it was properly installed. By the time I got home, however, I realized that the screen protector on my phone was definitely not installed properly and, in fact, had a huge bubble coming up from the bottom of the phone. Ultimately, I am pretty sure the screen protector on my phone is never going to be right and I will need to purchase a new one. All in all, we are very disappointed with the service and will never be returning to that store, other than to see if they will put a new protector on my phone free of charge. We shall see. I hope you find this helpful, and highly recommend you use a different store if you have the choice. Follow up - Went back to the store and Victor was able to remove the bubbled screen protector, which was for a different phone, and replace it with the proper one.

I…read morebrought it to the store to return it, but was asked if I purchased a warranty (which I was never originally told about). When I said no, they said they do not accept returns as they only a reseller of these items and was told to contact the manufacturer. What reseller does not accept returns for something that lasted two months???? Do you not take repsonsibility for what you sell??? They said my only option was to purchase another one and this time purchase the warranty, which I thought was totally ridiculous. Knowing I was not going to get anywhere with them, I said my peace and walked out. I have purchased several phones and accessories with them, but this is the last time. I will be finding a new store to go to in the future! BUYER BEWARE (caveat emptor)!!!!
