The first time I went (about two months ago), the clerk was very knowledgeable, gave me specific details about the various choices of batteries I was looking at, etc. My second time going was yesterday, I walked in and was greeted by a young woman, no older than 19. I told her what I needed-she looked at me with a blank stare, then said "I don't know what those are. You can look over here and tell me if you see what you are describing"....ok, that's kind of your job , though. Just completely clueless. I was actually showing her what I was looking for and the differences between what I needed and all the others. It's very poor customer service when the customer has to literally explain the products in the store to the staff. The prices are fair, and they have a nice selection of pipes as well as vaping stuff. But if you're going to hire a young pretty girl as one of your your sales staff because you think it'll bring in business-at least train her in your products!!!

No business that sells anything expired whether it's food or anything inhaled or consumed should he open and I'm pretty sure this violates regulation in many ways.

**This review is for the newest Vape HQ location in Cliffside Park, NJ (602 Anderson Ave, Cliffside…read morePark 07010)** I was in NJ visiting a friend and wanted to grab a couple of new flavors for me and my husband in Raleigh, North Carolina. We have many chain vape shops so I had a general idea of what to expect. Most stores have a similar vibe: friendly, courteous staff willing to show off the newest trendy flavors, but with a slight sleazy vibe. Vape HQ didn't have that vibe. The staff was professional, wearing branded gear, extremely knowledgeable, and after an hour of trying around 15-20 flavors, I bought five bottles. The candid explanations of various brand e-liquid differences was helpful, and as a previous cigarette smoker this information guides me with staying away from tobacco. The staff was so approachable and friendly that even my friend purchased her first vape kit. I am now back in NC and wish to order from them, but their website seems to be temporarily down. But as a web designer I know the issues with getting sites up and running, and this does not contribute to my rating. Great staff, clean store, and first time I've ever seen a Voop in the bathroom! Good luck, guys!

I've been to this location twice. The first time in January, I had a great experience with a guy,…read moredon't remember his name unfortunately. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase. He answered every question I had about CBD without any hesitation and with so much confidence. The CBD oil I bought has given me good results. I went back this past weekend to get a refill and possibly increase the dosage of the CBD oil and this time it was a female employee. Smh, she knew nothing. I asked her for her recommendations and she basically read off the bottles to compare and didn't tell me anything that wasn't already on them. She literally told me one bottle had avocado oil and the other didn't(which I read myself) but couldn't tell me how that makes a difference. She couldn't explain why 750ml was more effective and expensive. And the difference between CBD and CBG. I ended up just getting the same bottle I had before. I don't understand why she works there and has no knowledge about the products. Since then I have made it my business to research and learn more but it would of been convenient and appreciated had she known.

I've never been spoken to like that in my life, especially by someone representing a business. The situation only escalated when Gabby went out of her way to call me back later from her personal phone -- clearly not the store line -- and threatened to have her "boys" come after me, my husband, and even my 9-year-old son. Threatening a child is beyond inexcusable. I don't know if she was just trying to intimidate me or if I should genuinely be fearful for my family's safety, but either way it's completely unacceptable. On top of that, I've personally witnessed questionable activity at this shop, which makes her behavior even more concerning. Customers should feel safe and respected when they interact with a business, and this was the exact opposite. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
