Traded in my phone and got a screen protector with life time warranty for new phone. Now my bill does not reflect the trade in and they wont honor the screen protector warranty. The phone service is not great either. When they fix the billing issue its through a credit which is brilliant because it ensures I won't change providers until the credit is exhausted. Upgraded my phone here recently. Was not told I would be enrolled in a monthly plan for upgrading the phone. $10 a month. Even though my phone was paid off and ready for an upgrade. To not be upfront with customers is literally bad faith business and overall something reserved for scam artists, not a brick and mortar establishment. This is by far the best AT&T store we have been in. We went in to get a phone activated and added to our account. We were in for a surprise! We had THE BEST customer service EVER!!! Paris and Ire were working in the store and they both are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Their customer service is top notch. They acknowledged us when we walked in the door, were upbeat, very informational and definitely know their products and plans. Customer service definitely played a roll in this review. We have not seen customer service like this in FOREVER! We were treated with respect and it was never a dull moment while we were there. We ended up purchasing accessories for our new phone, which we did not intend to do but the customer service had us sold! I went to get a new iPhone and restart a contract with AT&T. This store has a particular female employee by the name of Christina. I only asked her name after learning how majorly INCOMPETENT she was. To start off, when I first came in a young African American guy started to help me but quickly had Jasmine C. take over which was fine with me. Throughout the process of choosing my phone and talking about wanting the same plan as before with the same price I was paying before I noticed Jasmine C. never smiling. In fact occasionally she would slightly roll her eyes at me. I didn't take offense at first because it was late in the day. Almost closing time in fact, and I passed it off as her just being cranky and tired. So I ignored the behavior and just continued to be pleasant. LITTLE DID I KNOW, THATS WHEN I SHOULD HAVE JUST WALKED OUT. SERIOUSLY. What happened next would completely blow my mind. After discussing what I wanted and her saying they could do that contract with me, she put all the information in the tablet that they use to set up phone delivery and new accounts. She then passed the tablet to me asking me to "just sign here" and pointed to an area on the tablet where she wanted me to sign my signature. Now, I'm no idiot and my uncle is an attorney in San Diego and he taught me to never sign anything without reading it first and then he let me know that anywhere you go in the US you have the right to have a copy of anything you put your signature on. So, I tapped on the icon that said "Terms". So that I could read the terms of the contract she was wanting me to sign. Now, it wasn't as if I was going to sit there for hours reading everything with a fine tooth comb. I was just skimming through the pages on the tablet to see what I was signing for. WHICH IS MY RIGHT! Jasmin became short and with an angry irritated facial expression and sarcastic tone stated, "You don't have to read all that. Most of our customers just sign it." I told Christina that I actually have a right to read what I am signing for first. I told her it would just take me a minute or two and that I just wanted to make sure that what we discussed is what is in the contract before I sign a 36 month contract. She continued sarcastically to argue with me and then stated "WELL, WE USUALLY DON'T EVEN ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO HANDLE THE TABLETS." I WAS FLOORED! I TOLD HER "Really? In case you weren't paying attention you were the one that handed the tablet to ME." I looked over to the young African American guy who had seen this whole situation and asked him if there was a manager I could speak to. He then stated "I am the manager." I looked at him and asked him if he understood what I was trying to explain to Jasmine here? And he didn't answer me. He just blankly stared at me like I was speaking a foreign language!!! I then tried to explain to him the simple basics of contract law. Telling him that I had a right to read the terms of what I am signing my name to. And told him that she was being rude and rolling her eyes at me, huffing and sighing at me as if she was perturbed and that she is not understanding at all what I am trying to explain to her in simple words. I asked him if he was going to allow this to continue and with no response he continued to have a blank stare at me. At this point I felt trapped, unheard and somewhat bullied by these two. She continued to argue with me telling me that "people usually don't feel the need to read all that." and then rolled her eyes at me and added another sigh as if she was tired and I was taking up her time. I continued to cry and saw that these were the only two people running this store. I so badly just wanted to order my phone and be done with this place. I asked the African American kid(which is what he looked like. A kid fresh out of high school) if he saw what was going on here and if he understood that their clients have a right to read the terms of their contract and told him that if you don't allow customers to handle the tablets then how do they sign the contracts? He didn't have an answer for me. So, I continued to skim through the terms of the contract trying to read the important parts whilst still being interrupted on and off as I did so with comments from Ms. Jasmine about how she didn't understand why I felt the need to read it. As I continued with tears coming down my face I asked them both their names and found out Gregory was the African American kid. I asked if the owner of the store was there and was told "no" and that he was out of town. I asked Gregory if he would take over assisting me because Christina just wasn't getting it. (I don't think he was either). Gregory closed out the transaction with me and albeit he was not directly rude, sarcastic or rolling his eyes at me, he made no inference to me that he understood the problem at all. . read more

I came to this store to change my plan from pre-paid to postpaid due to a lack of service when traveling to remote areas in the state. After speaking with a rep from the store about the process by phone, I went in to make the change. After going through a full application to change the plan over I was told they didn't have any SIM cards for my phone. To say I was not happy is an understatement. I considered going to the store on Camelback, but was told I would have to restart the application by going to a new store. They said they would have the SIM cards in the following week and would call me when they arrived. They did not call. I followed up to ensure the SIM cards were in and they said they had them. I returned to the store today only to have them tell were sorry your information is no longer in the system. I of course, ask why? Patrick proceeds to tell me after 30 days the information is no longer in the system. I'm yet again not happy that I have to start the application process all over again and have my credit checked AGAIN due their inability to provide accurate information. I express my displeasure about them not calling and Patrick proceeds to say " We told you you had 30 days before the information would expire and we were transferring to a corporate store." I expressed that was not correct and they did not tell me there was an expiration date on the application otherwise I would have come in right away but since they didn't call as promised this fell off my priority list I mean due to COVID controlling our lives and all. At any rate, Patrick proceeds to debate with me saying it was my fault because they told me the date and I didn't come back in to the store like they told me to. I was baffled at the accusations and lack of ownership from this rep to blame me and then tell me it was my fault. At that point I expressed the following point...how dare you blame a customer for your lack of follow through and then get an attitude because I'm not happy about my time being wasted? He continued to argue back with me and at that point I had to take a few deep breaths to clearly express how utterly ridiculous it is to debate this point with me...your job as a customer service is to DE-ESCALATE a situation with a customer not argue with me to prove yourself right. That only makes matters worse and likely makes me more upset about the ongoing lack of communication and follow through. The rep I initially worked with apologized because she was the one that dropped the ball by not calling me back as promised. At this point the guy is across the store still debating with me but I said my final point and ignored him. Buyer be ware when coming to this location.
