I came in to see what options I had available to me for a phone upgrade and I was very impressed by the service I received. Hamilton helped me switch over from Sprint to T-Mobile, trade in my phone and walk out the door with a brand new iPhone 12. The process was not easy (due to circumstances that were out of T-mobiles control) yet Hamilton remained positive, friendly and helpful the entire time. It would have been easy for him to ask me to come back another day or to send me for help elsewhere, but he took the time (even over an hour after this shift was supposed to be over) to make sure I left happy with my new purchase. This store is a joke. I was "given" free trackers for buying phones. They did not turn out to be free. I called customer service who explained all to me. They aren't expensive but that's not the point. So customer service told me I had to return in store. So I went back to the store to return them. I felt attitude immediately off the rep that approached us. She asks why I'm returning and I started to say they arenr free and she speaks over me to say they are. I then told her I don't want them and didn't ask for them and she said I'd have to come back when the person who sold them to me was there. Then couldn't tell me when she would be. Total joke. Very disappointing experience. I went in to purchase a new phone, but since I wasn't listed as the authorized user on the account, I wasn't able to complete the purchase. Instead of offering solutions or alternatives, the employee shut down my questions before I could even finish asking them. I asked if they could at least share the current deals available, and was told they couldn't provide that information because they didn't have access to the account. I left the store, called customer service, and was able to become an authorized user in less than two minutes. If the employee had simply suggested that option, they wouldn't have lost the sale. read more

Beware! I tried their get-a-free-iphone plan and after receiving my first bill, it was alot more than my previous carrier because of their surprise fees and taxes. I asked for a prepaid box so I could return the phone and returned it. Two months later they put their hands in my checking account and pulled over $300 out leaving me in a deficit right after my mom passed away and I was dealing with funeral arrangements. I called the company thinking they'd fix this, but not one customer service representative was sorry or could help. Looking online, I see they've made a practice of this. I used to be a fervent T-Mobile supporter. I must have recommended them 100 times, but that company no longer exists. The change was gradual, but lately, it feels like every decision has been anti-consumer. My biggest problem is the disconnect between the store and corporate levels. The stores are like the Wild West. You may find an upstanding person to help you, but more likely, you will encounter an outlaw who will, at best, misrepresent and, at worst, outright lie to get you to do the thing I assume will get them paid. If the call center had been helpful, that would have been different, but alas, those days are gone, too. If you need to call them because someone lied to you, I will save you some time. They will say, "I'm so sorry you feel misled, but you should have read the contract, so it's on you." While I agree it is on the consumer to read the contract, it feels very disingenuous to call yourself the "un-carrier" or say, "We changed wireless for our customers" while treating people just as bad if not worse than the other guys. First. They kept me on the phone for 2 hours. The rep had NO idea how to find a Pin number. I hung up, called back to another rep. This rep solved the problem in less than ONE minute. When I transferred my service, T mobile LOCKED my phone WITHOUT notice. I had to go to the new carrier for help. T Mobile was way time consuming and couldn't answer a simple question. If you cancel your service with T-Mobile make sure you remove auto pay and paperless bills prior to switching to a new provider. After you switch to a new provider they are absolutely the worse company to deal with. I am unable to get a final bill and was charged for a full month of service. I switched because they wanted to change my phone numbers and charge me an outrageous amount to update our phones. I will never use them again. I was always a huge advocate for T-Mobile until now. I will be disputing any charges to my account because I have no way of verifying accuracy and no one at T-Mobile to help me. I ordered a product (5G home internet) that TMO shipped (according to the email notification) and when I went into track, first you need to sign in to your TMO account, then should be able to track. Well not so. Seems nuts I am even writing this for such a simple task that everyone else under the sun has figured out. I really hope that the 5G service works better that the tracking process. I went on to seek on-line chat help and the first question I got after asking for tracking help was "Are you a current TMO customer?" Really? No idiot I am tracking my Verizon hot spot. I just left T-mobile after waiting patiently for someone to look at my account. 2 people in the store the girl tried to help me right away but couldn't. The guy was with someone but instantly was telling me he couldn't help even though he didn't have all or any of the information. So I waited patiently for help. After 30 minutes the guy came over (clearly not intending to help) and asked what my question was. I told him, I had lost my telephone and wanted open a new account with a new phone using my old number. My phone is currently on a joint account which between me and the account holder had been IM'ng and calling T-mobile all day long to no avail. When I explained again hoping I had his full attention, I mentioned that we did everything we were told to do and he said simply "I can't do it". I said "You didn't even look at my account, ask for my name or telephone number". He said "We can't open a new account with a phone number that we already used." you can only go somewhere else and use your old number. "like Verizon?" I asked. "Yeah somewhere like Verizon or anywhere. I do this all day long, I don't don't need to look, I already know." So last person I was IM'ng with at TMobile apparently didn't need to look either. T-Mobile recently installed a new tower about 1.5 miles away. Coverage map showed me in a 5G coverage area. Never had cell phone service before. Bought a phone and internet modem. Got home 1-2 bars 4G, sometimes. Tried a $1000, 100dB signal booster. It could not find a usable signal to boost. Returned it. Returned he phone and modem. $20 restocking fee. Could only cancel service using that phone. Should have done that first. On hold for an hour in the store. Gave up told the associate I would try again later. Came back. On hold 15 minutes. Manager told associate how to get around that and she got through. I still have to pay the full month, $100, even though I had the phone for only 9 days and would not have gotten it in the first place had they not falsely indicated that I would get 5G service. read more

1 - Star for terrible customer service. I went into this place to learn about their phone deals. In the process, I bought a phone, became a new customer and purchased a couple accessories per the sales reps recommendation. One of them, a screen protector, was marketed as "...will replace if damaged..." seemed like a no-brainer and great deal so I purchased it and the same guy put it on my phone. When I went home, I noticed that there was a bubble underneath the screen protector. I figured that I would take it back and they would fix the problem or just replace the screen protector. Lo and behold, days later, I dropped my phone and the screen protector cracked just a little bit; so I returned to this location only to be told that, because I didn't enroll in their insurance plan, they could not honor the replacement clause. In addition; the rep told me that there must've been lint underneath the screen protector causing it to bubble up, but there was nothing they could do to correct the problem. So I'm leaving a review as a warning to others about this location and their tactics: 1) Make sure that they stipulate that they only replace broken screens IF you also purchase their insurance. Not sure if he intended to misinform me or just forgot to mention that important condition. 2) Make sure that they properly install your relatively over-priced screen protector before you walk out of that door, because getting them to fix it afterwards is like squeezing water of a rock. read more
