I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this Verizon location. The sales representative who helped me upgrade my mom's phone gave me misleading information on multiple occasions. She offered me a watch and specifically told me it was completely free and would not cost me anything. I didn't need a watch, but I accepted it based on what she told me. I later discovered that my bill increased by more than $100 due to charges associated with the watch and its cellular service. She also told me that because of my loyalty to Verizon, I would receive a $250 Verizon gift card. I never received it. I contacted Verizon to try to resolve the situation, but they have refused to make it right. I feel I was misled by the salesperson and ended up paying for something I never would have agreed to if the actual costs had been explained to me. I wish I remembered the salesperson's name. She has enough aggression to be coaching an MMA class instead of selling phones. I walked into the Verizon on 16th Street right at 10:00 AM with my two young sons because my phone was damaged. I was a dream customer, I knew exactly what I wanted and was ready to hand over $1,200 for a new phone. Apparently that wasn't the assignment. Instead of listening to what I was asking for, I got what felt like an infomercial. Apple Watch. Promotions. Different plans. More promotions. More Apple Watch. Meanwhile, I had two little boys slowly turning the store into a daycare. When I politely said I just wanted the phone, the mood shifted faster than Arizona weather. Suddenly I was reminded I didn't have an appointment and she "wasn't prepared." Since when does a Verizon store require a reservation to buy a phone? Is this a steakhouse? I spent seven years in sales, so I completely understand offering promotions and looking for opportunities. But the best salespeople know when to stop talking and start listening. I wasn't there to be convinced to buy something--I was already buying something. I eventually left and drove to the Lincoln location, where they sold me the exact same $1,200 phone in a fraction of the time without making me feel like I was negotiating a hostage release. The first person to help guide me through the process of trading in an old phone for a newer one, was great. Angie was personable, honest, and patient. I wish her all the best. The reason I'm giving 2 stars has nothing to do with her. It's a taller gentleman whose name i couldn't give two shits about. Upon waiting for Angie to finish my transferring service, i inquired about helping me seal up the transaction. What I assume, is that she must have had a scheduled break and wasn't available. So this guy comes back out from the back room and rudely hurried me out the door before i could give them my old phone back Went back a couple days later so drop off my old phone and was greeted by the same guy. He's very cold and rude and quick to get you out the door. While waiting for him to get my receipt, i look around and notice 2 sales people whispering (hands covering mouth) to eachother and staring at me. No other customer service was being conducted on the floor and it felt very uncomfortable. My two cents to the store managers, customers just want your help. We're not an inconvenience to your lunch break. Be real and be personable. If we tell you we don't option a, b, c - just listen to us. I just purchased an iphone, ipad and was completely sold items that I cannot merge to my own devices. Angelina was rude and became very agitated when my husband and I were asking her questions. Basically said to me either you want the items or you don't. She told me that I would be able to sync my device to by mac and even the manager which came over, without any introduction. She asked if she could go and work with someone else. We have been with Verizon, Cellular One, AllTel and have several lines for over 30 years. I am appalled and feel like an absolute fool - She did not explain the transfer, walked away and seemed perturbed that I was asking any question. Unfortunately, this Verizon location was not helpful. I went in to trade in my IPhone 13 and was quickly told I couldn't, so I ended up purchasing a very overpriced I-Phone 14. I ended up having buyers remorse after this purchase so I went to a different Verizon location to return the over priced phone. This is when I found out I could get a trade in! After returning the phone, the team was able to help me get a brand new I-Phone 16 completely covered by our phone plan. They even helped me upgrade my family's plan to save an extra $35/month! Verizon Home Protection Plan via - Asurion. I put a claim in on my IWatch S6. Well, let me tell you. They like to play a game when they dont want to replace an item. NO where in the literature does it say "reimbursement" for an item. It only says, "We have you covered for replacement or repair." They are offering me ~$97.00 for my watch. We have called and they tell us "if we dont have a replacement in stock, an automated email goes out because some people dont want to wait." However, here is the way it really works. If you make a claim and they dont want to replace it, you have to keep responding to a specific email, log in, get a verification code and hope they have a replacement. You will have to keep doing this hoping they "have some in stock." They will try to wear you down so that you take the money. I have been a Verizon and Asurion customer for over 30 years. I have had up to 4 people on my plan, IPADS and now home internet. I retire soon and will dump Verizon all together. read more

My wife and I got duped by 2 sales representatives (One of their names is Joe) on July 21, 2022 in reference to trying the 5G Home Internet for 30 days. The box arrived on July 25, 2022 and we tried it for a week. The service sucked because the signal strength was not good. We reached out to customer service somewhere around August 2nd or 3rd to discuss this issue. The tech initiated support and we were only picking up 17 to 18 mbps. That is no strength at all. So she canceled the service and stated that she was sending out a return label and box via mail. We thank her and ended the call. On August 6, 2022, we received a $80 that was decreased to $59.35 and then decreased to $20.65 (all reflected in the same bill)!!! We were not even close to 30 days AND it was canceled. I called and got bounced around to 5 representatives, although I asked to speak to a supervisor. None of the 4 were able to help with the invalid billing issue. I got hung up on twice and I had to call back. The 5th person stated that he was and to support and that the issue was the system automatically printed out that we owed even though we were within the 30 day trial period. He stated that he saw that service was canceled and he was going to fix the bill right then and there. He stated it was zero balance. He said that he was sending a box and return label and it would take 3 to 5 days to reach me. We thanked him kindly and hung up. Well... today, August 11, 2022, we received a bill The bill states that we owe $20.65 for this month and a unpaid balance of $80 for last month. Really???? Oh and the return box and label gas yet to come. My wife was on Verizon, I was on AT&T, and we wanted to get on a family plan and upgrade to new iPhones. When we visited this location shortly after they opened a security guard out front told us to stand outside and wait for a salesperson to come out to help us. After standing outside for ten minutes someone came out and told us they had an hour and a half long wait before someone could help us, so we went back to the car to regroup. I pulled up the next closest Verizon store over on 44th Street and tried calling them to see if they could help us sooner. When you call the store, it routes to a call center where they told me they had to do the transaction over the phone. When I told them that my wife doesn't know which iPhone she wants yet because she wants to see the sizes in person to compare, the call center rep said they can schedule an appointment at the nearest store. They put me on hold, then came back to say they have me scheduled for the exact same store we just visited and we could walk in right now and give them my name and number and they'd be available. Feeling jerked around, I just called AT&T on Camelback and 20th. Call went right through to the actual store and I talked directly with a rep. He said to come on over and he'd take care of us. We walked in, asked for him by name, she picked out her phone, and he got us all set up in less than an hour. Super friendly, no waiting, and an all around great experience at AT&T. I would not recommend this Verizon store. If you know what you want, maybe their call center could be a good experience for you, but definitely don't try visiting the store. I understand COVID and all, but AT&T is happy to help while Verizon just doesn't seem to have it together. read more

My phone was stolen and when I went into the store to see what I could do a woman named Jackie told me that my only option was to buy a new phone outright as well as pay off the device that was stolen. She didn't speak about what my insurance that I pay for does for me or even try to help me lock the line, she was slow to pull up my account and seemed so disinterested.
