Our sales representative was fast talking, glossed over details and impatient. We were told by her and the regional manager who happened to be in the store at the time, what our monthly rate would be. I told them that I did not like surprises so make sure everything would be as they represented. Obviously, with a one star rating, we didn't get the rate we were promised. After waiting three weeks for a return call from the store manager, I went back to the store and received no satisfaction. I value accuracy, context, and restraint--and I've spent years building trust by not abusing this platform. But what happened at this store wasn't just bad service. It was deliberate obstruction from a company that clearly has no protocol, no accountability, and no interest in making things right. I'm writing this because someone else needs to be warned. I purchased an iPhone 15 Pro from this corporate-owned AT&T store. They handed me the phone. No activation, no walkthrough, no explanation. I left the store under the reasonable assumption that the device had been activated--because it always had been, every other time I've upgraded through AT&T. Shortly after, the phone was stolen. When I tried to file an insurance claim, it was denied. Why? "The phone was never activated." AT&T told me that activation is no longer a responsibility--they do it when they feel like it, as a "courtesy." From there, I was bounced back and forth dozens of times between AT&T and Asurion. Each blamed the other. Each passed me off like it was someone else's problem. Eventually, someone told me the store manager would be calling me within 48 hours, and that if I missed the call, they wouldn't try again. Imagine that: a single call. No voicemail. No follow-up. One shot--and it's gone. Needless to say, no one ever called. I've escalated. I've begged for resolution. And at the end of it all, they told me: "You waited too long." No one told me what to do. No one gave me a timeline. They just ran the clock down and handed me the bill. And this isn't the first time. In 2019, AT&T lost a return device through their own concierge service. I paid for two phones simultaneously for months while they claimed it wasn't their problem--until, eventually, they found it. No apology. No compensation. Just silence. So here I am again. Years later. Same company. Same behavior. This store was the beginning of it. And I want the record to show that I didn't let it slide. If you're thinking about walking into this location--don't. If you're thinking it won't happen to you--think again. If this review comes off strong, it's because they made it this way. This isn't anger. It's documentation. Very poor customer service from the store and the 800 Number. My mother had got another phone because she locked herself out of her old phone. AT&T 1-800 told we her she can go to the store and have her number changed back to her original number. The store wouldn't do it they wanted us to get a new phone and return the phone she had just gotten. I told her that was not what customer service told us to do and that I wanted to speak to the regional manager. The store manager refused to give it out and said "if you are going to continue to ask I'm going to have to ask you to leave"" I then pretend to record her and she got nice. so we called 1-800 AT&T and the way the order was set up my mother now had two accounts open and she was in default on one. I went here Feb 10th on a Friday evening time. I was looking forward to upgrading my phone And service--joining AT&T. I stated what I wanted: a premium phone. I was willing to make a down payment of $300+++. Even $500+ but I didn't start with that for obvious reasons. They didn't have much in stock for good quality plus size phones with good ram. My straight talk service was ending the next day and I was looking forward to transferring my phone number on this day if not a new number I would settle with... And if I decided against what AT&T offered me, I'd just pay for my current service. I just got paid and it was a good time to flip the coin. The man that helped me was very condescending. His name is Luis--which I didn't find out till leaving which I found unprofessional and disrespectful, but hey he didn't respect me from the start so what was I expecting?? He asked me in an unpleasant tone to say the least that I needed 2 forms of ID. When I stated I had a state ID and a PASSPORT he then said, "They have to be valid and not expired"... Obviously... I asked Luis what they had in stock and bounced around with my favorites being Samsungs and Google. They had nothing really in stock and he suggested this Galaxy FE S21. And he even said he'd throw in a watch with a down payment of around $300. I was in. But then all of the sudden the "ipad changed something" and the down payment for the phone became $450++ and the watch a much more expensive down payment. At the time I didn't think much of it, but it was a horrible deal. $450++ down payment getting the rest financed for 36 months when the phone is only $600 out right to buy UNLOCKED. Which just makes me think this salesman was being malicious having me make a near $500 down payment then paying $118 monthly payments... We got into it about that^^ after I decided to make the down payment.... I was holding the phone in my hand, not premium, not good ram or memory.... The phone I came in with was practically the same just bigger screen. Luis even had the audacity to try and sell my my current phone with down payment and financing which just felt like a slap in the face. The icing on the cake was when the manager Daniel got involved trying to coax me to keeping the device or at least buying their service. After I was shocked to see the UNLOCKED cellphone price of only $600 at retail stores online I decided to return the phone and pay the $55 restocking fee. Luis said right Infront of Daniel: "I see you thought you were just going to come in here and buy a phone and then turn around and sell it---" I said, "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME??" And then he said something about just selling my current phone, but that's not what he said... I still can't believe he said that. Infront of Daniel, the other customers... I don't usually post stuff like this but I had to get it out somehow because customer service was no help and all I got on the phone at the store was 1 of the 2 guys that helped me that friday. I had a great experience here, twice. I was recently up for an upgrade to my older model iPhone. Having had a fantastic experience at the Apple store when I got the first one, I did the upgrade there again. At the same time I wanted to change my cell phone number to a local number. While Apple wasn't able to help with that, I did pop by this AT&T store to do it. On the first visit, I was promptly greeted upon walking in the door. I let the guy know I needed a new car charger and wanted to change my number. The car charger was no problem, but there would be a 30-minute wait due to the heavy business in the store. I wasn't in a rush, so that was okay. I came back a couple days later and was helped by someone else, who was just as helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes while he called AT&T support to relocate my account. He helped me choose a new phone number, and the store manager made sure to put all my employer discounts back on my new relocated account. We'll see when the first bill arrives, but hopefully all's well. It was also very cool that the store manager likes to greet every customer who comes in - what a nice business touch. I had a very good experience at this store. The only downside is the extremely tiny parking lot, which is shared with the adjoining Wells Fargo. Very, very tight parking. I recommend this AT&T store, but you might want to go outside banking hours. read more

Ok so I finally amped myself up enough to go into the store about a wifi issue I'm having with my phone. I was ready to go down the list of everything I tried so far, stand my ground, and fight for a warranty replacement if I had to. But I didn't have to. Estevan took such good care of me yesterday, including taking care of the call to corporate to get my warranty replacement, and just BELIEVING me about the problems I'm experiencing and the steps I've taken to mitigate them. He did his due diligence while making me feel comfortable, and I barely had to lift a finger -- except to urgently scribble my new address, which he took in stride on the phone and updated my account on the tablet simultaneously. All the customers looked well taken care of, and Estevan and other team members even got the door for folks on the way out. 10/10 phone store experience, would recommend Estevan and anyone like him to everyone. read more

I am giving this store two stars because I HAD to be there on a bad day when the newest, untrained, young AT&T employees in the United states were running the store. ( Don't take offense when I use the word, young, all these guys just happened to be.) I am giving them a second star because it CAN"T be that bad all the time. I will explain. First of all, I have a cell phone strictly so that a friend can get hold of me in an emergency. The only other time I use it is to let people know when I am going to be late. Otherwise, I wouldn't have one. The idea of someone driving a telephone booth next to me is not appealing, nor does shopping next to someone who is a walking telephone booth. I don't want to know that much about someones personal life when I am shopping for banana's, or a newspaper, thank you. I am waiting for the day when they make a switch and all cell phones turn off around me unless a call is really important=dead battery, sick kids, the cat is throwing up. Call me antisocial. The job of deciding whether to buy drain cleaner in a liquid or a gel is enough of a job for me without any interruptions about the mysterious Aunt Martha and her bunions, I guess. I got my first AT&T phone, free, in a raffle at a community event. It was the most basic and that is fine with me. I can't complain. It did what I want and I have gotten good service from AT&T, nor like the nightmare my friend has had with Verizon. After three years, the phone still works but decided to upgrade. I went into this store prepared to buy a phone. It wouldn't take much more than to put in my hands something basically what I wanted and out comes the Visa. These people did everything they could to not sell me a phone. They pointed where the phones were. I found what I wanted and their weren't any hanging there. I asked a sales person to go check. He went in the back and a few minutes later I saw him leaning on the counter chatting with the other employees. I went over and asked him if they'd had any in the back. He said no. He had misunderstood me and thought I'd just was telling him the slot was empty? I then asked if they were getting any in? He said, "You, mean, you want one?" He asked another employee who said you never know what's coming in. The silence then was poignant. At that point, I left when they didn't offer to call another store. I hate AT&T with a purple passion! What the store employees tell you is different than what you accept the terms and conditions on. Of course, I was naive to not read the small fine print on a tablet and that's my bad, but had I really known what the AT&T Next plan was really about, I would have never signed up for it! Now, I am stuck with a phone that I have to pay for the full retail value on in installments or trade it in after a year to pretty much do the same thing with the next phone. You actually pay more doing this and it's a never ending cycle to keep you as a customer. I've called the call centers and told them how I felt, but they just scoffed and spoke to me in a condescending manner like i'm the dumb one. The next time - I am just going to go to an Apple store or a Best Buy - buy your phone at the discounted price, sign the 2 yr contract and after two years, if you like them or not, you can upgrade or leave to the other cell phone company that appreciates you as a customer! read more

Friendly staff, but they sold me a janky phone and now they're acting like its so impossible to send me a replacement. Their insurance is a scam. i've been without a phone for four days now. No one is getting back to me but they made sure they took the money out my account for my phone bill. The nerve. I've sat on the phone for hours on multiple days getting transferred around to people with poor english, trying to sell me more things instead of resolving my issue and then getting hung up on mid transfers. After speaking with multiple people at at&t and apple, they told me my issue falls under the warranty and they'll replace it. As soon as they say that, they put me on hold or transfer me to finalize it, and i end up having to start completely over with a different representative. I hate it here. I've been with them since they were cingular in 2003 and they're definitely losing a client. But again..the staff in the store are nice. I've been a customer for years with nothing but good comments regarding ATT service for me. I've had the same plan since the beginning. I soon wondered if I could save some more to a newer plan and even better I have an iPhone 12 that can access 5G if available. Before even pulling the trigger I decided to check their coverage map as a marker to see if 5G is even available since I know it's not everywhere just yet. I entered my address and your site stated there's 5G and 4G LTE, awesome. I switched plans on Friday, May 6th and my iPhone still doesn't give an option to switch to 5G. I called in, they escalated me to top tier help and the guy stated "oh your phone is fine it's just that there's no 5G Im your area" and that it wouldn't be available until, hopefully, end of 2021. So I gotta say is your coverage map that you guys proudly advertise in commercials a sham? This is misleading to be honest and I'm just not happy, I am now seeing if switching to Verizon may be beneficial with all 9 of my lines. read more

Do NOT go with AT&T if you don't want to get ripped off, zero help, care, or concern for your experience. I was added to an account as an additional line and the phone I received was a brand new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It did not work at all to connect to the internet, call, text, use gps, etc. The only thing it was good for was taking photos. I had to be connected to wifi for ANY functionally and even then, functionally was hit or miss. I went in person to countless AT&T stores, in different states, different towns, on countless occasions, sometimes alone, sometimes with the account owner, sometimes with my boyfriend. All of them witnessed this unfold. SO many wasted hours re-explaining myself and the issues (because why would they ever put notes in an account?) Sim cards replaced multiple times, HOURS upon HOURS on the phone with their customer service line, an app installed (because according to some of them, 5g isn't real and I needed the app to switch it back to 4g), all the settings reviewed multiple times, a whole lot of "huh" and "doesn't make sense", but ZERO fixes. All while this was still a BRAND NEW phone under 1 year old. I was told by AT&T that I needed to go to a repair shop because they could not help. I went to 2 separate shops- they both said they didn't understand why AT&T wouldn't stand by the phone they sold me, but they also couldn't help me and I needed to go through Samsung because whatever it was was not fixable by them. After I filed the claim with Samsung, Samsung replaced the motherboard (after mailing it in and physically waiting for it to be fixed and shipped back, roughly 2 weeks) and sent it back to me, allegedly fixed and functioning with no issues. After it STILL did not work, Samsung stated that AT&T was the issue. All this time I am STILL paying for the phone AND for service that I did not receive. While I owned this phone and experienced all these issues I lived in upstate NY, Charlotte NC, Phoenix AZ, and went on multiple work trips to large cities with great coverage - all with no change in my situation or the functionally of the phone. I moved to a new city and could not call, text, or use gps or the internet. I was stranded and felt so unsafe because of this unreliable and unreal situation. I cried in parking lots outside of AT&T stores after going in and imploring with them again to fix this- all with zero result. Their ONLY answer was that I could pay off the phone and try again or go elsewhere. I FINALLY had to put the remaining amount owed on a credit card to get the eff away from them and go to a different provider. This provider told me they hear this same unfortunate story often from AT&T customers who got basically screwed by this "company" and they helped me SO much. Day ONE with that other provider and I cannot believe the difference. This phone WORKS, as the AT&T one should have. Absolute shame on you AT&T for taking advantage of people who cannot afford to be taken advantage of. It's disgusting. Consumers, beware. Do not sign up with AT&T. read more

Came into this location to make a cash payment arrived at 2:10pm today , went to try to use the kiosk they have inside the store , warning don't use it it's very very slow and freezes up on the current user. Kiosk wasn't completing transaction brought it up to store manager Eddie and Ally to see if they could help , had to interrupt their conversation to be acknowledged. Walks over to kiosk with me makes a joke of the situation and I have to wait for another rep to open the kiosk and physically give me what I deposited. Manager adds me to wait list instead of helping take the cash up front for my monthly payment to be on my way . Store experience- customer service is not good , no apology, no empathy no anything. Let me start with the fact that when I went in store to switch from Sprint about 8 months ago, everything was great, the employees took care of everything and I was in and out in less than 30min with a new phone. My first bill came in, and I was signed up for their phone insurance plan. No one even bothered to go over this with me, nor ask me if I wanted to sign up for that service. The sales person also told me to bring them my final bill from Sprint and I will be reimbursed for all the close fees and what no. I told him that the phone I had with Sprint was paid off and I didn't have to trade it in, and he still stated that I will be reimbursed for all the expenses, aka in his words "they will take care of it." After coming in with my final bill, I was told by a different person how they can't do anything with the bill in store, and I will have to submit it online. Which I had no problem with, but their website was bugging so I came back to stage store, where an employee told me that everything went through and they will take care of the bill with Sprint. Now, 8 months later I got a call from a collection agency saying I owe $178 to Sprint. I called ATT customer service and was informed they haven't received anything, but they will take care of it if I go to the store and talk to a representative, he also stated he put everything in notes so they can expedite my refund or a gift card or however they pay back their customers. Initially I was told ATT will pay for all expenses, now I found out that they will give me a gift card instead, which was a little frustrating but I was still fine with it. I just came back from the store where an employee told me I'm out of luck for my money, and I was never supposed to be getting any gift card or reimbursement, but simply only store credit IF I traded my phone in! So I asked him to talk to a person who took care of me initially and was told that he does not work there anymore. My point is don't trust anything they say in this store. I'm out of $178 that I had to pay on my own, and they don't want to do anything about it, even when their own employee told me I will be taken care of. I do not recommend this store to anyone! I will be contacting Their corporate office, and if that doesn't work as soon as I'm out of the contract I will be bringing my business somewhere else! read more
