If you don't believe AT&T wireless service is the way to go, check this fact out. I'm a retired communications person, so I have an edge over the public. For years I used my TV carrier to provide my wireless phone service at the price of $14 a Gig. There were so many transmission dead spots and it never worked on the casino floor... AT&T ran a promotion, so I switched. Now I have unlimited service with no dead spots, including the casino floor, for just a few dollars more. read more

Archer, you should understand that not all people are alike, and some are harder to deal than others. should I ever be fortunate enough to have you sitting across my desk as my customer I will make sure I treat you with the outmost respect as a profesional should, whether you deserve it or not. My wife went to the store to pick up an order of 3 phones that got delivered there. Since the account is under my name they wouldn't release the phones and that was quite understandable and alright with us. My wife called me at work and asked if I could go get them before they close at 8:00PM. I left work earlier than I should have and made it to at&t at 7:48 PM. The door was locked and two attendants were inside. One opened the door and said they couldn't help me because the store was closed. The sign on the door clearly shows they close at 8:00PM not a little before 8:00PM What got me upset is the condescending, demeaning attitude I got. I explained to the attendant I just needed to pick up an order that was already paid for and that was all I needed. She then related that to her coworker or manager and he replied from afar, quote " well we are close and there is nothing we can do about that" with a sassy tone like he enjoyed turning people away, showing how he couldn't care less about the store's customers. Then I replied to him, your sign indicates you close at 8:00PM not 7:48PM he then got to the door and again repeated the system is closed and nothing can be done. when he said that, I took a closer look at his name tag and he proudly stuck his chest out displaying his name and told me Archer, that is my name. That is when I decided to drop it and not get into a loosing battle with someone who is not willing to lift a finger to assist. I had tried reaching this store in Palmdale for three days to find out if they have the phone I want. Every time time I call no one answers the phone at all. When we finally went into the store itself the staff was exceptional in helping us make sense of what AT&T Customer Service had told us over the phone and what actually was available in the store. Mo, the manager was very accommodating for our trouble and frustration. Got a "free" watch with an offer just to find out it wasn't free 4 months down the road. Now paying that off. I never enjoy going here. The environment is dreary and the wait is long. I only go to AT&T out of a necessity to buy or change something about my phone. I went to this location to upgrade my phone. All I wanted was a new phone, but as the representative (who was very nice) was clicking away on his tablet to activate the new phone and make the needed changes the representative let me know the 25 gig plan I was on was no longer available and I needed to upgrade to the 30 gig plan to move forward with my upgrade. I didn't want my plan to change at all, but the representative assured me they would be able to "grandfather" my plan back to the original plan, all I had to do was call the AT&T customer service line. After a total of 4 calls and speaking to 4 different representatives about 2 hours each (not to mention the huge migraine) my plan still isn't fixed and now I'm being charged extra money for text messages & locked in for another 2 years :( I wish I had never upgraded my phone. read more

The sales reps and managers both lied to me several times just to get me to leave Verizon and come to ATT. They promised a quote of $214.17 a month, but my bill is over $390.00 a month. We called ahead of time to see if they had the iPhone in stock. They tell us yes come in and make a reservation. We have well over 20 of them in stock. So we make an appointment come In are are hoping to upgrade and purchase one. We got there and we waited 30 minutes while some of us waited outside in the cold only to find out they did not have any at all in stock. We are livid!!! Why lie and make us wait?! And while it's cold outside during a freaking pandemic as well. The absolute WORST!!! We just walked out. Why lie and just yell us it was back ordered so we can just order online. After waiting so long i decided to buy 2 sets of AirPods and was advised buy the salesman that there would be no restocking fee if returned before Dec 24. I didnt even ask about it. He just told me.. Extremely rude. Arrived on Sunday 10/15 around 4:30pm. My husband's phone, which is less than a year old, had stopped charging overnight. After waiting for an hour due to them being short staffed we were finally seen to. The lady who 'assisted' us was ready to help until we mentioned we did prepaid. She immediately put us on the phone with warranty, tried to pitch us a sale for streaming services while we were on hold and then walked away when we showed no interest in that. While on the phone their warranty rep told us that she was supposed to offer to fix it in store or replace it since the phone was still new. Or he could send it in to them and wait 5-10 business days for it to be returned. Since his phone is primarily a work phone that isn't feasible. After getting off the phone we found the lady clicking around on a computer, and without making eye contact asked if we wanted to buy a new phone. When we said no, and if it was possible for the problem to fixed here she said no. Again, eyes still on her screen, body language basically saying 'if I can't make a commission off of you, you're not worth my time.' So we left. Not sure what were going to do now, but you can bet we won't be returning to this store. read more

We went here to turn in our old phones from a recent upgrade. We were quickly added to the waitlist to find out there were 7 people in front of us. After about 30/40 minutes we were finally assisted with our return. At this point I was a little frustrated. And if I had to base my review Foley on this, I probably would be giving one star, BUT once we were assisted, the customer service was fantastic. Quick Summary: 1. I called 20 times until they finally answered the phone. 2. After answering my call, they placed me on hold for 1 hour and 35 minutes. 3. I placed an online order for nearly a $1,000. I just wanted to pick it up. Over a period of two days, I called this store at least 20 times with no answer. At first, I thought the phone number they are posting on Yelp, on their website, or on the AT&T website was incorrect. But somebody finally answered the phone. Since the phone works, they are not making answering the phone a priority. It appears that they are giving priority to people that are in the store. I am willing to give them 5 stars if the manager of the store does something about this. I can verify by randomly calling to make sure they answer the phone. But I need a response from the owner or manager of the business. Here are two suggestions for the business owner. 1. If your employees are busy, tell them to answer the phone anyways. Let your customer know when they can expect to get a call back. 2. Establish a maximum time on placing a customer on hold. Who am I? Just a guy who placed a thousand dollar online order and wants his 74-year-old dad to pick up the phone in the store. But your employees did everything they could to make that as difficult and as unpleasant as possible. So after 1 hour and 35 minutes on hold, I decided to hang up and have my dad go to another store. I successfully made my purchase at another store located at 2002 W Avenue J, Lancaster, CA. The people at the new store were incredibly knowledgeable and nice. As a fellow business owner, I know one thing. It's not the employees' fault. It' the owner's fault for not holding the employees accountable. read more

I went in today 11/28/20 to pay my bill and upgrade my iphone but I want told to give my name to be place on a list and wait outside to be called in. Well how about I was the only black person wait to be call in. Never once did they call or text me! They left me waiting for over a hour plus I watched others after me walking in one right after another. When I called in a female name yuma who was rude and when I asked for the manager she told me he's not there now and when I asked for anyone in charge she said that would be Mo and he's not there, around and around we went until I told her I was calling corporate on her and hung up. I returned to the store spoke to Edberg and he stated they called everyone on the the list and basically calling me a liar.... This store is awful and failed to correct THEIR mistake. Jasmine and the store manager, Dion, in no way provide a willing and helpful attitude. My sister went in to trade-in her old phone back in October and explained the situation to the representative who processed the trade-in. Fast forward to January and all of a sudden we receive an email stating we will be charged $600 for the device not being returned. We called into customer service and they just gave us the run around, so she went back to the store where she traded in the phone and they refused to correct their mistake. Apparently the representative processed the trade-in incorrectly, and instead of simply correcting it and removing the charge they kept her waiting in the store for two hours while they went in the back room to come up with excuses as to why they couldn't fix it. So she left with no resolution. They had her phone and were trying to charge us $600 for it. Makes no sense. That night I turned to twitter for help and an AT&T social media rep was able to resolve my issue almost instantly. I understand that the store is primarily concerned with sales, but if they make a mistake then they should own and resolve it. read more

Went in to start a business account and was told about the discounts I would be receiving, even an overview of the expected first month bill...come to find out it was 300 dollars more than expected. The worst !!! I went to upgrade my phone. Sergio told me I could do my iCloud update at home faster. So I took my newly purchased phone and went home and tried to update my phone to the cloud. After three at unsuccessful attempts. I went back to the store. I sat in the store for 90 minutes ignored by every employee. When I first got to the store I told Sergio the iCloud update didn't work. That I would be happy to wait until he is finished with his current customer. After an hour and a half he finished with a customer and he went to the back office and disappeared. I spoke to an employee by the name of "NOE" . I asked him was Sergio on a break, he said no he's working in the back office. I told him not one employee addressed to me for the last 90 minutes I've been in the store. You told me you could take my name now when I could sit down. I told him I was going to file a complaint with AT&T. He rolled his eyes and walked away. After an hour and 15 minutes on the phone with AT&T retention they told me all I could do was go into the store and complain. Came in just before 6pm today to upgrade to a iPhone 7 from a 5c that turned into a brick a few days ago. Greeted immediately, and when we told the girl checking us in why and what we were looking for, she let us know that the new iPhones would be out in a few weeks. We couldn't go without a phone for that long, but I appreciated that she thought to let us know there was an opportunity for saving money there. Claudia helped us set up the new phone, including putting on the screen protector and case. She walked us through iCloud and how to use it, and explained that the SIM card was in a queue to be activated through their global network, so the phone would read as having no service for a short while. Said to come back if we had any issues. In and out with all the above in 30 minutes. The phone was up and running within 30 minutes after leaving. Super happy with our experience, and I would definitely recommend Claudia to anyone for setup. read more

*Note: This review is actually for the Authorized AT&T Dealer inside the Mall, not the AT&T Location outside the mall. I cannot locate the dealer on yelp to add the review but I wanted to warn people about this place* I went into this location while visiting family up in Palmdale. All I needed was an IPhone 5 charger for my car. The man at the store sold one to me and told me that I only had 3 days to return it. The very next day when I opened it up to charge my phone, I quickly realized that he had sold me a Samsung charger, not an Iphone! So I promptly took it to another AT&T store near me where I was told...dun dun dun...that this was not an actual AT&T store and that I could only return it in Palmdale! Can you believe that! I don't live anywhere near Palmdale.... I could not even return it at another Authorized dealership because they are not owned by the same people. So beware! Make sure that you are buying product from an actual AT&T store and not the authorized retailers. read more
