I am reviewing the Verizon store located on Trade Center Dr. It is surrounded by Lowe's, Wendy's, and Starbucks. This particular Verizon is a company store owned by Verizon. I have seen some reviews mixed with this Verizon store that concern another nearby Verizon store located next to Applebee's and Ashley Furniture. The other Verizon store is not a company store and does not share the same store representatives. I was in need of upgrading four lines on my account. The debut of the new iPhone 16 lineup was my queue to purchase upgrade phones. I attempted to use the Verizon website to place the order, but its shopping cart system didn't leave me feeling confident that everything was matching up. Additionally, I used the Verizon live chat to ask questions about the new Ultimate series of plans. Frustratingly, the chat agent was the least helpful Verizon representative I've ever been paired with. She gave me several incorrect answers. I knew I needed in-person help. Off to the Verizon store I went. The Verizon store is in a small shopping center that has plenty of standard parking. There are two accessible parking spaces. The Verizon store staff made a first great impression by immediately rushing to the door to hold it open so I could enter with a wheelchair. I was assisted by Verizon store rep Kevin. Kevin helped my family and I find the solutions we needed to accomplish my transactional needs. Kevin was knowledgeable about Verizon promotions, plans, professional discounts, and how to best place our orders to ensure they would arrive on time. My experience with Kevin is what the website and live chat could not offer me. The store had a remodel a couple of years ago. I didn't find the previous setup of the store to be completely accessible. However, the new setup includes several accessible elements such as an accessible height (lower) customer counter for people in wheelchairs and an online order pick up kiosk that has wheelchair height lockers on the bottom row. Though I hope the inside of the locker follows 2010 ADA Standards § 308 for minimum and maximum reach heights for people in wheelchairs. In this case, bottom shelf in the accessible labeled pick up lockers should be at least 15 inches above the floor so a person in a wheelchair can easily retrieve an item from within the locker. All of the employees seem genuinely engaged with the customers. I even saw the security guard bring a chair out for a person with a disability that does not allow them to stand for an extended time. This made me feel even better about my decision to patronize this particular Verizon store. Though it is unfortunate that not every problem can be easily solved by a store rep because of the nature of wireless phone contracts and upgrade terms and conditions, I believe the reps in this Verizon store do their very best to do right by their customers. I had to go back to the Verizon store the following day to change one of my upgrade phone orders to a different phone model. The staff had the door wide open for me to enter with my mobility aid even before I reached the door. That impressed me. Kevin again assisted me and helped me reach the best option to complete my change. He stood by and made sure I got exactly what I needed while I chatted on the phone with a higher level Verizon customer service rep that could do what I needed to be done. During my time in the store, I saw the store reps engaged with customers and making sure they left the store with full understanding and satisfaction. My mom went today and had a horrible and questionable experience. In purchasing a new phone and paying the taxes, they refuse her two 100 dollar bills. She then asked to pay by credit card. The guy accepted and told her needed a picture of the front and back of both her license and credit card. Ive never heard of anything like that ever! Nobody should have a picture of the front and back of your credit card unless they plan to scam you. I have advised her to put a stop on the credit card. Ive never had someone take a picture of the front and back of my license and credit card. Worst fucking customer service of my life! I went in this morning because my phone was dropped and wouldn't turn on, I'm thinking Verizon can help me by being able to trade in my device. Instead, the asshole associate whose name I forgot didn't even explain to me why my bill is goinp up so high. Instead of helping me, he just rushed me into upgrading my phone and just rushed me out the door. Even had the audacity to say I can trash my old phone. When I went to the Verizon third-party retailer, they explained EVERYTHING to me. Come to find out, not only can I lower my bill and trade in my phone, but i was being overcharged for perks i did not need from this Verizon store. Great. When I went back to this store to speak to that same associate, he then proceeded to insult me in front of everyone saying I wasn't listening to him earlier. Came in today and saw Ricky. We have had a long business relationship at a different location. When our previous rep left, we struggled to find another that could match the exceptional service. Ricky was very helpful today! He helped us reduce our bill and was honest with what he thought would and wouldn't work. He offered current promotions and had a positive attitude. I lost my cell phone in the ocean 2 weeks ago. I went into Verizon and was helped by Paul gantt. My experience was excellent. I purchased a new apple iPhone, received a free iPad and renewed an excellent contract. Since then I have been in twice with issues I couldn't figure out. Paul resolved them instantly. I highly recommend this store and Paul. The manager was great also. So glad to have this store close by. read more

I upgraded my phone a couple weeks ago with Kevin. He had asked me if anyone else in our plan wanted to upgrade, I let him know that my mom wanted to also, but she lives in Camarillo. I had asked him if I get her to come out from Camarillo, if he could help me set up her phone with the same plan and the same promos. He gave me his phone number and advised me to text him when I was going to head in, so I made an appointment, he ended up not being there, so we ended up working with Lucille (sp.?) who was amazing and had great customer service! Come to find out, they wouldn't honor the same deal for paying off the balance on her phone, but they did on mine. I advised them that Kevin had told us Verizon pays off the remaining balance when you upgrade, we were told that this was not true and it had to be part of a promotion. Tried contacting Kevin, never got a response. Kevin also added Netflix, Hulu and Disney bundle on my account when I told him I did not want it since I already got a student discount that was way lower than their price offered. I realized it was on our bill, even though I never said I wanted it on there! So if my husband did not look on his account, we would have been charged. I stepped into this store just to be transferred to a representative over the phone. The guy "helping" said he couldn't do anything about it. How am I supposed to get a hold of someone who can handle something that the store can't? If my service is interrupted I'm sure the store won't be able to do anything, I get that. Hello everyone. So this was really an unfortunate day when it came to customer service at Verizon. I don't come in often and when I do it's because I honestly have no idea how to fix the problem and need help. So I just bought the Google pixel 3 xl but when I tried to use it the network wasn't working, so no internet and no phone calls. I arrive and am greeted by two men asking me what I needed which i know can rub some people the wrong way but I didn't care I just wanted to get my problem fixed. Now there is only one customer present so it's not like they were busy in my eyes. I tell them my problem and give me phone over. The first thing I am told is that there might be a pause in the network and that might be why my phone's network isn't working. Which might be possible but it would be nice if he had called someone r confirmed it. Next thing they say is where I bought it and I tell them it's a Best buy Verizon Google pixel 3 xl. Now they send me to Best buy saying there is nothing they can do... So as unlikely as that was I head over to Best buy and the person rolls their eyes saying they could have helped me and that they didn't want to. After replacing my sim card long and behold my network is back online. So great service in that store... Hope it's not a norm. Beware when you visit them because obviously there are incompetent workers there. I really hope it was just bad luck Good luck everyone! read more

Went to upgrade my phone, the guy informed us that we had to order the phone through the app and it would only be a 10 minute wait. Sounded great, so we went back to the car, ordered the phone, and the app said it would be about a 15 minute wait. After about 30 minutes of waiting we went back up the the store and a new guy was there, who said no it's usually about a 2 hour wait. I get it if I have to wait, but it was just very irritating that both the first guy and the app said it would only be 10-15 minutes when in reality that's not the case. update, it's been four hours and still nothing. read more

I had given my Mom money to purchase a brand new phone upfront and she was so excited until she made it to this location yesterday morning, where sje left so disappointed. She arrived with my brother right around 11am when they were semi greeted by employees who clearly were having a bad morning or did not want to be there. My brother and Mom explained that she wanted to purchase a new phone (ALL UP FRONT) yet Isaac informed my Mom she would still need to be charged an upgrade fee of $40. They asked why if the phone is being purchased out front and they really had no firm answer. This just goes to show this is just another "hidden not so hidden fee" to charge people.To top it off Isaac and another employee weren't even pleasant and my brother told my Mom he would just drive her to the apple store instead and this is where an employee told him " You are really going to drive to Valencia over $40". What kind of customer service is this? Who would ask something like this when they are in the "CS". And yes, we would drive our Mom anywhere else where she is going to get better service. Switched over to Verizon from ATT and I regret the whole decision . I've been experiencing horrible service on the Verizon network to the point it even takes my iMessages minutes to send at a time . The manager Sergio Molina was no help either . Instead of trying to find a solution or offer help about my situation he told me I'm receiving all these discounts that I have no reason to be mad . Yes I am receiving discounts but at what cost to my service ? I am on Verizon's best plan supposedly with no throttling of my data speeds . But yet I am experiencing horrible service to where my iMessages take minutes to send . And the excuse was that I'm receiving discounts ? That's not cool . This store alone almost caused me to cancel my whole verizon account. I have been a customer for over 15 years and not once have i had such horrible customer service. I came in to switch a defective brand new phone and the guy jokingly says were closed. I laughed... i can take a joke. He then says sorry you need the box. Ok whatever the verizon tech didnt tell me that who referred me to take my phone in. So i return with the box the next evening at 6:30 and some yahoo with an ipad says "how can we help you" i explain and then he suddenly says "sorry our appointments are all closed for the evening". Came to Verizon store (close to the 14 freeway entrance and across Starbucks/Popeyes's in Rancho Vista Blvd) on Tuesday 2/12, 15 Mins before closing. Was assisted by the "awesomest" Christian Olivas and store manager, Chris Iglesias. We recently moved to Palmdale from Los Angeles. Decided to switch due to t-mobile's poor data connection in AV area (and almost all the time). Im not gonna lie - i was Really hesitant to even walk-in 'coz Verizon is said to be very expensive, not a family/bundle plan friendly, etc. Well, I was wrong! On top of being the best provider.. This store have the most amazing employees (please take note of those 2 names said on top), and their goal was for us to leave happy and very satisfied with the service. Well heeelll YEAH - they actually went waaayyy beyond the service we are expecting! We ended up switching lines for all 5 phones, an ipad mini 4, and got all the bundled accessories for almost nothing out of our pocket! Amazing right?!!! Though we felt sooo bad because it was after their regular working hours - these two, even for a second, didn't made us feel uneasy. They stayed calm and very professional despite of our demandsss! On December 18, 2019 I went to this Verizon store to switch my service from at&t. Isaac Chavez approached me and I asked what type of deals he had in store. Isaac informed me that I could get a business account for 5 phones with 200$ in credits per line. I went ahead and started the process. I asked Isaac if I could use some of the credits towards my bill and he stated "yes". He told me when the bill came in to only pay the service charge, be a couple days late, and not pay the taxes. He said the taxes would be covered by the remaining service credits. I thought it was very unprofessional for Isaac to tell me to go late on my bill but he informed me he is very professional and does this all the time. As Isaac wrapped up the deal, he gave me no receipt and no paperwork honoring my transaction and did not open all of the phones to check if they were in good condition. As I went home and distributed a phone to one of my employees, she opened it up and the back of the phone was cracked. The next day I went back into the Verizon store and spoke to Isaac and his manager who very rudely inclined I broke the phone. They told me there was nothing the could do for me. I asked the manager for the corporate number and the laughed at me. The manager provided me with a number but, the number was not for the corporate office. I contacted the billing department to acquire the corporate number and to check on my account. I was informed I was not honored any store credits and my bill was due sooner than I was told. I was outraged. I felt extremely betrayed by a company I thought was very honorable. Isaac even provided me with a business card that had a wrong address on it. I was disappointed with the customer service of this location. I showed up to the store and was told that I had to make an appt due to the Corona Virus restrictions. I had no problem with that so I made an appt. the earliest appt was two days later and o made special arrangements with my schedule to be there. I needed to trouble shoot my daughters phone. It had a cracked screen but was fully functional for an12 months after that. The "manager" called me 45 minutes before my appt and told me that they could not do anything for me. He said that he called 2-3 times that morning with no answer and my voicemail full. That was a lie. He also told me he would not be able to help me and canceled my appt. If I could give a negative star I would. Have been long time Verizon customers with three phone lines, our two young daughters phone watches in addition and a Wifi jet pack for my stepson. Went to return my stepsons Wifi after a year and we're told there was a two year contract. I told the rep (mind you was very rude and condescending) we specifically asked when wE got the Wifi if we Can cancel after a year seeing my stepson paid us in advance 12 months to use for college temporarily and we were told yes. We were very very specific with our request. Myself, my husband, my stepson and my exhusband were all present during this transaction in January 2019. We walked in last week and the guy who greeted us said there is nothing we can do but pay the $150 fee. I said we were never told this and we were very specific on our timeline. I asked for his manager he refused until I Became angry then this other rep walks over and says too call this customer service number and see if they will waive it. I am giving a poor rating due to the rudeness and lack of willing to hear us out. The rep told me that the rep "Shawn" who sold the Wifi tO us is ""very thorough" and he would of told us this. Basically calling us a liar. I became very heated and said I am very tHorough myself I work in corporate America and my husband in the federal government. We aren't idiots and to insinuate that yOur Verizon rep is smarter than us and that we were told about a two year contract when we specifically asked on several times whenn pUrchasing the device seeing we knew we only needed it for r one year is a complete lie by Verizon. The company I work for Bank of America has a corporate account which I have monthly services in addition with them and have filed complaints about Verizon also on how their Sales rep and this location lied to us and thEn treated us poorly in are recent visit. I have gone to this location a few times to make purchases, but they never have the items at the store. The associates try to get me to order it on line or find it at another store. Why is this store even here if they can't stock the basics and take care of the customer? I used to go to the Pasadena store on Lake Ave when I lived near there and even though it's one of the busiest in SoCal, it is an efficient, well oiled machine. Because of the poor service I am very reluctant to go into the Palmdale Corporate store on Trade Center Dr. to get 2 new iphones and an IPad Pro. RACISM ON 1/23!!!! My husband and I own a business in quartz hill. We have used Verizon for our personal and business needs for years. We have over 25 business lines open. One of our iPads Sim cards stopped working, and we received two iPads as replacements for stolen iPads that were also not working when we received them. My husband took the three iPads to Verizon to have the Sim cards activated. For over three hours the employee Uzriel laughed at, belittled, and accused my husband. The Verizon employee refused to assist us in activating the SIM cards, because my husband couldn't login to his "Verizon business" app. Uzriel took all 3 SIM cards out of our iPads and refused to give them back. Uzriel also asked for our business EIN and my husbands full SSN! My husband is a young, black man, with a very lucrative business. He never goes to Verizon but our office manager and PA had the day off so he took it upon himself to get this squared away. Not only was my husband profiled, but the police were waiting outside for him when he walked out of Verizon. Uzriel and the unnamed "manager" also locked our account on suspicion of fraud! We immediately called corporate. Funny, corporate was able to locate our account within minutes and activated all three iPads. We used the IMEI number on each iPad to connect them to our business account. We have had quite a few racist encounters but nothing as grossly audacious as this. My husband is a kind and soft spoken person, I on the other hand, am not. This is my second of MANY steps to seek Justice for the way we were treated at VERIZON! You can bet that. read more

Verizon Wireless-we have been customers for over 20 years! Yes 20. And I am so upset with their customer service and Sales Dept. I am going to put a review up so others know how horrible they are! On 12/21, I ordered 4 new phones, 4 cases and 4 screen covers. I was promised delivery via fed ex on 12/24 before 8pm. I asked several times if he was able to 100% guarantee that I would receive them on or before this time and he said absolutely! I explained that these are my kids Xmas presents and if they can't guarantee shipment time then I would rather go into the store and buy them. He said no.. all is good and I would get them for sure. So guess what?! No delivery on 12/24. So I called Fed Ex. And asked them and they said they hadn't even been instructed to pick up the packages. OMG what!!??? So I call Verizon and sure enough they placed the order late. An employee screwed up. Wow! So I am mad and I asked since the stores were still open could I just cancel my order and go buy the phones at the store. Nope! Not an option. Because the order takes 2-3 days to Cancel and shows as a pending order so you can't place a new order. So I am left with that. No phones, no cases. Nada! So here we are today! Got a delivery... and they only delivered 2 phones. Not the other 2 phones not any accessories. so.. I am now on the phone with Verizon Customer service. Waited on hold for 21 minutes. Been transferred twice. Now 57 minutes later they can't find the rest of my order. Never shipped it out. Wow! Wow! Wow! Just "We are sorry"! No credit to my bill, no solution to my problem... just sorry. Now we have to replace the order and wait again. I have 7 lines with Verizon and I should Cancel w/ them. So irritating!!!! read more

They seem nice at first but are not helpful at all. Will give you conflicting information about promotions that are a massive headache to fix. You're way better off shopping online. Stay away from this store. read more
