They have HORRIBLE customer service at this store. The store supervisor, Kevin, initially helped me with switching my service to Verizon, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Unfortunately, it now feels like the main priority was getting me to sign up for services rather than actually helping me afterward. The only reason I switched to Verizon was because I was told my previous phone company would be paid off. I have submitted all of the required documentation and have spoken with multiple Verizon customer service representatives by phone. Each time, I'm told that the issue will be taken care of and that they apologize for the inconvenience, but nothing gets resolved. Kevin, the store supervisor, submitted documentation when he opened my Verizon account so that I could receive my rebate card. Unfortunately, the paperwork was not submitted correctly. I have spoken with him multiple times and asked for assistance, but he was unwilling to help. He also refused to call customer service and submit the necessary information on my behalf. I was specifically told by Verizon's phone customer service that the store supervisor is able to assist with this issue and should be able to submit the required paperwork. Despite that, I was refused assistance. I have now been dealing with this issue for SEVEN MONTHS. Verizon has repeatedly acknowledged that there is a problem, apologized, and promised that it would be corrected, yet nothing has been resolved. I'm extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I've received both at this store and through Verizon's phone customer service. If you're considering switching to Verizon, please be aware of my experience and make sure you fully understand what you're being promised before making the switch. read more

I would've given this business five stars if they would have been able to give me change for a cash payment. I believe a business should provide change if you are able to make a payment at the location. I had to go to the bank two doors down which I am not a member of and thankfully a customer was able to exchange my hundred dollar bill for five $20 bill bills so then I could go make a payment at Verizon because they do not provide a change. Outstanding customer service! The difference between here and the location on trade center drive is literally night and day. I came into the store frustrated because the other Verizon told me I couldn't trade in my phone and they wouldn't explain to me why my bill was so high. At THIS STORE, not only did they lower my bill, but he took the time to explain everything to me and I also found out that I can trade in my phone. BUYER BEWARE. Yesterday I visited this location to upgrade one of my lines to the new iPhone with a trade in. We were fully prepared for upgrade, we backed up the iPhone to iCloud and went in for a simple transaction that we have done many times before at other locations. I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years and this is the first time that I visited a Victra Verizon authorized retailer. The rep who assisted us was Madi H, who said she was the assistant manager. I asked many questions throughout the upgrade process because I wanted to make sure I was aware of my upcoming bill and all fees like the taxes of the phone and the upgrade fee. She kept saying today you would pay this amount with the additional fees. I asked her what the fees were and she said that there is an additional $40 that they charge through Victra because they are not a corporate location. I ask her what the $40 was for because I had never heard of such a thing, especially not at any corporate location. And she said the $40 charge is not optional, they always charge it per store policy and the only way around it would be for me to go to a Verizon corporate store or purchase the phone myself online. But if I chose to buy the phone with them today, they are required to charge that fee because it is not optional. We urgently needed to upgrade the phone and thought we had no choice but to pay the fee. I messaged my husband about this odd practice and he showed me the screenshot I posted online which states that $40 fee is an optional service that is only charged if you need additional help with your phone. I asked Maddie about that and she said no it is not optional again, you are required to pay it today if you want to purchase the phone through us. At that point she was already opening the new iPhone before we even tended the transaction, so I said whatever I guess it's already done. We signed the paperwork and she told me we can go home and bring the trade in later. I told her no we are going to restore my lines backup before we leave, to make sure she has all her stuff before she leaves her trade in. So I took that time to call Victra customer support, which also confirmed that the $40 fee is an optional service that is not mandatory. I went back inside and confronted her about that and I told her that is a scam and you were not supposed to charge us this $40 fee. She said Victra customer support is lying and she doesn't know that why that would say that. She again said that it is their store policy to charge this fee with every device they sell. So if you Google about the Victra fee, if you call Victra customer support it all says that is an optional service not a required charge. So if you have been wrongfully scammed as I was I would recommend to call and file a complaint as I am. Lastly another thing that I noticed when I got home, we traded in a device that was fully paid off for months now. There is a line on the receipt that says the device balance is $0 but at the end of the line they charged 10 more dollars. Why? I don't know I guess they just like to take everything they can out of their customers. I am assuming they make commission off of this $40 fee that they are adding to every device. read more

I would not do business with a dishonest store. Clearly I should have checked online on the price of the jet packs before heading to the store. They charged me $130 plus another $20 for setup fees. Note this does not include the $35 activation fees Verizon charges which I am fine with. Verizon charges only $79.99 for the same online. To top it off they just decided to order 2 iPads without my permission. Clearly there is something wrong with the mentality and pushy sales team employed here. While Madi is extremely helpful, the other young men who work with her are not. They are really rude and the worst part is that every single time I've been there they did not know how to solve my problem and didn't give a flying flip about it. They said, "ask Madi"; "your Madi's customer". This is really frustrating b/c the problems tend to be complicated to the point where you can't use your phone, or you can't log in to pay bills etc. Madi seems to be the go-to person but she's not always there. Somebody else needs to be able to handle a variety of issues and Verizon needs to PAY PEOPLE WELL so that those with actual brains stay. Called Verizon to ask questions about getting an upgrade. They stated we could order from the store and pick up the phone easily if we preferred. Went into the store and nobody said anything as we entered but we took a seat as others were in the store. It took a few minutes for someone to ask if we needed help and we explained we wanted to upgrade one of our phones. We didn't want anything except a normal upgrade. They pulled everything up and told us the cost would be over $300. When asked why it was so expensive they explained we had to take the accessory package and be charged a fee for coming into the store for a purchase. If we didn't want the extra fees/accessories, we would have to order online. We went to our car and placed the order via phone (seems extremely pointless, right?) Saved over $200. We were told it would take 2-3 hours before we could pick it up. Since the phone was a Christmas gift for one of our kids we checked the box online stating it was a gift so a text message would not be sent to the line. We came back 2 hours later and there is nobody inside the store except the workers. They are all sitting and talking while we sit in the car because we have to wait until we are informed in the app the phone is available for pickup. Another stupid thing is that you cannot even call a Verizon store anymore. Verizon's whole system alienates their customers from the process and it allows them to pass you off over and over. You can't even complain to a live person. When I called while I was sitting in the parking lot, the lady on the phone said if I wanted to express my concerns I could do it by going into the Verizon app and communicating it through the app. Customer service/care out the door with Verizon. read more

Verizon itself is a reputable retailer of mobile communications devices and services. I have been a client of Verizon for many years and I am pleased overall with their services. For the most part, my interactions and dealings with Verizon, both in-person and telephonically, has been favorable. However, the only exception is with this store located in Palmdale, CA off of 10th St West, by Applebee's and across from the mall. Both terrible experiences involved the same lady. The first experience occurred when I purchased three Apple iPhones and services. She totally erased all my texts and data when transferring records from my previous phone to my new phone. There is valuable and sentimental I formation that I will never be able to recover in addition to legal records. I had backups completed but somehow they got deleted. When I asked how it can be fixed, she stated she did not know. That in itself is bad enough however it was the cavalier uncaring attitude that was displayed with the response. There was no customer empathy. Now, fast forward to today ... I went to pickup an iPad I ordered on 3 December 2020. It arrived on 8 December 2020, however no one called me to retrieve the item. I called Verizon Customer Service Line to provide an update on my order to which they informed me it was at the store since 8 December 2020. This was disappointing since I was told I would receive a call notifying me it arrived. I contacted the store last night (from the time I write this review) and was told it was available for pick up. The gentleman also apologized and I was fine with all since it's challenging circumstances these days. When I arrived today to pick up my item, I was told by the lady employee that i had to wait behind around 4-5 other cars of people. I asked if I had to wait since I was just picking up my item that was there. She says I have to wait behind others who are in front of me. Besides the fact that she was rude and provided absolutely terrible customer service, it is beyond asinine to make a customer who has an item to be picked up wait behind other customers who are going to shop and possibly purchase and enter into contracts. These customers in front of me are going inside shopping. Asking questions. Discussing options and purchase plans. This takes a lot of time. All I need to do is pick up an item that I already paid for by contractual agreement and it's communications service. It belongs to me. It would take less than 3 minutes. Instead I am waiting and waiting for browsing customers to shop and finalize their Christmas shopping. This is absolutely terrible customer service, stupidity management decisions in action, and shows no concern for efficiently taking care of customers. I don't pay over $400 a month to Verizon services and purchase a $1.4k iPad to be treated with rudeness and disrespect. I advise you visit another Verizon store instead of this one. There is no care for customers in the way an effective, efficient, and friendly Verizon store should operate. - Failed to call/notify - Rude disrespectful customer service - Forcing customer that needs to retrieve an item wait unnecessarily - Lack of concern or empathy for customer requirements. Very disappointed and totally unsatisfactory. Update: I waited over 1 hour 20 minutes just to pick up the item which took 3 minutes from start to finish. Customer service was much better and employee apologized for the long wait however this is terrible to not differentiate pickup customers and perusing shopping customers. This is seriously one of the most frustrating stores I go to. I called ahead to make sure they were open, what precautions they have in place due to covid and make sure they had what I need. I was told come in, the item was in stock and I would be taken care of. First I was questioned about having the upgrade of lifetime safety glass for the phone because they couldn't find it. I explained it was comped because of the last issue I had when ordering the phone. That, too was a major screw up by this particular store. I will no longer give them my business. Changed over from T mobile to Verizon and very happy with decision. Verizon is great and crystal clear communication. I went into this store in particular and asked about offers. BOGO and free iPhone 12 mini when porting number from T Mobile. Cost of service little higher but you pay for what you get. Quality wireless service. Why 5 stars this particular store?.. staff was awesome, quick had patience in explaining the plans and didn't make me feel pressured to switch. Thanks to Juli who helped me out. Untrustworthy. I purchased two brand new iPhones and two new apple watches a while back. With the phones I also purchased some of their "lifetime warranty" screen protectors which were not Zagg brand but some other brand this retailer pushed. It came time to get a new screen protector after waiting through closures due to the pandemic and they say they don't honor their warranty anymore so the $60 screen protector is no longer something they'll replace. Please just go to the corporate store. They sell legitimate accessories and they stand behind their products. You can get a real Zagg screen protector for $20 cheaper and they're completely upfront with who is guaranteeing the product. I won't be going to any GoWireless locations again. They do not stand behind the products they recommend and sell to you. read more

I bought a iPhone X here 3 months ago. Everyday I block 7-10 spam calls, everyday for 3 months!!! I went on the gov. web to remove the phone #. I haven't received 1 call looking for the person who previously had the phone #, just spam calls, go figure. This is the worst phone # I have ever had. Now I have had this phone for over 6 months. Same thing? I've been out of state for 4 months. All the spam calls come from the local area code. I recently got a new Verizon phone in this area code, no issues at all. We're out shopping on a Saturday evening at 5 pm, for a new IPhone and Apple Watch for Christmas (12/14/19). When we go into this establishment to get some phone/watch prices and to possibly make a sizable cash purchase. We find there is one sales representative working, really with Christmas shopping season, and 3 people in front of us waiting for assistance. When our time for assistance finally comes the sales guy demands our Verizon information (phone number and PIN number). We just wanted some price information on Apple products not to be added to their robo call solicitation or worse have your information stolen. When did it become mandatory for customers to provide personal private information to cell phone providers to obtain prices on their products. Purchased 4 new phones recently and told in front of three other family members that we would receive free cases,chargers and protectors. Jason played bait and switch game which i discovered a few days later while going over my receipt. Was charged for all accessories. Contacted Gowireless and told it was sent to escalation dept. Next day Jason called and lied about what we were told, stated he never said that, although all four of us heard him. Contacted Verizon and customer service rep resolved the issue. Nice to see rep had integrity to do the right thing. Been a Verizon customer for just about twenty years and probably spent ten to twenty thousand dollars on phones and service. DO NOT purchases a phone from here They do not have the same warranty as a Verizon Corporate Store. They also do not have good knowledge of the phones they sell, I've been told (but have not verified) that because they are not a Corporate Store, they are allowed to sell "2nd's" just like an outlet mall so the new phone they sell doesn't need to meet the standards of Verizon or Apple. could possibly have been prevoiusly opened, or damaged.
