    My receipt shows the $40 charge and an additional $10 is that it at the end of the line for the remaining phone balance which was $0.

    BUYER BEWARE. Yesterday I visited this location to upgrade one of my lines to the new iPhone with a trade in. We were fully prepared for upgrade, we backed up the iPhone to iCloud and went in for a simple transaction that we have done many times before at other locations. I have been a Verizon customer for over 10 years and this is the first time that I visited a Victra Verizon authorized retailer. The rep who assisted us was Madi H, who said she was the assistant manager. I asked many questions throughout the upgrade process because I wanted to make sure I was aware of my upcoming bill and all fees like the taxes of the phone and the upgrade fee. She kept saying today you would pay this amount with the additional fees. I asked her what the fees were and she said that there is an additional $40 that they charge through Victra because they are not a corporate location. I ask her what the $40 was for because I had never heard of such a thing, especially not at any corporate location. And she said the $40 charge is not optional, they always charge it per store policy and the only way around it would be for me to go to a Verizon corporate store or purchase the phone myself online. But if I chose to buy the phone with them today, they are required to charge that fee because it is not optional. We urgently needed to upgrade the phone and thought we had no choice but to pay the fee. I messaged my husband about this odd practice and he showed me the screenshot I posted online which states that $40 fee is an optional service that is only charged if you need additional help with your phone. I asked Maddie about that and she said no it is not optional again, you are required to pay it today if you want to purchase the phone through us. At that point she was already opening the new iPhone before we even tended the transaction, so I said whatever I guess it's already done. We signed the paperwork and she told me we can go home and bring the trade in later. I told her no we are going to restore my lines backup before we leave, to make sure she has all her stuff before she leaves her trade in. So I took that time to call Victra customer support, which also confirmed that the $40 fee is an optional service that is not mandatory. I went back inside and confronted her about that and I told her that is a scam and you were not supposed to charge us this $40 fee. She said Victra customer support is lying and she doesn't know that why that would say that. She again said that it is their store policy to charge this fee with every device they sell. So if you Google about the Victra fee, if you call Victra customer support it all says that is an optional service not a required charge. So if you have been wrongfully scammed as I was I would recommend to call and file a complaint as I am. Lastly another thing that I noticed when I got home, we traded in a device that was fully paid off for months now. There is a line on the receipt that says the device balance is $0 but at the end of the line they charged 10 more dollars. Why? I don't know I guess they just like to take everything they can out of their customers. I am assuming they make commission off of this $40 fee that they are adding to every device.

It arrived on time, and the lady that ordered my screen replacement called me the day before it was anticipated to arrive, as promised, to schedule my time to come get it fixed. Once I arrived to the shop, she and the owner (who fixed my screen) were very polite, and very casual. My screen was fixed in less than half an hour, and works beautifully. The very next day, my screen broke again, so I do wish they had some kind of warranty or something - but it was totally my fault that it broke again. (Ive never broken a screen in my life and broke the one on this phone twice in a month right after getting it, go figure!) I was so happy with my experience I called about another phone, and they were very straightforward with me in saying that since my other phone and software was so old, just upgrading would be cheaper. I researched it and they were totally right. I appreciate their candor, rather than them just trying to make a buck off another replacement. I'm not sure why the other reviews are so negative at all. If i need another screen fixed, I will definitely come back with no hesitations. My friend even said she was happy she came with me, because if she has an issue she will definitely come here too.

I called a couple times around noon, and got sent to voicemail. Well, not actual voicemail, because the recording just said voicemail hasn't been set up. Seems like a bad sign for a phone store, but whatever, obviously not available to take my call. I finally get through to someone later that afternoon and explain what I want to do. Without answering my question as to whether it's possible, he asks for my phone number (which I give) and then my PIN. For whatever reason, I get a bad vibe. Maybe it's all the training I get at work to never share my password with another living soul. And though I realize I'm calling to do business about my phone plan, I just wasn't comfortable giving up my PIN; at least not while we're still at the planning stage. I explain that, and ask if there's another way to continue. No. (Boost, are you listening?) So then I think, well, I like my PIN; how about I change it to something temporary and then call back? So I ask the guy's name so I can ask for him later. No. At this point, he's mocking me--using the same language I used earlier about my PIN. And he's very clear that he won't tell me his name. So get off the phone pretty annoyed. But I move forward with the temporary PIN anyway. I call back 2 more times at about 4pm and get the same non-existent voicemail as before. I figure it's a sign to take my business elsewhere. I give up and order the phone online instead. You might be better off doing the same.

    I am reviewing the Verizon store located on Trade Center Dr. It is surrounded by Lowe's, Wendy's,…read moreand Starbucks. This particular Verizon is a company store owned by Verizon. I have seen some reviews mixed with this Verizon store that concern another nearby Verizon store located next to Applebee's and Ashley Furniture. The other Verizon store is not a company store and does not share the same store representatives. I was in need of upgrading four lines on my account. The debut of the new iPhone 16 lineup was my queue to purchase upgrade phones. I attempted to use the Verizon website to place the order, but its shopping cart system didn't leave me feeling confident that everything was matching up. Additionally, I used the Verizon live chat to ask questions about the new Ultimate series of plans. Frustratingly, the chat agent was the least helpful Verizon representative I've ever been paired with. She gave me several incorrect answers. I knew I needed in-person help. Off to the Verizon store I went. The Verizon store is in a small shopping center that has plenty of standard parking. There are two accessible parking spaces. The Verizon store staff made a first great impression by immediately rushing to the door to hold it open so I could enter with a wheelchair. I was assisted by Verizon store rep Kevin. Kevin helped my family and I find the solutions we needed to accomplish my transactional needs. Kevin was knowledgeable about Verizon promotions, plans, professional discounts, and how to best place our orders to ensure they would arrive on time. My experience with Kevin is what the website and live chat could not offer me. The store had a remodel a couple of years ago. I didn't find the previous setup of the store to be completely accessible. However, the new setup includes several accessible elements such as an accessible height (lower) customer counter for people in wheelchairs and an online order pick up kiosk that has wheelchair height lockers on the bottom row. Though I hope the inside of the locker follows 2010 ADA Standards § 308 for minimum and maximum reach heights for people in wheelchairs. In this case, bottom shelf in the accessible labeled pick up lockers should be at least 15 inches above the floor so a person in a wheelchair can easily retrieve an item from within the locker. All of the employees seem genuinely engaged with the customers. I even saw the security guard bring a chair out for a person with a disability that does not allow them to stand for an extended time. This made me feel even better about my decision to patronize this particular Verizon store. Though it is unfortunate that not every problem can be easily solved by a store rep because of the nature of wireless phone contracts and upgrade terms and conditions, I believe the reps in this Verizon store do their very best to do right by their customers. I had to go back to the Verizon store the following day to change one of my upgrade phone orders to a different phone model. The staff had the door wide open for me to enter with my mobility aid even before I reached the door. That impressed me. Kevin again assisted me and helped me reach the best option to complete my change. He stood by and made sure I got exactly what I needed while I chatted on the phone with a higher level Verizon customer service rep that could do what I needed to be done. During my time in the store, I saw the store reps engaged with customers and making sure they left the store with full understanding and satisfaction. Thank you Kevin and the rest of the Verizon store team!

Even when trying to switch out of this company they make it so unbearably difficult. I sincerely wish this company can go bankrupt and never rear its ugly head ever again. They do this on purpose, they get a real kick out of making their customers so angry to the point where they cause unbearable amounts of frustration. Too much of my time and energy has been wasted calling Verizon so they can fix their worthless mistakes. All I ever wanted to do was just do my job successfully, and this company made sure that i dont. This affected my personal life, now I will pray each night that this company will be ruined forever. I trust my prayers with God because he always answers; I can't wait to see the results.
