don't usually write reviews, but this place earned one. I was on a very tight budget and couldn't afford a new battery. Instead of trying to upsell me, they listened and found me a quality used battery that fit what I could afford. They installed it and got me back on the road. The thing that really stood out was how they treated me as a person. It was 104°F in Lancaster that day, and they handed me a bottle of ice-cold water without me asking. That simple act of kindness meant a lot in that heat. They also took the time to answer my questions honestly. When I asked about replacing my broken car window, they didn't pretend to do something they don't. Instead, they recommended AAA Auto Salvage as a good place to find a replacement window. When I have the money, I'll be coming back here to buy their new battery with the 2-year warranty. A V Battery Mart - Give them a call or visit - Battery Stores Near Me - Lancaster, California

Always have the right stuff. Great guys and WONDERFUL SERVICE. Hard to find nowadays.

Went for a battery replacement on a VW Passat. They installed it backwards and fried my whole electrical system. Over $500 of work to get my car back running. Manager was completely rude and went from denying wrongdoing to maybe the corporate office will pay. Edit to update. Battery was installed backwards and then correctly installed. In my vehicle if the battery is connected incorrectly then attempted to be started it will cause severe damage to the main fuses. That's why I was able to drive off but my power steering, a/c, ACC (cruise control, emergency braking, safety signals) all were out. I drove for 30mins after the steering reset attempt before breaking down. I had my car towed to the VW dealership in Palmdale read more

My battery died and I went in and Randy was the one who helped me. He immediately checked my battery, offered me a used one, noticed that there wasn't any in stock, and offered me a new one and gave me a deal, when he absolutely didn't have to. I could tell he is a genuine person and not a sleazy salesperson and he was just super friendly and helpful, I would 1000% go get a battery there again and recommend this place to people. Something as simple as great customer service turned my rough day around and your kindness is appreciated Randy, the world needs more people like you. read more

I bought my battery from AV Battery back in December 2020. In the last two months' I have had to jump start my car twice. I took the car to AV Battery to have it checked out. during our discussion, I told them I had recently purchased a new car and was not driving the Honda with their battery that often. They explained the problem may be that when I do drive the Honda, the trips I was taking were not sufficient to fully recharge the battery. So they wanted to check my battery out. they then gave me a new battery while they checked out the old battery . I was told to come back when I felt like it and they would return my battery if it was alright or I would keep to new battery. THAT'S CALLED GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

We bought a battery for our jeep 13 months ago at AV Battery & on the receipt it said 24 month warranty if defective bring in for a new battery. We brought our battery in because it would be dead after the vechicle would sit for more than 3 or 4 days,to make a long story short they refused to give us another battery saying it was our altenator. We had the vechicle checked out at a repair shop & they said it was the battery. So it looks like we are out almost $100.00 unless we take them to the better business bureau.WARNING do not ever purchase a battery from this company!!!! read more

Being on Social Security and in need of a battery for my Mustang I started calling all the battery locations from auto stores to retail outlet which carried all kinds of needs from food to auto....I called the AV Battery Specialists and was drawn in by a customer review....Craig answered and said he had a battery the number he quoted as to what battery was needed was the same as my research...the quote was close to $60.00 dollars less the highest quote and $30.00 less the the lowest I had found. I went to the shop they exchanged the battery in 15 min including servicing the connectors...and to top it all off Craig would not accept a tip! If you need any kind of battery and you want to save money for a high quality product...call Craig and head on over...it will a very wise move. Robert Thanks Craig.... read more
