Literally the opposite of Customer Service. Their representative J was hiding in the bathroom with both his headphones on hiding from two customers. Then refused to help them while he close the store. What a horrible experience. Glenn did not help at all. As a manager, he was not supportive of any customer support or help. Beware buying lifetime warranty products as now there is charge. Even after tallking with manager he did not care to help. Walked in to get a new line transferred to first net account and was met with a friendly new associate (emily) who did not know what she was doing and created an issue on my account having to wait 48 hours to fix after multiple phone calls to online support. (glenn) the manager tried to fix it after it was to late and was unsuccessful and lacked empathy to the problem that was created. The store manager Vanessa could not be bothered with one extra step of service and when asked to do so, took it as I needed to leave the store. I just want to send out a shoutout to Jarelys Ventura. She helped my grandmother when sales consultants at other at&t locations "could" not help and would not help. It was a fight to return a phone that was within the 14 day return policy at another location. The other location sold my grandmother the phone and would not accept the return. In the end we went to 8085 red bug lake rd location and Jarelys was our Christmas Miracle. She agreed to accept the return of the phone even though there was a debate of hair line scratch that was barely noticeable on the top of the phone, which was the cause of the "back and fourth argument" at the other location. I just want to send my gratitude to her!! My grandmother was under a lot of anxiety and was unable to sleep for days because of not being able to return the phone. Thank you, Jarelys! read more

In home Rep, not the store... Don't fall for the tricks and lies! The Rep comes in if you get TV/Internet with At&T... And the the hogwash starts with promises and lies! I had a nice Iphone 8 and I was convinced to trade it in for an Iphone 11.., My phone and service with Verizon was great, but this salesman made believe I would be stupid not to take the deal of a FREE PHONE! ( Folks it is NOT Free!) First of all my phone was worth more than 200.00 dollars, secondly i was not tied into a contract with Verizon... Well let me tell you the service in my area is horrible and I wished I never switched... If you are a Verizon customer you will never be happy with any other company unless phone calls or text messaging, or anything is not important to you on your wireless... Now for the last weekend and a half I have been going through AT&T hell... Pass along to various offices, with no one offering a solution! The worst customer service. I went in the door and stood waiting for someone to help me. It took 8 minutes before one of the store reps to say,I will be with you in a min...THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST AT&T I have ever been in..I was going to but a Samsung s8 and now I'm going to order online on AMAZON and have it in one day. Three store reps looked directly at me and said nothing for eight minute, only one after 8 minutes thought I was important enough to say he would be with me in a minute, but it took 8 minutes to say something..let me mention I also stand up with a cane... Order online, don't waste your time going in the store, especially that store. THIS IS THE STORE Located by STEAK AND SHAKE ON RED BUG RD, don't waste your time calling the store because you are going to be told there is a reason why i was ignored..such as "we were with customers", or "i can't change the past " or "his back was too you and he didn't hear the bell". I called the store to let them know why I left and that's what I was told by the acting manager on duty. AT&T watch out that poor customer service doesn't get you too. Very unhelpful and not willing to put forth the effort to resolve current customer problems. Went in to discuss internet options and was told to call an 800 number because they "don't deal with that" we have been coming to this location for years and never once received this type of response. We ended up driving down the road to Waterford to receive better customer service. read more

We had two door salesman tell us to reach out to AT&T to alter our plan to a faster internet speed at a discounted rate. This store told us they will not help existing customers make changes to plans and there was no way we would give more for less. I went online and did the plan adjustment myself. 60$/month for 100 speed changed to 40$/month 300 speed. In 13 months the 300 speed goes back to 60$/month. read more

Bait and Switch, sales people don't know what they're doing and give you wrong information. Shelly the district manager came to try to fix things and all she said is " Sorry" They changed our plan with the promise of new phone for $199, when we agreed to the new plan to go from unlimited to only 25GB they said oops we made a mistake and you don't qualify for a phone for $199, what?? And now it's a mess trying to get us back to our old plan which we were grandfathered in with unlimited data , after 2 hours, all we got was a case number and a sorry , our salesperson should not have told you that! OMG!!!!!!! How do I rate this store that went from one extreme to another. I guess lets start with the good. George Lopez, not the comedian, but the employee that provided AMAZING service. My phone died, and well, I needed a new one ASAP. I switched from one carrier to AT&T, got a new phone, turned on new phone, phone updated and working ... BAM!!! Amazing service. AND to top it off, went back a few days later because my girlfriend's phone died also, got to work with George AGAIN, thank you, and AMAZING service again!!! Now to the bad part. Had to go back to the store for issues concerning my girlfriend's store, and there weren't many employees working. So the AT&T store has a check-in system, where they take your name, and then your name goes up on a board, and you wait your turn. Well, we were 2nd on the list. About an hour later, we finally got service! By the time we got service, another 4 to 5 people were in line behind us. And even the "get in line" service SUCKED because they let someone cut ahead to purchase just an item. It's like having a reservation for a rental car, and finding out that now cars are available ... what is the point of a reservation?!?! But now the main reason for only 3 stars. Ben, oh Ben ... you love to talk. Ben is an AT&T employee and was helping a couple. Take it, that the couple had lots of questions, BUT Ben, you see there is a line a mile long of people. You can see people are annoyed and want service. Your answers do not have to be 10-minutes long. I don't really care about (1) your girlfriend going kayaking at Wekiva springs or (2) your thoughts about the espy awards and Jenner being given an award (3) or what apps are your favorite and how much you love to use them ... answer the questions efficiently, and MOVE ON!!!! Customer Service implies ALL customers, not just one!!!!!!!! The sad thing is that the low star count is given because of Ben and Ben didn't even attend to us, but THANK GOODNESS, because we would have been there till the morning hours!!!! read more

I myself had a bad experience with a sales woman who wasn't giving me information and confusing me and my boyfriend most the time. My daughter lost her phone while we were traveling. Every AT&T store close to home had awful reviews. We decided to start with the closest one with expectations of bad service and to end up at an Apple store. We were greeted at the door by Candace. She was wonderful! My daughter got a new phone with allot of helpful advice. We were both delighted with the great customer service she gave us. I will be going there for all my AT&T needs now. Terrible customer service. I do not trust the employees and business at AT&T. I bought my iPhone 7+ less than 1 year ago. I originally wanted a cheaper phone, but the 'water resistant' feature seemed worth the $$. I was told, "you can shower with it, get it splashed, drop it in water up to some depth (1 meter or so), and not worry about water damage." And yes, AT&T employees told me those (inaccurate) details. Now, I can't use my phone at all because of water damage, and I have never exceeded the 'wet limits' AT&T explained to me earlier this year. An hour ago I went in to this store, calmly. I was not mad, no scenes were made -- just to be clear. I'm a nice and reasonable person. I just wanted to figure out what to do. What happened: The employee rudely asked, "What do you want us to do about it?" That's inconsiderate... and, who's job is it to know what my options are? I felt expected to know my options for a phone replacement prior to coming in. I said, "I want to know what you all can do for me?" Duh. Then, the rude guy who should NEVER work with customers eventually thought to check if I had insurance.. I did! Then, he pushed me out the door with some brochure. I can't even recall if he said bye... He was a jerk. I was not offered options with the Next program, which brings the store money. I did not receive an explanation for why my expensive water resistant phone isn't actually water resistant. ... I owe a $300 deductible for a product that failed and was sold to me with a lie? But 1+ month from now without a working phone, and I'll only have to pay a $150 deductible... after paying $8.99/month for 2 yrs ($216 total).. The insurance for my failed phone from AT&T absolutely sucks too. $216 + $300 = $516 for phone now $216 + $150 = $who cares how much, you get the point. read more

I came back from a criuse to find the my data usage was suspended since I was in International waters. When I came back, I was unable to send or receive pictures. I exhausted every Avenue to try to restore data usage. I came to AT&T. Justin met me at the door. He addressed my issues and fixed them in less than 10 minutes. Wish I came here sooner. ***AVOID THIS LOCATION***Well worth the drive to Waterford Lakes****The WORST customer service!!!!!! I bought a iPhone X for $1K that was defective and stayed on 1% charge after 2 TWO days and would not charge when plugged it. This store manager (Jon W) told me it was not their problem and told me to go to the closest Apple store unless I wanted to pay his store a $45 restocking fee to return and replace it. After driving 30 min to the closest apple store, because I did not buy it from Apple they could only replace my 2 day old phone with a refurbished phone. Every apple employee was astounded of the service I was receiving from AT&T an said it was unexceptable to get a referb for a 2 day old 1K phone and AT&T should replace it. I called the store manager from the Apple store and he continued to blame Apple!!! The Apple manager even talked to Jon W unsuccessfully. It took until I told him I was coming to drop off my 4 phones, 6 directv boxes, and internet modem of and he just lost all my business, for him to tell me to come back and he would do me a special favor and "waive" the "restocking fee" to replace the broken phone they originally sold me! ATT has lost a customer forever! We originally went into the store to discuss phone upgrades. They are far more interested in ATT Internet/cable service than phones these days. We found the sales person a bit arrogant. We left, we went through the long grueling experience of switching carriers. We were told all was switched over ... now all of these months later we are still getting bills! Turns out my mini iPad that is in a drawer and dead to the world was not disconnected. Is that my fault, is that Sprints fault is that ATT? IDK but ATT is relentless with wanting full payment, will not backdate the disconnect ... even though they see when the change occurred with every other line, they will not negotiate the amount due NOTHING. I told the manager today, ATT's arrogance is what lost 30 year customers to begin with and the outcome of this call will insure I will not EVER come back. read more

Another modern day example of lame customer service. I visited this store at 7:30pm to upgrade 2 iPhones and was told that they were closing at 8:00pm and that their "system was down" and they could not access my account to help me. While I understand that you can upgrade online, I wanted to at least SEE the phones available, but they had ALL been pulled from the counters and taken to the back. When I asked why? since they were still open, the AT&T representative stated that they always do this because "this is the time of evening that they would most likely get robbed". ??!! Why even have a store front if you are not going to be able to help customers within the posted time? The employee was unfriendly and seemed "put off" that we were there to bother him. I have been an AT&T customer for more than 15 years, but am not looking for other options. Sad that large companies don't seem to care what happens at their locations. read more

I've been an AT&T Wireless customer for 20 years. I have no issues with AT&T as a company but sweet baby Jesus do I despise going to the stores. GF and I were contemplating a switch to AT&T Uverse or DirecTV due to some promotions and the fact that it recently became available in our area along with AT&T Fiber for internet. We did plenty of our own research and knew which package we wanted for either one. We were just having a hard time deciding which service to go with so we decided to ask for some expert advise. I should have went somewhere else for advice. The salesperson was utterly useless. His only answer was "well I get paid either way so you can go with either Uverse or DirecTV." W...T...F. On top of that when it came time to enroll there was some mysterious charge due that day of almost $30.00 that wasn't due if you signed up yourself online. Neither the salesperson or the manager had any explanation and said "oh, you should get credited on your first bill." Nope. I walked out, went home, and we signed up for Uverse online with no mysterious fees. The installer that showed up to do the work about 5000% better than the idiot in the store. Experiences like this are precisely why brick and mortar stores are dying and everyone buys stuff online. read more
