But i had terrible experience and I'm still trying to get everything fixed before the wedding next weekend. I dropped the dress off on 9/30. I initially said needed by 10/28 but I called back the same day and changed it to 10/24 because my mother in law was going to drive and take stuff up for us. I called on 10/22 to inquire about the status and they had to call me back like it wasn't able to be found. They called back and it had not been started yet. I said I had called back the same day it dropped it off and needed it in 2 days. Continued to argue that the ticket said 10/28. So Friday by 5pm was agreed upon. I arrive at 530 and it is still worked on. It was finished after 20 mins and tried on and the slit was not high enough so agreed to come back by 2pm the next day. I came back and the slit was perfect but I did notice the back shoulders the dress was sticking out. She was able to fix it on the spot while wearing it. But now I have another dilemma. There are several stains on the dress and now I'm having to get it dry cleaned. I'm already in a rush here. These stains were NOT there when I dropped it off. They are all over the dress. The look greasy and/or oily. You can clearly see the X where it was marked by the tailor. So now I am scrambling to get this done. I paid $187 and this is what I got. I ended up having to buy another dress overnight on Amazon and wore that. They waited to the last second to do this and it was too late and then dirty. Unacceptable. This not worth the money by a long shot. Go elsewhere. Update: they did not refund me anything or even offer to clean the dress.

I had already paid $150 for 3 dresses. When I complained he was argumentative and rude throw the receipt aggressively. He charges whatever he wants depending on the customer. Stay far away a lot better alternation places close by. He is a thief. Not a good businessman. Very unprofessional. Will be reporting this to the BBB!

Mr. Minh and his shop seemed fairly busy, but he was very kind and took his time to get me properly measured. He took into account any style preferences I had, and assured me I'd have my items back with enough time in case further tailoring needed to be done. Thankfully, the wasn't the case. My previously ill-fitting tuxedo came back flawless and perfectly fitted on the first try, turning an off the racket item into a much more expensive looking tux. Highly recommend.

I messaged several tailors through yelp after 11pm and Mr. Doan answered less than 15 minutes later with a simple "bring it over". I received messages from 2 other tailors with disclaimers that I needed to be there as soon as they open and one even told me it would be an additional 20% fee for "rush work". I arrived at Elegant Tailor & Cleaners at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Doan looked at the dress, did some quick measurements & said "what time do you need it?". I told him by 3pm he said "ok, see you at 3". I arrived back to his shop around 2:45, my dress was done and if fit perfectly. The best part of all of this was the price. I was full expecting to pay some ridiculous amount for this perfect same day work and I didn't. He did awesome work at a fair price and now he has a new customer. I bragged about him to everyone at my event later that night becuase I was really in shock at the quality or work done quickly and affordably.

It was a silk dress, not anything super thick or crazy. I also dry clean my work blazer, which costs about $20 and takes a week to get done. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. I pay for the convenience because I am walking distance from the tailor, but if you are looking for average prices I would recommend another place.
