He overcharged me for a skirt for to get altered for my daughters uniform. He made me pay $55 before then she went to pick it. It had a flare mind you it was a pencil skirt so to make it back to a pencil skirt he charged her another $35 since I wasn't there. I seen several pieces for other customers that said hemmed for $10. I had already paid $150 for 3 dresses. When I complained he was argumentative and rude throw the receipt aggressively. He charges whatever he wants depending on the customer. Stay far away a lot better alternation places close by. He is a thief. Not a good businessman. Very unprofessional. Will be reporting this to the BBB! read more

I can count on one hand the number of times I've needed to get something altered. When I needed a bridesmaid gown altered I was lost. I found M Alterations and learned that my in-laws had used this same place YEARS ago when they used to live in the area. They have expensive tastes and high standards so I felt more at ease using M. Also, I'd shopped around and M was less expensive (though still $50 just to hem my dress!!) than other places. The lady, "M" I presume, was nice. She measured me and had the dress back to me in days. *Cash or check only- they have a sign posted, but I missed it, and made a trip up there with my debit card for nothing. :-( read more

I 100x recommend. I had to get a brides maid dress altered last minute from one day to the next. While it was a tad on the expensive side it was well worth it, especially since it was so last minute. The owner and worker was very friendly and helpful and made the next day deadline with everything I needed to alter to the dress. I'm not a person that needs alterations very often, but when I do, I make my way to M Alterations. This couple is so sweet and so great at what they do. Their prices are very reasonable and they will make sure your garment is completed as soon as possible. I had them repair a shirt for me and then I completely forgot about it for 3 months. I was sure they had gotten rid of it, since their policy is only 30 days, but there it was sitting and waiting for me looking as good as new! More that just alterations. I take our little league gear in there to get the patches sewn on rather than have them come off after just 3 games and they are so quick. I have to say I was very impressed with this team. I did 3 bodybuilding competitions this year, lost roughly 30 - 43 lbs. I have several pairs of True Religion jeans and jackets that needed extreme alterations since i dropped like 3 sizes. 5 STAR REVIEW!!! This wife/husband owned business is the best tailoring store I have found yet!! I am 4 foot 11 inches and need EVERY altered! I am not sure how I found them but they are a hidden little gem in the stack of horrible alteration shops in Central FL. Trust me, I have tried them all! The kicker for me was their fast turnaround, pristine tailored lines, it looks very professionally done, and the PRICE! They are very reasonable for the level or work done. Would not go back. I went in to have two pairs of pants shortened. Simple request, or it should have been. She only shortened one side and was just going to match the other side on both pants. I told her my hips are uneven, which causes one of my legs to be a tad longer than the other. If you watch chiropractic videos on Youtube, this is actually a common problem. Only after telling her about this issue did she shorten the other pant leg as well on both pairs. Well, apparently she just hemmed both pant legs the exact same length anyway, because the left pant leg is still longer on both pants. Also, one of the pairs of pants were still too long, which was the reason in the first place for bringing them in. I should go back out of principle just to make her get it right, but now I have zero faith in her ability to do so. Total waste of my time and money. Oh, and by the way, bring cash or a checkbook. They don't take credit cards. read more

This shop is amazing. Great staff and super quick alterations. I arrived and had my new suit fitted to perfection. I didn't need the suit right away but express service was available. When I returned to pick up the suit it fit like a glove. The price was well below average for the amount of alterations required. Highly recommended. read more
