Noone had the time to fix a zipper on my granddaughters Kuromi backpack. It was a gift from her Aunt and ment alot. Had to drive to Oviedo from Orange City. The owner fixed it in 5 minutes and waited on another customer or it would have been less time. It was better than new . who ever installed the zipper originally did have the ability of SKTailoring. A zipper on a dress of mine broke, so I brought it in on a whim one day, skeptical since I've never actually been to a tailor before, and was expecting it to be too expensive to be worth it. I was proven completely wrong! They were fast to fix it, very reasonably priced, and friendly as well! I will absolutely be coming back here with any and every tailoring need I have from now on, since I know the service is top notch and affordable! Great business for tailoring. They made the alterations I needed very quickly, I was satisfied with the service. If there is something that needs to be fixed they will do their best to do it. I however would not recommend dry cleaning services with them. It is not done in house and the company they are using did not do a great job. I can't even tell that my items were dry cleaned. Had some dresses made here about a year ago which took nearly 4 months to be made from start to finish, went by the store every month to see how they was going but was always told they was busy and it would be done soon. Finally got the dresses and while expensive, and taking a long time they were beautifully made. Fast forward to the past Saturday I brought 3 dresses in just to get 3 buttons put on the neckline to stop the gap that you get on of the rack dresses. Was told they would be ready by Tuesday, Wednesday morning. Went in this afternoon (Wednesday) for the gentleman in the store to say he couldn't find them and didn't know what I was talking about. Finally after 5 mins of searching, they were found thrown in the original bag I brought them in and nothing had been done to them. Very disappointing. Maybe my communication with the owner is off, as I see all the reviews of such quick turnarounds but my experience has not been anything like that. In fact I cannot recommend this service at all. Do not come to this store if you value your time. He was over an hour late when he opened his store for me to drop off my dress. When I told my mom, she said the same thing happened to her. I picked my dress up a week later and he had randomly left the store and said he'd be back later. I was already running late so I couldn't even try on the dress to make sure it was okay. The positives to this store is that he is very accommodating and is able to give you your items back quickly. I am not sure how different alteration companies price, but I paid $70 for a bridesmaids dress to be hemmed shorter. I probably would not return to this store. read more

Excellent, reliable, fast and beautiful work! The owner is just about as sweet as they come. He was extremely accommodating to my schedule, very professional and affordable. I had a dress that needed to be customized with some difficult measurements. I live in Satellite Beach an hour away and a few other local tailors refused the job but it was no challenge for SK Tailoring whatsoever. He took it and turned it into my dream dress and even made sure there were extra hooks, reinforcements and that it was perfect before I walked out the door with it. He took care of me as if I was family. I will be happily driving the distance and bringing all of my tailoring needs to him from here on out! SK Tailoring was the only tailor open on a Sunday when I needed him for a dress shirt, and he came through with flying colors. I have a thick neck that requires me to wear shirts two sizes larger than I need, and he did everything I needed to help me look and feel amazing. I bought a dress from Dillards it came broken at the straps and was loose around the hips and unsupportive at the bust. I tried on the dress and he pointed out where in the dress he can improve when originally I was just going to fix the strap, but I noticed how he was right about all of this. He really has an good eye for fine details. My dress is for prom and was all sequins and I had bad experiences with tailors in the past so I was nervous to get it taken in. But when I try on the dress the straps, fabric taken in, and the new bra pads put in, I was shocked! The dress looked brand new like it's never been touched and it just came out looking like that. The best part is he finished it in 2-3 days! LIKE WHAT. Every place I tried for dress alterations in the past took sooo long to get ur dress or whatever ur getting altered back.
