Friendly, Reliable, and very timely service. In the past I have brought items for dry clean, everything came out crisp and pressed. This time I needed two dresses steamed, with no dry clean and no pleets. Considering the holiday, I thought it might take longer for pickup but it only took two days. The dresses were steamed perfectly, and I was able to wear one on NYE. Definitely left me happy and ready for the new year. This is a nice little dry cleaners. They open super early. It's right near my place, so it's easy to drop off some clothes and then stop off at the neighboring 7-11 for a coffee or something. They do a good job and the rates are reasonable. read more

My mother took 3 pairs of pants here to be hemmed last week and was told they would be done in a few days. When she went to pick them up, they said that they didn't do anything yet because they didn't know how short to make the hem(even know she specifically told them). She gave them a few more days to finish up the work and when she went to finally pick them up, they were poorly hemmed! They overcharged her what was originally quoted and tried to slide an "environmental fee" onto the bill. Do not go here! Bad work and overpriced! read more

These are very nice people in a convenient location, and they often do a good job. However, they keep cracking the buttons on my husband's dress shirts. The first time it happened they offered to fix it and said they knew how it happened. They fixed it by replacing the button with one that did not match. It has happened multiple times since then, and so we are now looking for a new dry cleaner. Addendum: We tried another cleaner and they were not friendly. So we went back to Spencer and begged them to stop cracking buttons, which they did. And we have been loyal ever since. They are very friendly and always remember our preferences. read more

I dropped off 4 shirts for alteration and after TWO months and 10 visits my shirts are still not finished. I asked to talk to the owner and the ladies gave me the run around. Turns out the owner operates another shop and is rarely in town so the employees do whatever they want. In addition I dropped off a clean shirt to be pressed and when I got it back there were 14 small rectangles burned into the fabric. I have not had my money refunded, the ladies working there didn't seem to care, and it was almost impossible to talk to anyone in charge... I will never use them again!!! read more

I'm fairly new to the neighborhood and brought my clothes to Spencer Dry Cleaning for the second time. When I stopped to pick them up they could not find them after searching for an hour. My ticket said they would be ready on this date and time. The poor woman eventually had to call the manager, Dipti. I had to wait another 20 minutes for Dipti to find my clothes, which still needed to be pressed. She asked me to return the next day, which is when I needed to wear the clothes for a meeting. When I returned the next morning they were ready, but there was no attempt by Dipti to address the poor service. She expected me to pay full price for my roughly 2 hours of wasted time. Only after I ask for some consideration did she offer 10% off. For being "the manager" she certainly doesn't act like one or have the authority to make key decisions for the sake of keeping customers happy. Won't be returning to them. read more

This dry cleaner is terrible. I took 2 brand new dresses in (for my son's wedding and for rehearsal dinner). They were in plastic and both had tags on, but had hung in my closet in plastic for at least a month and wanted to have skirts steamed/pressed. He refused, saying he didn't know if I'd worn them. Later the same afternoon he did steam dress and pants for my family from CA and the wedding dress for my daughter in law. Said he wouldn't do mine because he "didn't know me"! Didn't know them either!!! For some reason I decided to give him another chance, and a week later took rehearsal dinner dress in, (which had a stain from the dinner) to be cleaned. This time he said "can't be done because the tags say Professional spot clean only". Isn't that exactly why you would take it to a cleaners? I left in disgust and went to another cleaners who greeted me with a smile, cleaned my dress with no issue and returned it looking brand new. The person I dealt with (assume it was owner) was unprofessional and argumentative and my family will never consider using them in the future. read more

I have used this cleaner twice. The first time was for a trouser hemming. It was so badly done that I went back, and they did it again correctly at no charge. I then brought in a shirt. The job was marginal at best. I will not use their services again. read more

This Cleaners USED TO BE DECENT.......NOT ANYMORE. DO NOT GO HERE. This business was sold a couple of years ago, and is now owned by Ajay and Dipti Patel. Nobody there will ever admit to being the owner, and the workers will tell you they live out of town. They don't...... This place has ruined several really nice and expensive pieces of my wife's clothes, and they wont do anything about it. They admit that they did it, but won't offer anything to remedy the situation, or pay anything for the clothes. I have sent email, called and gone there in person, and no action taken on their part. I have tried now for a couple of months to get them to address this , and as stated in the other posting, the ladies that work there give you the run around . No call back, no return email. Before you go....think about, if you want to give them something worth several hundred dollars for the 4 bucks they will charge to clean it......with no chance that if they screw it up, they will fix it, or pay for the garment that they ruined. I recently moved to Delaney Park, and Spencer is the closest cleaners. The staff is polite and helpful, and the quality of their work is good. It is ever so slightly expensive, but not terribly so. Overall a solid choice, though not outstanding. read more

Not at all pleased with the service or the follow-up. On a recent visit to this drycleaner I confirmed my usual request for heavy starch for my business shirts. To my chagrin they are very slow and incompletely done. Hardly any starch and the sign on the wall and web listings states they are open until 7 pm, but quickly shut the lights off by 6. If you call to voice concern they could care less about you and your problems. Because they are simply that: your problem. Sorry Spencer, you are not worth the cost or inconvenience. read more

So disappointing, I used to go to this dry cleaner a long time ago even with my parents. I went to get some thing cleaned for my trip for Labor Day, when I went to pick up everyone seemed very confused about my clothes. I was in the store for 15 minutes until they had my stuff ready for me. I had made a request to replace a button on my pants as well as one on my husbands shirt. Neither of them completed so on our way up to North Carolina I had to do sewing that I PAID for to get done and the clothes smelled very bad like mold. I had a red stain on my blouse that wasn't on it when I left it. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge, I asked to speak with the owner and was told he doesn't even come in to work! Actually he doesn't even live in Orlando is what I found out! Its a shame once a great place now is very poorly run. They did not to seem to be very busy, I could tell the economy was hurting them as the clothes racks they had were almost empty, I would have thought I would get even better service now but that wasn't the case.
