While I was there, I met Lisa. We discussed iphones in general and after speaking with her for a little while, I found myself ordering a new phone! I wasn't there to get a phone for me ,but Lisa provided great information and a low-pressure sales pitch that convinced me I should go ahead and get a new phone. I can't say enough about her knowledge and expertise. She was friendly and helpful. Although she was much younger than me, we connected on a level I wasn't expecting. When my phone arrived, I took it to her and she downloaded/transferred all my data and generally cleaned up my phone. She was a professional and such a pleasure to deal with, I felt I had to write a review to let you know what a valuable employee you have with Lisa. Please let her know how much I appreciate what she did for my sister and me. I'm VERY happy with my new iphone!

I spoke with her, and then I reached back out to complete the change. She advised me that someone from her department would contact me. That was over two weeks ago. I have called and sent emails. I received an email from her manager stating someone would contact me. I explained I had been told this over two weeks ago. The manager at the executive level couldn't care less! She emailed me saying someone would contact me but couldn't give me a timeline. The level of service is disappointing and, at best, stagnant. What's sad is that this is their escalations department? People who are supposed to handle issues when all else fails. It makes sense now, because the horrid service trickles down from the top. It's been two weeks, and it could be an additional two or more weeks before anyone contacts me, if they ever do. I would think long and hard before switching to T-Mobile. Any other big communication company would value you more! They literally couldn't care less!

I was urged by staff to purchase the Blend pen, with a lot of pressure about what a "great device" it was and that the promo "wouldn't last." Against my better judgment, I went ahead with the purchase. When I opened the box, the pen had a broken connection and was completely faulty. Even the staff couldn't get it to work. Despite this, they refused to give me a replacement or a refund. They insisted they had a policy against accessories being returned or exchanged, regardless of it being defective. Instead, I was immediately told to take my receipt and email the manufacturer for help. I explained that I only bought it because of their hard push and just wanted to return it, but was met with a defensive, combative attitude that made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The lack of basic customer service was shocking. To make things worse, when I contacted the manufacturer, I was told I could get mailed an exchange at my expense or that refunds must go through the retailer--the dispensary that sold it to me. So essentially I was left with no options, a broken product, and a loss on my purchase and then had to come out more to make it right. This experience has completely tainted my view of this location, and honestly, maybe the entire chain. I urge anyone considering shopping here to find another dispensary that actually stands behind what they sell and treats customers with respect.

I went there 8 weeks ago to get a part for my Electrolux vacuum as they are listed as an authorized service center. He said he'd follow up with me in a couple of days after he spoke with the local rep because online ordering wasn't available for the part. I waited a couple of days and called him back because I hadn't heard from him. He said he forgot about me and would immediately take care of it. I waited the balance of the 6 weeks and still I've heard nothing. Today, I called again and his wife couldn't locate my information in their system and said there was no open ticket. When she finally located my business card which I had left she said that her husband was still waiting on the local rep to call him. When I was in the store he spoke poorly about the Electrolux brand and suggested I just replace the vacuum. So today I called Electrolux and poof in less than three minutes they've got the part being sent overnight to me. When I explained what I had experienced with the local rep they said that they would address that poor service. So because I do follow up with people and didn't want to waste Irby's time, I called back to tell them I had been helped with my part by Electrolux. I went on to explain I was very disappointed in their service or lack there of, so the wife Jennifer put me on with the husband Johnny who said I wasn't in their system because he had ordered the part by phone and was waiting for it to come in. That story differs from the wife's initially claim which was that the rep still hadn't called them. REGARDLESS of which story is right, these folks had no follow up or follow through. As a customer they should have called me to update me. Driving from Windermere or any where else for these folks is a waste of time.

Now, this does not change the fact that the situation created obvious setbacks that I still have to deal with; but, it does show that Walmart does care for their customers and a case of negligence due to one employee does not speak for the company customer care in general. I will continue to use Walmart and am very grateful for their understanding that issues like these can hurt their image among the public. Thank you again, Walmart, for your understanding.
