Sebastián, one of the store associates, was able to set up wireless home internet for my elderly mother while I coordinated everything by phone. He was exceptionally kind, even waiting for her after the store closed at 8 PM. He also made sure the device was working and ready to use, so she only needed to plug it in when she got home. Excellent customer service. read more

Extremely disappointing customer service I went into this store once expecting a manager to contact me regarding an issue, and I have followed up by phone every day since. Each time I call, I'm told that the manager is either "in a meeting" or unavailable. I have repeatedly been told that the manager would call me back, yet I still have not received a single call. What makes this even more frustrating is the attitude of some of the employees. When I asked for the district manager's name or email so I could escalate my concerns, the employees became defensive and combative instead of simply providing the information or helping me get in contact with someone who could address my concerns. I shouldn't have to call every single day just to get a basic response from management. The lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has been extremely disappointing. At this point, I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Customer service should not be this difficult. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. read more

I have been a customer with AT&T for close to 30 years. Had a business with upwards of 30 phones of the employees that worked for me and all in all it was a pretty good experience with a very large company. Until yesterday My wife paid our regular bill as we always do on time and somehow it didn't register. AT&T said we hadn't paid it. This was all over the phone. We went through the process of calling them and they said no you need to go to a store Went to our closest store on Tustin and Katella. try as they may, over an hour. They couldn't get it fixed. But they were very polite and CustomerService driven. They told us we needed to go to the store on Main Street in Orange as that was the Main office for the local AT&T stores My wife went into the store and the clerk named Johnnie met her. Said she needed some help with a bill she paid My wife shared her problem and her journey and said she needed some help and Johnny absolutely right out of the gate said Oh no, we can't help you with any billing problems We cant help you with that bill problem Can't?? Johnny you don't say can't right out of the gate. Acknowledge the problem say you're sorry that the customer is going through it. Let me see what I can do. Can't help you. My wife said she would cancel all of her AT&T DIRECTV everything else with AT&T. And what did Johnny say? Go ahead For a company as large as AT&T the idea that they cannot teach CustomerService for a customer who's been around for many many years. It's absolutely unthinkable. To sum up; the worst CustomerService, my wife has ever experienced and it's unacceptable and we will be closing our account with AT&T after more than 30 read more

We have had the most difficult & disappointing experience. Individually, each person is sweet, but the manager made us wait over an hour to do a return that was not our fault. It's a huge mess, and i am very close to taking my business elsewhere. read more

AT&T Store - seems like this is my new home! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Orange, California

Came here to exchange an upgraded phone. Tried multiple times because I've always been able to receive this help in store. The rep kept claiming there was absolutely no way this could be handled in person and I had to call and mail my phone back then wait for a new one. So I left and did what he said.. every avenue told me I needed to go back in store to do this. Now I have to drive to find a new location with someone who will actually help me. read more

My family are long time customers of AT&T (15+ years) This review is LONG overdue. Each time we've ever had to change or adjust our plans it end up taking several hours of ours days. To the point where we now have to set a specific time and date to go. This visit in particular consisted of me needing to get my username for our online account. That's it's. We've been considering switching to a different phone carrier and this is the last straw that broke the camel's back. Over the years we endured: latency issues, pricing issues, inaccessible services, and most important poor customer service. I went in and initially spoke to Jose. After speaking with him I apparently did not have the proper authority to execute such plan, and after calling over who did, we proceeded to wait a minimum of 45 mins, until someone was able to help us again (after we were skipped because other people were trying to make a payment which ultimately did not work and another employee argued with a paying customer). Furthermore, Jose came out (who which left in the middle of assisting me to take his lunch) and was finally able to help us with what we needed. Which did not take more than 10mins. We expressed our concern and frustration with AT&T's phones services & customer services and he only seemed to help his own wallet by giving us offers that would 'help' our situation. In conclusion, AT&T has created long and winded processes to ensure that they force their customers to stay, provide horrible customer experiences, and poor service performances. If you were thinking of leaving AT&T as a phone provider take this as your sign to do so. read more

Yesterday, my husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Jessica Hernandez, an employee of this S. Main St., Orange, CA, AT&T store. We went to the Brea Mall to purchase Apple Watches specifically for the watches' fall detection and other emergency contact features. We intended to connect our new watches with our existing AT&T wireless account that provides service to our iPhones. Jessica had been assigned at random yesterday to an AT&T kiosk in the Brea Mall. After we bought our watches, my husband and I connected with Jessica at the kiosk. Over the next several hours, Jessica diligently and expertly connected our phones to our AT&T wireless service, overcoming unexpected obstacles. This came about as follows: Jessica first connected my watch to the service. She then tried unsuccessfully to connect my husband's watch to the service. After many tries to establish the connection, and after working directly with Apple employees at the Apple Store, Jessica was able to establish that my husband's new watch was defective, and we were able to replace the watch on the spot. Before we could connect my husband's new watch to the AT&T service, it was already after 7:00 p.m., and Jessica's shift was over, and she left to go home. Then, amazingly, just a few minutes later, Jessica voluntarily walked back into the Apple Store, sat down and proceeded to go through all the steps necessary to connect my husband's watch to our AT&T service. We were completely blown away by Jessica's amazing diligence, skill, patience, and excellent customer service skills, over the 3-4 hours all this took. Even the Apple employees were amazed at her dedication to representing AT&T at the highest possible level. Here is the bottom line: Jessica Hernandez is a highly skilled, professional, dedicated AT&T representative who served us with consummate courtesy and patience. She provides great value to AT&T, and we urge AT&T to strongly consider her for future opportunities in the company. Judy and Luis Ortiz, Orange, CA read more

My husband and I have had AT&T cell phones forever. All was good until my husband died. !st, I couldn't turn in his phone until I made sure I didn't need it-passwords-pictures-contacts. Then there is the emotional issue of turning it in. Then, I went to a convenient location after a trip to the doctor, I was told I needed a copy of his death cert and the copy on my phone was not acceptable. Then, I brought the certificate to a location near me and was told that I needed to go to a "corporate" store. Nowhere is the online location detectors is there a indication of which stores are corporate and which stores are "sales" only locations. So, I go back to the store near my doctor's office with the death certificate and Derrick is a brand new location manager that does not have his new "permissions" to facilitate my request. Then, I go back and Derrick is in a meeting. I wait 20-30 minutes because he is the only one with "permissions". After 42 minutes in the building, we finally have the return processed. Since I am a senior, I asked him about his senior plan and took a couple of unwanted charges off my monthly bill. We agreed that my new monthly bill would be $39.45 for purchase of my phone, $50.00 per month in phone charges including unlimited talk and text and data usage without upgrade and insurance fees and about $10.00 in fees and taxes. Then, I receive the updated bill from AT&T online and it's $124.23 monthly. I texted Derrick last week asking for reason that the bill is 25% higher than expected. NO REPLY. Do not trust AT&T. Their word is no good but the actual reception is good. read more

The problem with wireless phones is how complicated they are to change, upgrade, and adjust plans. It's amazing how easy it is to do it online, but in person takes what seems like forever. The problem with doing it online is they love all that fine print that know you'll miss, and then get more money out of you for some obscure detail you agreed to. At least in person, you can ask specific questions, in my case, over and over again to ensure you're getting the deal you want. This location is a corporate store, which we found out can do more than no corporate stores. For example, only a corporate store can convert an account to a prepaid phone account, which is what we wanted to do. In fact, you can't even do that over the phone. The store was busy when we arrived but were greeted fairly quickly when they took our name. They were honest and said it would be 30-45 minutes. Ouch! (See the first paragraph on why). We actually had a couple of other employees come up to make sure we were being helped. It was actually closer to the 30-minute mark which was nice. The person helping us was very friendly and I felt truly wanted to get our accounts set up right. (We were splitting a shared plan with 2 phones into separate accounts. Sadly, ATT only offered the best deals on a 4 phone plan. Doing the math, and based on our usage, it was cheaper to go back to each phone having its own plan. Messed up right? But that's AT&T, not the employees of this store.) It took about 30 minutes, with the employee having to ask a couple of "how do we do that" questions, but we ended up leaving with exactly what we wanted. Checking the accounts a couple of days later, they are set up properly with (so far) no issues. read more

AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - Orange, California

I had a very frustrating experience with AT&T. An employee installed my screen protector incorrectly, and it started lifting shortly after. When I returned to the store to get it fixed, I was told I would have to pay again--even though it was clearly their employee's mistake. On top of that, I was originally told that three of our phones were eligible for an upgrade, but when we actually went to AT&T, we were told something completely different. The lack of consistency, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable. I should not be receiving different information from the same company. Very disappointed and would not recommend. read more

So this wasn't at the actual location, but I saw about 5 to 7 AT&T employees from this location were all having lunch at Chick-fil-A down the street and I was waiting for my food with my kids, 5 & 7, and these young employees where loud, obnoxious, and dropping the F bomb for everyone in the restaurant to hear. Not a good way to represent AT&T, especially wearing the business T-shirt for everyone to see. Just embarrassing and rude. read more

I came here to purchase a new iPhone X Max and Syed Mubariz helped my boyfriend and I. He was quick and efficient and ensured me he did not alter my service but that I had only purchased a new device which is what I wanted over the finance plan they offer which would be added to my monthly bill. I also wanted to buy a pop socket and a phone case (otter box).. that's it! He said he would discount my case and throw in a free glass screen protector so I said for sure. After the transaction was done and I had signed the small window on the credit card machine. He failed to give me a receipt so I requested one he said it was in my email..... I asked if he could print one and he said it would be in my email... so then I was sent on my way with an old device with no service and then my new device which I was not logged into any internet on.... It was late and this was hours later so I went home.. Fast forward to me finding out that this sketch artist added the most expensive insurance plan. Double changed me an upgrade / activate fee to the tune of $30. Did not discount my phone case. And charged me the full price for the screen protector. This guy clearly got paid commission and I seriously have to wonder how many people he does this to.. I caught on quickly and called at&t to get the charges reversed that I could. I then tried to make several attempts at contacting this location by phone.. the one time I got through to an associate I requested a call back from a manager who never called me... disappointing to say the least. Could you believe when I went in person this "manager" said that he tried to call me - which was total bullshit.. no message left either. Hmm interesting. AT&T you need to figure out what you're doing at this location. I had to go out of my way to finally get some type of resolution which was the store reaccrediting me $60. I have yet to see next months bill so will update when this is paid out. Literally borderline fraud. read more

Went in to resolve a bill problem. They can't do anything there at all! Luckily the woman that tried to help me had a mask on. The other employees were coughing and sneezing. No mask. I luckily had a mask on so I hope I don't get sick. Had to disinfect my license and paperwork. My problem was not resolved. Had to call the ATT number on the bill. I tried this the previous day only to have them call me back after waiting 4 hours. The call back said " we are returning your call but we are closed. Call tomorrow "!! They cashed my check and claim it never went through even though I have a physical copy from my bank with their deposit on the back! Do not use this company! read more

The staff took customers who did not have appointments before our family, with an appointment. And left us waiting a significant amount of time after the appointment. The past week has been super stressful because of this AT&T store. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the manger Ben, and one of the employees, Sam. Long story short, I was being charged for a line I was not using and a new iPhone 11 that I physically did not have in my possession! That's $700!! And it was a mistake that I caught and had I not mentioned it nothing would've been done. They showed no sympathy for the inconvenience and for the mistakes they made. They did not resolve any of the issues they caused. I had to call AT&T and work with a representative who actually cared and helped me get out of this crazy situation!! I wish I looked this AT&T on Yelp beforehand; looks like they're terrible with customer service and now I'm wondering if I was a part of an attempted scam!! Ugh! read more

-As of last week, there is not even one ad in Spanish from what I could recall. I bought two iphones from here recently, one for myself and one for my girlfriend. I bought my phone from Jesus, he was very knowledgable and polite. I forgot the rep who helped out w/ my girl's phone but he was also very helpful and polite as well. Store is very clean, and they even have a waiting list for when it gets a bit busy. Very efficient. This was the closest AT&T I could reach by Chapman when I needed to upgrade my phone sooner than I had planned - my old LG Neon died on me and I needed a new phone immediately. I was greeted at the door immediately upon entering and a clerk notified a sales representative to help me pick out a new phone. Originally, I wanted the LG Phoenix since it included a touch screen and a keyboard which would give me a chance to transition to the idea of a touch screen without losing the keyboard I was used to. However, they were all out of them in the store since it was an older model. Alphonso was able to show me other options like the iPhone 4, HTC, and others so I knew what was available. Eventually I settled on an iPhone 4 and the transaction was quick and I was out the door with my new phone in hand. I wish the SIM card in my old phone hadn't remembered a limited number of my contacts because it was obnoxious trying to recontact people for their numbers again. That minor issue aside, I'm happy with my new phone and was pleasantly surprised that I had such great service. read more

Most un-ethical sales practices and worst customer service ever. Let's start with Virginia Youngblood AT&T in home service specialist and the manager at this location. She came to our house to switch us from Verizon to AT&T since we were getting direct TV. Regret ever getting at&t the cell reception is terrible. At the time there was a promotion for a free iPad of you paid the taxes and got a data plan for 10.00 a month. There was an issue while setting up the iPad at our house and she had to close out the new iPad order and reorder a new one same day. I have my cell tv and internet all on one bill with the exception of this iPad that I thought was placed on this one bill and had a 45.00 activation fee that was not linked to my bill that bundled everything. She said the 45.00 would fall offf and she would do something called an RSM case and I would do have to worry. A year later I go to find I have 45.00 in collections for this activation charge that was never placed on my main bill. It was some how unlinked to the main bill and it was separated. None the less it had to do with at&t setup system along with human error all together. Called customer service will no luck for them to admit fault nor to resolve the issues. Wouldn't recommend this un-ethical sales practices from AT&T let's not forget there bogus scam they tried to label fake 5g and the fcc had to stop them/ let's not forget the direct tv now sales practices from 2 years ago they had. It's like there Wells Fargo. read more
