Came here to exchange an upgraded phone. Tried multiple times because I've always been able to receive this help in store. The rep kept claiming there was absolutely no way this could be handled in person and I had to call and mail my phone back then wait for a new one. ATT broke their contract by selling new a new phone yay was actually REFURBISHED AND TIED TO TMOBILE. PHONE has never worked properly and ATT insisted I spend numerous hours working with tech support. Now I am being charged over $200. To get a replacement. My family are long time customers of AT&T (15+ years) This review is LONG overdue. Each time we've ever had to change or adjust our plans it end up taking several hours of ours days. To the point where we now have to set a specific time and date to go. This visit in particular consisted of me needing to get my username for our online account. That's it's. We've been considering switching to a different phone carrier and this is the last straw that broke the camel's back. Over the years we endured: latency issues, pricing issues, inaccessible services, and most important poor customer service. I went in and initially spoke to Jose. After speaking with him I apparently did not have the proper authority to execute such plan, and after calling over who did, we proceeded to wait a minimum of 45 mins, until someone was able to help us again (after we were skipped because other people were trying to make a payment which ultimately did not work and another employee argued with a paying customer). Furthermore, Jose came out (who which left in the middle of assisting me to take his lunch) and was finally able to help us with what we needed. Which did not take more than 10mins. We expressed our concern and frustration with AT&T's phones services & customer services and he only seemed to help his own wallet by giving us offers that would 'help' our situation. In conclusion, AT&T has created long and winded processes to ensure that they force their customers to stay, provide horrible customer experiences, and poor service performances. If you were thinking of leaving AT&T as a phone provider take this as your sign to do so. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with AT&T. An employee installed my screen protector incorrectly, and it started lifting shortly after. When I returned to the store to get it fixed, I was told I would have to pay again--even though it was clearly their employee's mistake. On top of that, I was originally told that three of our phones were eligible for an upgrade, but when we actually went to AT&T, we were told something completely different. The lack of consistency, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable. I should not be receiving different information from the same company. The problem with wireless phones is how complicated they are to change, upgrade, and adjust plans. It's amazing how easy it is to do it online, but in person takes what seems like forever. The problem with doing it online is they love all that fine print that know you'll miss, and then get more money out of you for some obscure detail you agreed to. At least in person, you can ask specific questions, in my case, over and over again to ensure you're getting the deal you want. This location is a corporate store, which we found out can do more than no corporate stores. For example, only a corporate store can convert an account to a prepaid phone account, which is what we wanted to do. In fact, you can't even do that over the phone. The store was busy when we arrived but were greeted fairly quickly when they took our name. They were honest and said it would be 30-45 minutes. Ouch! (See the first paragraph on why). We actually had a couple of other employees come up to make sure we were being helped. It was actually closer to the 30-minute mark which was nice. The person helping us was very friendly and I felt truly wanted to get our accounts set up right. (We were splitting a shared plan with 2 phones into separate accounts. Sadly, ATT only offered the best deals on a 4 phone plan. Doing the math, and based on our usage, it was cheaper to go back to each phone having its own plan. Messed up right? But that's AT&T, not the employees of this store.) It took about 30 minutes, with the employee having to ask a couple of "how do we do that" questions, but we ended up leaving with exactly what we wanted. Checking the accounts a couple of days later, they are set up properly with (so far) no issues. read more

So this wasn't at the actual location, but I saw about 5 to 7 AT&T employees from this location were all having lunch at Chick-fil-A down the street and I was waiting for my food with my kids, 5 & 7, and these young employees where loud, obnoxious, and dropping the F bomb for everyone in the restaurant to hear. Not a good way to represent AT&T, especially wearing the business T-shirt for everyone to see. Just embarrassing and rude. read more

Went in to resolve a bill problem. They can't do anything there at all! Luckily the woman that tried to help me had a mask on. The other employees were coughing and sneezing. No mask. I luckily had a mask on so I hope I don't get sick. Had to disinfect my license and paperwork. My problem was not resolved. Had to call the ATT number on the bill. I tried this the previous day only to have them call me back after waiting 4 hours. The call back said " we are returning your call but we are closed. Call tomorrow "!! They cashed my check and claim it never went through even though I have a physical copy from my bank with their deposit on the back! Do not use this company! read more

I came here to purchase a new iPhone X Max and Syed Mubariz helped my boyfriend and I. He was quick and efficient and ensured me he did not alter my service but that I had only purchased a new device which is what I wanted over the finance plan they offer which would be added to my monthly bill. I also wanted to buy a pop socket and a phone case (otter box).. that's it! He said he would discount my case and throw in a free glass screen protector so I said for sure. After the transaction was done and I had signed the small window on the credit card machine. He failed to give me a receipt so I requested one he said it was in my email..... I asked if he could print one and he said it would be in my email... so then I was sent on my way with an old device with no service and then my new device which I was not logged into any internet on.... It was late and this was hours later so I went home.. Fast forward to me finding out that this sketch artist added the most expensive insurance plan. Double changed me an upgrade / activate fee to the tune of $30. Did not discount my phone case. And charged me the full price for the screen protector. This guy clearly got paid commission and I seriously have to wonder how many people he does this to.. I caught on quickly and called at&t to get the charges reversed that I could. I then tried to make several attempts at contacting this location by phone.. the one time I got through to an associate I requested a call back from a manager who never called me... disappointing to say the least. Could you believe when I went in person this "manager" said that he tried to call me - which was total bullshit.. no message left either. Hmm interesting. AT&T you need to figure out what you're doing at this location. I had to go out of my way to finally get some type of resolution which was the store reaccrediting me $60. I have yet to see next months bill so will update when this is paid out. Literally borderline fraud. read more

My Mother has been having a terrible time changing from old phone to new phone, and after trying 2 other AT&T stores she finally made it to this location. Frank helped my Mom today on his first day of being Manager and he knocked it out of the park. He was patient and kind and successfully changed phones for her. The staff took customers who did not have appointments before our family, with an appointment. And left us waiting a significant amount of time after the appointment. As a business account, this is not a good practice. I highly recommend doing anything you can online; and avoid coming in the store. The past week has been super stressful because of this AT&T store. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the manger Ben, and one of the employees, Sam. Long story short, I was being charged for a line I was not using and a new iPhone 11 that I physically did not have in my possession! That's $700!! And it was a mistake that I caught and had I not mentioned it nothing would've been done. They showed no sympathy for the inconvenience and for the mistakes they made. They did not resolve any of the issues they caused. I had to call AT&T and work with a representative who actually cared and helped me get out of this crazy situation!! I wish I looked this AT&T on Yelp beforehand; looks like they're terrible with customer service and now I'm wondering if I was a part of an attempted scam!! Ugh! read more

I previously spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue and what do you know... Christian fixed it within minutes. Heres what I learned... She was so customer service oriented that it made me feel better after breaking my new phone. -As of last week, there is not even one ad in Spanish from what I could recall. I bought two iphones from here recently, one for myself and one for my girlfriend. Both times I came here, the service was excellent, and we chitchatted back and forth about the different features, about the Droid, about good restaurants in the area, etc. while they were setting us up. I bought my phone from Jesus, he was very knowledgable and polite. I forgot the rep who helped out w/ my girl's phone but he was also very helpful and polite as well. Store is very clean, and they even have a waiting list for when it gets a bit busy. Very efficient. The girl's phone started acting up, so we went back there and the rep told us to bring the box and they would exchange it out on the spot, now that is service muy bueno. A++ read more

Most un-ethical sales practices and worst customer service ever. Let's start with Virginia Youngblood AT&T in home service specialist and the manager at this location. She came to our house to switch us from Verizon to AT&T since we were getting direct TV. Regret ever getting at&t the cell reception is terrible. At the time there was a promotion for a free iPad of you paid the taxes and got a data plan for 10.00 a month. There was an issue while setting up the iPad at our house and she had to close out the new iPad order and reorder a new one same day. I have my cell tv and internet all on one bill with the exception of this iPad that I thought was placed on this one bill and had a 45.00 activation fee that was not linked to my bill that bundled everything. She said the 45.00 would fall offf and she would do something called an RSM case and I would do have to worry. A year later I go to find I have 45.00 in collections for this activation charge that was never placed on my main bill. It was some how unlinked to the main bill and it was separated. None the less it had to do with at&t setup system along with human error all together. Called customer service will no luck for them to admit fault nor to resolve the issues. Wouldn't recommend this un-ethical sales practices from AT&T let's not forget there bogus scam they tried to label fake 5g and the fcc had to stop them/ let's not forget the direct tv now sales practices from 2 years ago they had. This was the closest AT&T I could reach by Chapman when I needed to upgrade my phone sooner than I had planned - my old LG Neon died on me and I needed a new phone immediately. I was greeted at the door immediately upon entering and a clerk notified a sales representative to help me pick out a new phone. Originally, I wanted the LG Phoenix since it included a touch screen and a keyboard which would give me a chance to transition to the idea of a touch screen without losing the keyboard I was used to. However, they were all out of them in the store since it was an older model. Alphonso was able to show me other options like the iPhone 4, HTC, and others so I knew what was available. Eventually I settled on an iPhone 4 and the transaction was quick and I was out the door with my new phone in hand. I wish the SIM card in my old phone hadn't remembered a limited number of my contacts because it was obnoxious trying to recontact people for their numbers again. That minor issue aside, I'm happy with my new phone and was pleasantly surprised that I had such great service. read more

He had all the scoop about our options and helped my friend calm down. He helped us with all our questions. Now into a new iPhone 6s with a case. I've been around att for years and this guy was one of the best ever. The help: very friendly and helpful even under bad situations. Even brought us water and charged our other phone while at the help table. Parking- lots ! Haha. Plenty Hours are on the website usually open at 10am And open on Sunday. We feel very well handled and pleased with Jon. In fact I'm going to send my sister to him. He handled everything we needed and helped us pick out a good case for the iPhone- great right? Hate to leave bad reviews but the service here is unbelievably HORRIBLE!!! No knowledge of products and services. When asked if they have a certain accessory their response was "I don't know, go check over there." SERIOUSLY???!!! Customers waiting to be helped had to be placed on the waiting list for employees standing around or talking to the Samsung vendor. Worst example of customer service I have seen in a long time. And this is suppose to be a corporate store. I received way better help from the authorized retail store on Tustin and Katella. It has been this way the last 3 times I've stepped in this store so I can't say it's an isolated incident unfortunately. read more

I had gone to another corp store for help with my home cell service device and they couldn't get it to work. Before giving up and throwing it out, I decided to give this location a try. I'm so glad I did. I was helped by the store manager, Giovanny, and he quickly saw the reason why the other store couldn't activate the device. Although he couldn't activate it either, he didn't give up like the other store. He contacted a support person on the phone and quickly got my problem resolved! Thank you! read more

A salesman came to our house. The deal was too good to pass up. 3 new iphones 13, monthly savings of $40 and $750 in Visa gift cards. well, guess what....The first month the bill was $60 higher than guarantee ($10 higher than Verizon) and the 3 gift cards that were suppose to be here in 4-6 weeks have yet to materialize & no one at ATT has any record of them being ordered. After numerous calls to the ATT help line, I visited a local store who said they can't do anything, I would have to go to a corporate store. Guess what? Corporate couldn't help me either. I spoke to the help line again, this time the call was 1 hour, 8 minutes. She tried to help but was unsuccessful. 18 years with Verizon and was I stupid to try and save some money. read more

Typically, I have fairly low (and I mean LOOOOWWW) standards when I walk into any phone store. The employees are usually of the DGAF type and couldn't care less if you were on fire. These statements are based on personal experiences over the years and I've had enough negative encounters with phone store staff to have developed a strong aversion to these places, so when I decided to come here, I was prepared for a fairly aggravating visit. Walking in, I was surprised by the cleanliness and and orderliness of the store. Everything was situated squarely with very few items at a skew. The floor wasn't covered with trash and the music playing wasn't offensively loud. I was promptly greeted by Sandra who gave me solid eye contact and addressed my questions directly. She didn't try to sell me anything but didn't brush me off either. Her work was very fast and she presented me with what I requested and took care of it in the store in less than ten minutes. I was so pleased with her professionalism that I spent more time in the store and bought a couple items that I normally wouldn't have considered. There's no guarantee that she'll be there when and if I return, but on my one visit, I got lucky and I at least have one visit to an ATT store that didn't result in me wondering, "How the hell did you get hired and how the hell have you not been fired?"
