This store was absolutely terrible. We have been longtime customers at. We wanted to upgrade our phones today. We went into the store. I inquired about one of the specials that they were having the lady had no knowledge of it at all. Every question I asked she gave me an answer that was not true. A gentleman which I would assume would've been the store manager came over, started talking to her. She still was unsure and giving him the wrong information as to what we needed. I told him at that point we're going to another location. He said OK. Have a great day. Poor poor management, letting a longtime customer walk out the door and not try to make things right SMH. I was planning to go to a store but thought that maybe I could get help over the phone but I was on the phone for one hour and twenty four minutes with a representative who could not help me and told me thatbi needed to go to a store so I did. I went to this location and was told that they do not assist customers with technical issues, they "just sell phones". Well damn, Amazon sells them too but I came to a store under the name of my service provider only to be told that. What in the ever living hell is that about? I can go to Best Buy or order a phone on Amazon if I wanted to just buy one. I have no idea how to get technical help with my phone now. I will NEVER go there to buy a phone. When I say everyone here was so friendly and helpful, I mean it! There wasn't an unhappy worker in this store. It felt like everyone here truly enjoyed their job and it made the experience so easy. I recently came in to trade in my old, heavily damaged iPhone 14 Pro. I walked out with a new iPhone 16 Pro about 1-2 hrs later and extremely happy with the customer service here. Huge shoutout to RJ and DJ, who helped me through the data transfer process. The ladies who were also on shift were very friendly. I don't come in to AT&T much - only when I've upgraded my cell phone and I need help setting it up. But every time I've come in the staff has been friendly and patient. They're knowledgeable and are willing to walk you through every step when it comes to switching from one cell phone to the next. I think the only qualm I have is they will pitch and try to upsell you. I understand they're in retail - selling is a part of their job description. But I only come in with a specific agenda, and if it doesn't already include listening to the latest features and services they offer, then I don't really want to hear it. The good thing is they don't beat you over the head with sales pitches - they're slick enough to wait for an opening. But yeah, I really don't need 15 extra lines for the price of one line. In the end, I just give the person helping me a, "I'll look into it," which actually means, "Sorry, I'm not interested." Regardless, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and, even if you're a complete imbecile and know nothing about electronics, they will help get you to the point where you can do basic cell phone tasks. I recommend them, even if they're not your carrier, because they know how most cell phones operate. JV read more

AT&T charges $5 for a history of a bill. Per bill is $5. It took me a whole afternoon on hold, and finally got a supervisor and a manager to discuss other issues with my service and getting bills from 2015 and on for a legal case. The manager said because I upgraded he send me the bills for no charge! This was after he upgraded my service plan. The TEXT MESSAGE SAID from AT&T said, " Your request is complete for bills from 2015-2019." Once I looked for them on my APP and in the mail they never came. I phoned back, and they said there was never any record of my request! I asked again and the top manager said the person is no longer with them so somehow that made it all OK. She specifically said, " You are at the end of the road" , "And I am in no way going to give you copies of your old bills for free. Its $5 per bill. And that will be over $300 for copies of your bills. " I WAS with AT& T for 11 years. If I could give ZERO I would. read more

The worst service ever i could imagine. Been there for 4 days in a week and each time atleast more than 1 hour to port a number. They don't know how to behave with customer and even i felt they showed me racial behavior. I was very disappointed and then i went to other store and they did it in one day and very very helpful and the other seems have more knowledge on att. I went into the at&t store on military highway today to transfer service from my current phone to a new phone I purchased. I was automatically greeted by the manager Bryan who was very friendly and personable. He was able to answer all of my questions and even help me with lowering my bill due to a mistake made from where I previously purchased my plan. In addition, he helped me decide which 2 screen protectors to purchase for mine and my daughters phone and even convinced me to purchase some beats which I've been contemplating buying anyways. The whole process was smooth and Bryan was very informative and super helpful answering all my questions. He even walked us to the door, you don't get that kind of treatment often these days. The waiting was terrible. It was very long but as soon as it was my turn, it went by very quickly. I was able to get a new phone for a good price. But it took FOREVER for it to be set up. I had to go home and set it up there because their WiFi was slow. I have to go back now due to my phone having to be authorized for some odd reason and I have no way on doing it read more

AT&T keeps running these adds that they have iPhone 6 and 6+ in stock. But I keep going into this and other AT&T stores in Norfolk, and calling them, and they always have the same answer. NO! None in stock. Cooperate AT&T is stupid for continuing to run these adds that just adds to customer frustration. And, the AT&T employees keep asking, do you want to order one. NO!!! I want to walk into a store that advertises they have something, hand over my money, and walk out with my purchase IN MY HAND. read more
