The purchase I made had gone through with a DUPLICATE purchase for the same date pending. Considering I had just made a payment and should have had enough credit to use that day, this was incorrect. I immediately called Kohl's customer service. The first person I spoke to looked at my account, and said yes they charged you twice for the same thing. I said I wanted it reversed immediately, it was affecting my available credit. He said he couldn't do that and transferred me to another dept. The woman I spoke to there told me that it would take 4 days to drop off. It is STILL showing pending. I told her I have had this problem with this store 2x last year. At that time I was told by YOUR customer service, it was the store. That they are hitting something when cashing me out that rings up twice, even though it only shows up once on the receipt. I had a problem then too, had to wait, but at least they made an effort to reverse it. I am being told there is nothing they can do and this is normal when a charge goes through, that sometimes it can charge twice , one pending until the original charge goes through. And then the second one will drop off. What kind of logic is that? I called again yesterday. Got the same thing. They are not reversing it. They are doing nothing. This is their ERROR, whether in the store or customer service. They don't care, and are NOT taking responsibility for this. I am extremely dissatisfied that the DOUBLE charge is still there. I did shop at another Kohl's the day I checked my account. I didn't use my Kohl's card. I have been a customer for years, and honestly think we all deserve better. When I called this should have been corrected immediately. The fact that this has ONLY happened at the Berlin store, is a question too. I would like the duplicate charge off my card IMMEDIATELY!!! This is seriously make me rethink shopping at Kohl's. Just to wrap up here, I just tried again....Was told the same exact thing. That there is nothing they can do. There is only 1 charge, and they have to wait for the pending to drop off. In the meantime it's affecting my available credit. Wow! Great customer service NOT!!!

And we have yet to find a cleaner and better stock store as this one I have also yet to see a staff member not stop what they were doing to offer help or advice and even a leading hand in finding what you're looking for. Managers from this Location will go out of their way to ensure you get what you're looking for, even if it isn't in stock. They have placed orders for me in the past, and I have received what I wanted in Days. Furthermore, everyone at this location has a Smile And will always welcome you in.

Nieve spent substantial time with us to ensure that Paul was in the perfect boot, binding and the right ski for his level. Paul is an exceptional skier, who now lives in the Midwest with me, his average skier wife, after growing up in the ADK's and skiing every winter day of his life, when weather permitted, for 20 years. Nieve also fitted me for boats, bindings and skis too, for good measure, so I can ski with my husband and not be bothered with rentals. Nieve, thank you - you were a joy to work with and my mountain husband, who begrudgingly lives 9-months per year in the Midwest, is now a happy camper again. The Scaps.

The staff collectively assaulted and harassed me verbally for being a service dog user, and for criticizing the decline of REI. It's a leftwing business, which means that the "feelings" of the employees outweigh any and every other consideration. In fact, I asked for contact info to make a complaint, and while one employee was writing it down, another employee came along and tore up the paper! I left the store but had to go back in for something, and 8 store employees were viciously gossiping about me at the checkout area. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM REI EVER AGAIN!

The guys at the counter were very helpful when I showed them what I was looking to do, made some suggestions to the type of wood I should use, etc. I purchased a few more hardware items while I was there. I picked up my cut lumber a couple days later and it was exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately I gave them one wrong dimension and when I called, they said they could recut the wood for me (they just had to trim some off the existing pieces). I also ordered some cabinet pieces from them, and if I need lumber cut for another project, I will definitely go back there.
