REI has really gone downhill. Both their products and their service. I had a terrible experience at…read morethis REI location. The staff collectively assaulted and harassed me verbally for being a service dog user, and for criticizing the decline of REI. It's a leftwing business, which means that the "feelings" of the employees outweigh any and every other consideration. In fact, I asked for contact info to make a complaint, and while one employee was writing it down, another employee came along and tore up the paper! I left the store but had to go back in for something, and 8 store employees were viciously gossiping about me at the checkout area. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM REI EVER AGAIN!

We worked with two gentlemen during our time at REI, both were fantastic. I wanted to share a specific shout-out to Nieve. Nieve spent substantial time with us to ensure that Paul was in the perfect boot, binding and the right ski for his level. Paul is an exceptional skier, who now lives in the Midwest with me, his average skier wife, after growing up in the ADK's and skiing every winter day of his life, when weather permitted, for 20 years. Nieve also fitted me for boats, bindings and skis too, for good measure, so I can ski with my husband and not be bothered with rentals. Nieve, thank you - you were a joy to work with and my mountain husband, who begrudgingly lives 9-months per year in the Midwest, is now a happy camper again. The Scaps.

My son and I sat down but before I could show him the features an arm reached over from behind and turned up the volume knob. It was another salesman now bringing another couple over to display the sofa. He continued to point and press buttons with my son & I sitting there with zero disregard for any personal space. And the that him playing with buttons and knobs without consideration for the effect it was having on my son & I. I got up and we left, making mention to Ben on our way out. Common sense lacking for that sales associate!

They have a standard 3-day turnaround time, but the next day they called me saying it was fixed up. It was as good as new and they gave me the part that needed replacing (which they did). I've had three separate transactions with these fellas, and they were all successful. I wholeheartedly recommend The Computer Barn. They do top notch work and their pricing is above board. The guys at the counter were very helpful when I showed them what I was looking to do, made some suggestions to the type of wood I should use, etc. I purchased a few more hardware items while I was there. I picked up my cut lumber a couple days later and it was exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately I gave them one wrong dimension and when I called, they said they could recut the wood for me (they just had to trim some off the existing pieces). I also ordered some cabinet pieces from them, and if I need lumber cut for another project, I will definitely go back there.

I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with this flooring company…read more They have now failed to deliver my flooring on three separate occasions after repeatedly assuring me it would arrive. Every missed delivery has forced me to reschedule my installer, and each delay has cost me thousands of dollars in non-refundable deposits and scheduling fees. Their lack of reliability has turned what should have been a straightforward project into a stressful and expensive nightmare. What makes it even worse is the poor communication and complete lack of accountability. Instead of providing honest updates or realistic timelines, I was repeatedly given promises that were never kept. At no point did anyone seem to understand or care about the financial impact their failures were having on me. If your project depends on materials arriving when promised, I would look elsewhere. A company that can't honor delivery commitments, communicate honestly, or take responsibility for the costs they cause their customers simply doesn't deserve your business. My experience has been incredibly frustrating, expensive, and completely unacceptable.
