This location has horrible customer service. I bought my phone here 6 weeks ago and bought screen protector which when I bought it had a protection plan and I can get it replaced anytime for $10 and find out they don't do it here anymore I have to go to Palmdale and get it done there. Mind you I was here last night too and no one ever really acknowledged you and you wait around and they asked you if you signed it like where the hell are you supposed to sign in?! Came in on my lunch break made an appt online to be seen at 12, a trainee was trying to help me and she ask one of the guys rep the screen protector and the guy said we don't do them here, but another girl was helping the trains found the screen protector and the guy said u can buy it for full price and I was like u have one here but u want me to go to Palmdale and the other lady was also like wtf we are getting rid of them anyway.... So needless to say the guy was an ass if he was a manager he deserved to be demoted and for the 2 ladies trying to help me thank you. Came in because I could not make calls with my phone. The manager that day was able to go online and get that straighted out. He offered me the new Router with speeds up to 300mbs. Tried it out for one week and was not satisfied with it as it only reached 80mbs the best day. Came back two weeks later to return it. Kevin was helping a costumer, I told him I was just there to drop it off, he said it would be 45 minutes until I get help. I went to the nearby shops, came back 25 minutes later. I waited past an hour and Kevin said I was the next costumer. Waited patiently a total of 1 hour 5 minutes, he asked me what I was there for and repeated I was there just to return the Router. within 20 seconds of helping me he had said I had to go online to process the return and cannot be done at the store. I was pretty upset that he could not spare 20 holy seconds to tell me that and avoid an hour of my day completely wasted for absolutely nothing. I asked him why would he not tell me that if he had seen me there waiting with the box in hand and he knew from the moment I came in the store what my visit was for. 20 seconds that's all I that would've taken Kevin to help me and get me on my way. 20 seconds, that's all. I wish I could leave ZERO STARS! I have never had a company or business refuse cash for a bill. The kiosk was down and said to see employee. I asked for assistance and the employee said go to Palmdale. I explained I've given cash to an employee in the past when the kiosk was down and she still said sorry can't help you. There were 8 employees during my visit and no one would help me. ALL EMPLOYEES were sitting and having their personal conversations. The customer service is absolutely horrible. Terrible service! I went in to buy a phone, made it super easy and asked for an iPhone pro max didn't matter the color, and the employment to the back to go "get it". I waited 20 minutes and she never came back out! There was only 1 other customer in the store. O yeah, if your 10 year old kid asks to use the restroom, they will send you to smart & final. Had just bought a new iWatch from Target and needed help getting Cellular activated on it. Called up the store, asked if appointments are needed and was told not needed, just walk in. So I did. Customer Service rep Liza Z. was the sales lady that helped me out. She completely walked me through the process, explained everything, cost, coverage and any fees (1-time). She also successfully restored the iWatch from a backup (so glad it's auto backed up) so I did NOT LOSE any information. Her professionalism, customer service, easy to understand, spoke very good English, and just an overall OUTSTANDING experience. I have had NOTHING short of a GREAT experience with the iWatch thanks to Liza and her willingness, patience and knowledge / experience. I would recommend ANYONE looking for an AT&T iPhone, Watch or OUTSTANDING Customer Service to visit the store located at 20th St West, Avenue J in Lancaster, CA. You won't be let down. Worst service ever. There is one awesome man who works here, and is so kind and helpful.. but the rest of them, are not only useless, but racist and refuse to help me just because of the color of my skin. They refused to help me with the issue I had been experiencing for months. I asked for the manager, who was also the same race as everyone working today, and he refused to come out and help me. Finally, I found a guy who had helped me prior, and he was aware of my situation. I brought all the things I needed to get it done, but he too refused to help me. Which is when I realized I was being discriminated against. Don't go here! They also lie to get you to sign up for things, promising that the offers are free.. but they are not free. By the time you find out, you can't cancel. So, unless you want to support racist liars who deceive you and refuse to help you as a group, don't go to this place.. they literally ganged up on me, and had no plan to provide customer services what so ever. Instead, they acted like they were still high school, refusing to help me and provide assistance.. I am canceling my AT&T account due to this experience. I recently visited this past Friday to upgrade my phone, and upon walking into the empty store that had only 1 other couple being serviced, the staff was too busy watching television to even address me. I sat and waited for 5 minutes before the rep that was helping the other group told the 3 staff members watching TV, that I was waiting to be helped. Once the rep finally came over to help me, it was as if he was too busy to even explain anything to me. I feel the need to write a bad review even though I've since moved out of state and it's been a few months since I've dealt with these people. I was ultimately kicked out of the store which hurt me so much, it prompted me to get the hell out of Lancaster in general. These people are evil to the core and they discriminate against anyone they can for any reason. Its been about 5 months since I came in. I know long time but hear me out please. I simply came in one day and asked their employee edberg if he would put a screen protector on for me once I received it in the mail. He said yes, no problem. A week goes by and I come in again. It happened to be busy but I specifically asked for edberg as he said he would do this favor for me. 20 minutes go by and he was still assisting other customers. I really didn't think much of the situation until I saw him gesture to another employee to help me instead. He was very rude, in my opinion. Why couldn't he just take 2 minutes of his time to tell me that he couldn't help me himself? After all, I asked for edberg! Anyway, I was greeted that day by another employee, nicole. She was new to the company back then and evidently it was her first time putting on a protector. The girl really didn't do a good job putting on the screen protector and I just have to be honest about that! I'm not saying it was her fault. I can't put them on for shit! But it would've been nice if the person who originally said he'd do it would've honored what he said! That's completely edberg's fault and not Nicole's! So anyway, I was really upset that day and I came back and tried to tell them that the protector was not put on correctly, I could barely use half of my phone! There were several employees in when my mom and I came in but no customers at that time. I felt like they were purposely trying to intimidate my mother and I because they were all standing around us giving us dirty looks! I can't believe how immature the employees are at this establishment! I mean come on this isn't high school! I spoke to the so called manager Salvador who told me that it's not their job to put on a screen protector and that customers should know how to do it themselves! What kind of customer service is that?? I was really appalled and ended up cussing the guy out. In the heated exchange, he told me I would need to buy something from the store next time in order for them to put on the protector! What the fuck? Another lie! I now live in las Vegas, nv and recently went into an at&t store here. I was greeted very kindly and the employee put on my protector here with no problem! Wasn't required to buy anything! My point is that there are assholes working at this Lancaster location and they don't follow rules nor do they go out of their way to help customers in need! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Last week my husband and I took my Samsung 7 Edge in to get my voicemail settings fixed and while their Sales Rep was playing with the phone, she somehow "accidentally" ERASED my ENTIRE PHONE! She eventually turned it back on. We were all sitting there in disbelief. I was so upset. Her manager came out to help and just blamed Samsung for making a defective device. He did not take ownership at all. He just deflected their error. They told ME to call their retention department, drive over to Verizon to ask about how to redeem my photos, data, and videos, and call 1-800-Samsung to fix the MISTAKE they literally just made. They should have done all of this FOR US. My husband has given them $$$$ over the years, so they least they can do is make a few calls for us. After 2 days of dealing with this fun bs we went back into the store to see how they were going to solve this problem. ALL THEY DID WAS OFFER A $200 dollar credit to my next device. But funny thing is, that is THE CURRENT DISCOUNT FOR ANYONE WHO WALKS THROUGH THEIR DOORS. We thought wow really, you just broke and erased years of memories of my loved ones and all you are going to do to fix your mistake is offer the current offer. That's BS!! So they did NOTHING! I said well give me a few phone case because the credit is worth $200 and the case is only $50, and then they said ok we will sell it to you for half off. Way to go AT&T My husband has been a paying customer for 13 years and was originally happy to add me to his plan. That night we drove right over to Verizon & signed up with Verizon in Palmdale near the mall. AT&T has ridiculous standards, ethics, and business policies.
