The staff at the store was great, but could not do anything for me because I switched to AT&T online. So this is more of a review AT&T , hopefully store management will get the message where it needs to go. Apparently, they are two separate companies, and the online company is garbage. The online people were really nice, but they are incredibly inefficient and uninformed and did not process my account properly. Going on about six weeks now, and six hours on the phone plus time at the store. Actually two stores, because the authorized dealers are not authorized to fix the stuff that the Internet AT&T company screwed up. Unsatisfactory review for the company, but the store did what it could, which was limited to pretty much telling me how to talk to the Internet people to fix the problem. AT&T cared about their customers, their stores would be able to fix the problem. Note to self. Never had this problem with T-Mobile, just didn't have coverage in my new neighborhood. read more

This was my second visit to this AT&T store, and unfortunately it confirmed that this is one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. The staff was completely unhelpful and spent most of the time talking in circles instead of actually explaining or resolving the issue. When we tried to get clarity, a manager yelled across the store that the representative had already "explained it enough" and that he had nothing else to say. At that point, my wife and I were essentially kicked out of the store, with our baby. We were handed a "fraud" slip with no explanation whatsoever as to what the issue was or why it applied to us, and were told to leave. No professionalism, no clear communication, and absolutely no empathy. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location if you expect basic respect or actual help. read more

I've been an ATT customer for many years. Went to add a new phone at the Hanover store, was informed it would not cost any more if we went on 55+ program. For 3 months I've called with high bills and each person in store explained it takes a bit for ATT to adjust. Finally went in for 3rd time and calling & they found out....oops...they quoted and printed a price that included Internet service but unfortunately they can't provide in my area .They also kept telling me I had home tech security included even tho I was getting billed $25 every month. I was misinformed every single time I reached out to them. Now they can not get me back on my old plan so I am now being billed $40/month more! They get commission so I wonder if it really was an "oops". So they enrolled me in the plan that required internet but since they are unable to provide internet in my area I get a $40 increase on service they sold that doesn't exist Looking at past reviews, stay away from the team in Hanover read more

I have been a customer for 5 months. My monthy bill has been incorrect. I have visited the store 3 times to resolve. I was asked to leave the store by the manager on my last trip ( Zach) Was told to call customer service to correct the issue. The worst customer service I have experienced with any product. Was threatened with him calling the Police if I didn't leave. Very disturbing the way I was treated. All 3 times I was told they would call back. Crickets!! read more

I went to the AT&T store in Hanover, Massachusetts, on November 25th, 2025, at around 3pm. I was there for almost 4 hours due to an issue with the switch from my old carrier to AT&T, and since I was there for a long time, every single employee in the store interacted with me in a good way during such a challenging time. Something that could've been very stressful ended up being not so bad, all because of the extremely knowledgeable and patient salesman, Peter, who did the impossible to make sure I left happy and with my new phone working, and because of everybody else in the store as well. I remember interacting with Chris, Mike, Jordan, Zac, Benz, Nas, and someone whose name I unfortunately don't remember. Everyone was really polite, friendly, and kind to me. I 1000% recommend this store, it made me have faith in great customer service again. Thank you again to everyone, especially Peter, for being the best salesperson I've ever talked to. I had the same experience as Melissa. Was told we were getting a free watch due to a promo, but it is not free. Our bill will almost double from the changes they made swapping plans around. They make it sound real good in the store, only for ATT to text me saying my bill is going to double due to the changes. We will be retuning the watch, cancelling the extra line they added for a watch...Because who needs a phone line for a watch. Finally I will be trying to undo everything they did in store that changed my bill. I will never buy from this location again. If I am unable to change things back to before Hanover screwed it up I will be changing carriers. read more

I had high hopes for this store, but it was a let down. We came here on January 1st to exchange 2 Apple Watches that had been purchased online within 30 days of us going to AT&T. We called customer service ahead of driving to the store to confirm the specific details of our purchase and intent to exchange, etc. We clarified that we would be able to proceed without issue in-store, and began the long drive there only after this conversation. Once we arrived at the store they had our new items on hold for us as discussed, but they claimed they could not accommodate our exchange due to us not having the original product packaging. We had already explained this via phone prior to coming to the store, so it was very frustrating to receive contradictory information in person. The employees at this store (manager included) made zero effort to fix the error of their own company, and essentially just shrugged their shoulders and told us to handle the exchange online / order replacement boxes on our own. Rather than making the trip a total waste and burning gas in our car for no reason, we still purchased our new watches and opted to handle the return of the old watches on our own. It was annoying to be not only lied to, but inconvenienced. We have a business account with AT&T, but they apparently don't take that into consideration or aren't worried about keeping customers satisfied. I wish I could work as an employee for a company like AT&T - apparently you don't need to be accountable for giving false information to customers. Very unhappy went in a couple months ago to upgrade my son's phone and talked into buy one get one Apple Watch which was a birthday present for my son made it clear what I wanted my monthly payments to be. I was quoted $10 a month more than what my bill was asked over again and they assured me. I get my bill at $75 a month more unfortunately, now I was told if I wanted my bill to go down, I had to return the watches that I got my son for his birthday now I am stuck never again they are worse than car salesman. 1 star because can't give 0 - Paul didn't want to help us at all, used a ton of technical terms that were completely unrelated to why we were in the store, and essentially kicked us out the door with how unhelpful he was. He talked us in circles, coming up with every excuse as to why he couldn't help us. I can't decide what was my favorite part of the experience: him not looking me in the eye at ALL and only talking to my husband, or when he defensively remarked that At&t wasn't the only carrier affected in the last week as if he were personally offended! The staff here is awesome and the service is excellent. To be honest, I went to a locally owned at&t store to get a new iPhone and the whole service experience was a nightmare... especially when I tried to return the new phone because I wanted a different model after 2 days (well within the time that they say that you can make a return). After getting the runaround from the local store, and making numerous trips back and forth, I decided to go to the Hanover location and they took my return and solved all my issues in about 20 minutes. April 22 went into this store. They talked me into Samsung note, I pad, DIRECTV, and security system . Most horrendous experience, promised free smart tv with package. Not told that monthly charge on I pad, never told of charge for security system camera, problems with Directv, on going problems. Never shipped free tv, paperwork never submitted, so no recourse on that. I have had ATT for many years, but will tell you the biggest mistake. In attempting to rectify this, correspondence not returned nor any manager return calls. Many attempts to rectify but no one takes responsibility.Definitely would not recommend this store. read more

I had a problem with my iPhone after a disastrous boat ride the day before. I had feared that I would need to purchase a new phone or wait days/weeks for a replacement. I chose to go to the Hanover location after hearing good reviews about this location. Luke met me at the door and proceeded to calmly work with me and the phone to locate and fix the problems. He was courteous, knowledgeable about the problems and made sure everything was fixed to my satisfaction, all the while holding a pleasant conversation to put me at ease. Check your bill! The salesman put AT&T insurance on 2 of my phones without asking if I wanted it. The store does not honor warranties on Apple products. They will tell you to go to Apple directly. Apple told me this is to protect their commission. read more

I had such a wonderful experience with one of the sales reps. at this store. He made it easy and clear for me on how to do an upgrade for my old iPhone. During the process, I had an indirect bad experience with one of the other sales reps. (Cindy). She made it clear to the gentleman that I was dealing with, that because I had a restriction (pass code) on my phone that didn't allow him at the time to wipe my old phone clean and because I didn't know the pass code, (essentially not remembering what it was) that I wasn't allowed to trade in my old phone for my new one. She kept insisting this issue and was very rude about it (directing her disingenuous attitude, essentially towards me and making it seem like it was completely my fault that I didn't remember my pass code). Eventually the rep. figured out how to get rid of the restriction (pass code) on my phone and he was able to complete the process. I wouldn't recommend going to her for anything that has to do with the means of trading in your phone, changing your plan, etc.. read more

Wasted an hour of my time because of "problems" and was told my phone would arrive via 24 hour shipping I went to AT&T on Tuesday and was recently informed that it won't be until next Tuesday that it would arrive. Absolutely horrible experience and if I weren't tied down by a contract I would take my business elsewhere.
