I had a really disappointing experience at this location today. The store was busy and there were several people waiting, which I completely understood. Once it was finally my turn, an employee began helping me. While he was assisting me, (about 10 minutes in,) an older couple he appeared to know walked in and went directly up to him. They spoke to him in Spanish and asked him what they had to do in order to be helped and not wait in line. Mind you, there were about 15 people in the queue waiting to be helped. He laughed, told them to give him a few minutes, and he would help them. Based on my appearance and last name, he clearly assumed I couldn't understand what they were saying. What he didn't realize is that I'm half Hispanic and speak fluent Spanish. So he stopped helping me and passed me off to another employee so he could assist the couple who had just arrived. (And truthfully, I don't think he would have just passed me off had he known that little detail.) I ultimately ended up being passed between three different employees and had to repeatedly explain my situation from the beginning. All in all, I was there for about two hours and still ended up having to call customer service because the issue could not be resolved in the store. The long wait was frustrating enough, but being pushed aside mid-service for people the employee knew felt incredibly disrespectful, and unprofessional. read more

I was at this AT&T store recently and witnessed a situation that honestly made me uncomfortable. I believe the manager's name was Kaitlyn. One of the employees was helping some customers and needed some codes from the manager. While he was helping them, the manager started asking him in front of the customers if they were getting insurance or accessories. The employee explained that they were still deciding and that they were mainly trying to see if they could get the phones they wanted, which were iPhone 18 Pro Maxes. The manager then raised her voice and told him that if the customers weren't going to get accessories, she was going to do a "side-by-side" with him. Another employee asked her why she was yelling at him in front of everyone. She said something back, but I couldn't hear exactly what she said. As a customer, it was really uncomfortable to watch. I understand employees have goals and managers have to hold their employees accountable, but doing it by yelling at someone in front of customers and other employees is not professional. I would expect better from a manager at AT&T. read more

READ THIS FULL REVIEW...GREAT ENDING!. January 2024, i went into an Orange County ATT company store and asked for 2 new phones and a plan that was close to my existing plan - $169.00/month. I was sold 2 extra lines and told it was going to be about $174.00.month, My February, March and April bills were +$350.00 each! Called ATT. After 3.5 hours they instructed me to take back to the store, have manager call them and unwind the convoluted billing, turn the phones in and start over. Went in and they refused to make the call but promised to fix. After calls and emails - NOTHING! I called the Fullerton store and told my sad story to the manager Javier Oliver. He told me to come in and he'd figure it out and get my bill to the expected price. He had no responsibility for this mess, but spent hours researching and correcting the billing. It was a very complex process. He never once complained about doing the other store's job. He assured me that this problem will be corrected. Yesterday, 05/13/24 he made good on his promise. Everything is as I expected in January thanks to Javier with help from Daisy & Fernando. Conclusion - ATT Fullerton is the place to go for service, purchase and advice. Upon their arrival Ernesto was rude and did not care to show them the steps on how to make a payment. When my parents asked for his assistance again to see their phone plan Ernesto gets snappy and condescending he lazily pointed to where they could pay. I am a brand new AT&T customer. I signed up with a guy at a local Target store on what looked like a great deal to leave Verizon and join AT&T. Buyer beware. This review will be for specifically the store on Harbor and AT&T in general. When signing me up, he told me that the new phone I would be getting would have expandable memory (Note20). When it arrived, it was activated and I realized it did not accept memory cards of any kind...only the Note20Ultra did. I blame myself for not researching it more but they should not be bringing in people who don't know what they're selling. I called AT&T and told them I needed to exchange this phone for the correct one. I use memory cards in my phones because I make a lot of content and prefer not to rely solely on the cloud. They told me I had to send it back and pay a $55 restock fee, even though it wasn't my fault. She also said it would take about 10 days AFTER receiving the phone, to be able to get the exchange. Since my number had already been ported from Verizon, I would be without a phone for at least 2 weeks. Insane. They told me to go to the store and exchange in person. I went down to the AT&T store to try and do an exchange. The guy said he couldn't help me since I had signed up with a 3rd party, though they also said they were with AT&T. We don't have any of your account info in our system, even though they could pull up my account. Buyer beware. THEY WILL RUN CIRCLES AROUND YOU. None of their "systems" are connected. I went home and called AT&T again. Mind you, each of these calls are LONG. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes just to talk to someone. Longer if they transfer you. The first call was well over an hour long. This second call was OVER 2 HOURS LONG. The lady on the phone insisted that they were not supposed to send me away and should have helped me at the store. She talked "to her supervisor" who ensured that they would put notes on my account that would allow them to help me. I went back to the store, still with the lady on the line. The next person to help me was a young lady. She almost immediately told me she wouldn't be able to help me. The lady on the phone told her to do the exchange and she fiddled with her tablet for maybe half an hour. Eventually, she was unable to do the exchange WITHOUT ME PAYING THE NEXT PHONE IN FULL to the tune of $1200 or so. The employee was kind, but I WAS UNABLE TO EXCHANGE MY PHONE ON THEIR ERROR, EVEN THOUGH I AGREED TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE AND THE RESTOCKING FEE. So, in other words, I could not give them more money. It was absolutely insane. Finally, the lady on the phone conceded and said that I would have to do what the initial lady told me, which was to send back the phone and wait the two weeks WITHOUT A PHONE. A total of 4 hours. Not one ounce of help. The customer service, though employed with kind people who seemingly want to help, is absolutely useless. When calling, you will wait at least 30 minutes, often longer and be connected to a call center, undoubtedly in another country. They will be unable to help you and will likely pawn you off to another dept where you will wait another 30 minutes JUST TO TALK TO SOMEONE. From there, they will wonder why you were sent to them (this happened to me today on a separate call). I made a mistake switching to AT&T and don't recommend it. It is very clear that there are hurdles in place to slow the customer down and not have to assist them. I felt bad taking my wife and daughters new phones back (since one was an early Xmas gift) so even though I'd much rather pay penalties and not give them my business, I may end up staying. I needed help - another store screwed up my account. I was frustrated and mad and outright just bewildered! I knew my problem was hard a one to fix. So i wasn't optimistic. I got arrived early, at 10 am. It wasn't busy; that was a good start. Two sales people where there and luckily i got someone whose been there a long time, and whose seen everything. After an hr, we got most of the stuff fixed. Oddly, this guy was well informed and was on the phone and on his tab and got things sorted out. And even though 90% of the issue was fixed, i felt it was a win. The other store was not helpful; At least here, the guy listened, asked questions and was able to guide me through my issues. For that, I thank him. And I apologize, to this store; i came in hot! and maybe i had a bad temper. yet, after i left, I i was happier. Sales person here Lie and Cheat- They wont tell stuff like restocking fee and all all that, when we go there to resolve they will charge you and state that you need to read the whole receipt before you buy. I asked one sales person Javier and he stated that when ever he goes to stores he reads all terms and conditions in each and every store and back of each receipt. These people are worried about sales that's it, I asked for manager and they asked me to wait 45 min so that he can show up. Please avoid this store or buy directly stuff from Apple, Microsoft or Samsung. I am in contact with CA Consumer Affairs to report this.
