Months ago, we bought my son a new iPhone and the salesman convinced us to buy the screen protector because he specifically told us it came with a lifetime warranty. I asked him THREE different times to confirm that we could come in anytime, have it replaced for free, and that they would install it for us with no fees. He assured me every single time. Fast forward to last night , we go into the store and get completely different treatment. One employee was supposedly "training" another guy, but instead of helping customers he was sitting on his phone in a group chat the entire time looking annoyed and like he didn't want to be there. We literally had to pause and wait for instructions in between him texting on his phone. The trainee was actually nice and tried to help, but unfortunately the original salesman clearly lied to us just to make a sale. Suddenly the "lifetime warranty" wasn't what we were promised. I even called corporate afterward hoping they would at least refund the screen protector since we were given false information, and they told me only the store could handle it. So basically: lied to for a sale, poor customer service, and zero accountability afterward. I warn anyone reading this that they created a complete dumper fire for me as a consumer and because of their long list of errors after nearly 2 weeks their offering was going to over double my cost of my plan with AT&T. They were wrong on many of their commitments as well and leading me to visit their store over a dozen times during the process and would not allow me to reach out to anyone who was a decision maker to fix the issue. read more

I just called this AT&T store after reading many positive reviews. I explained that I had purchased a new iPhone at a different AT&T location, but wanted to visit their store because it is closer to my home. I asked if they could assist with transferring the data from my old phone to my new one. The representative (I will not give his name) told me they could not help because I did not purchase the phone at their location. I asked for clarification and specifically asked whether AT&T corporate has a policy that prevents customers from receiving assistance at any store unless the phone was purchased there. He told me yes, that corporate would tell me the same thing. After checking AT&T's policies, I learned that this information is incorrect. AT&T customers should be able to purchase a device at one location and receive assistance at another. Being given false information was disappointing, and it reflects poorly on the store. Just experienced the worst customer service at this store. The girl was extremely rude. We ordered a new phone over the phone with ATT but they shipped the wrong phone. We were told we could go into any ATT store to swap it out. We were in this location for all of a minute, explained our issue and she rudely responded you have to go to a different store, I don't do that here. It just escalated from there. Wish they'd even offered to look up and order our product in for us, since we took the time to come in. 2:00pm 1/20/22. But the least of my concerns. We were Wrong- without calling first to ask if they had what we needed. That was our zero stars, because when we arrived, they did not have protective screen covers for either of our our iPhones . It was snarkily explained that my iPhone 7 was old, and that's why they didn't have a screen cover. Ok, but for the Iphone 11, apparently not "new" enough either to have a screen protector in stock. BEWARE!!! the Poorest customer service by Jakob E. We came back to this AT & T store in Edmonds to return a brand new, undamaged iphone within 72 hours of our purchase. Jakob E. had the most insincere, unprofessional, and condescending responses.He refused to offer some help and refused to explain in detail on why he had sold us an opened iphone box (with a marker writing on the box) and kept insisting that he neede to charge us a restocking fee of $45 when we know for a fact that the iphone he sold was brand new, undamaged, untouched! We literally just looked at it. He is severely incompetent! his attitude was very dismissive, he made patronizing statements, stated, "we just don't take back the phones because you changed your mind"--when AT & T company policy is clearly states that an individual may return an undamaged iPhone with its included accessories within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!We instead went to Alderwood Mall AT& T and got an excellent customer service! Alderwood Mall AT& T helped us with our return iphone and refunded our money back!!!!! I am not a patient person and technology is not my strong point and was dreading this task!! i am happy to report that employee Mathew was beyond wonderful!! i was very impressed with his customer service skills and knowledge of products. If I could do 0 stars I would. They took my phone for a trade in, never sent it in and had no record of a trade in. They tell me now that unless I can prove that they took my phone, they can't do anything and I'm still going to be charged for it every month. Matt was short with me and didn't return calls. He offered no escalation of the problem. I'm just sad. Now they say the person who sold it to me doesn't work there anymore. I'm trapped in a contract I didn't want because of these people read more

I had went to another AT&T store to trade in my old phone for a new iPhone, the promotion was $1000 off, they were very helpful at the other store, they said I can trade my phone in up to 30 days at any location no problem. I brought it in and they said I could only do a trade in for $800 which is not their advertised promotion ONLINE. So I asked to cancel the trade in, they said they couldn't, I asked for a screen protector and they didn't even provide me with an actual AT&T brand screen protector, they were overall not very helpful... read more

Shameful experience. Management should re-train their staff in customer relations if they would like to represent the company appropriately. Upon entering, I was immediately told, in a rude tone, that the staff member checking out the only customer in the store was the only one there all day and would not be able to assist me "for several hours". Bear in mind he did not ask what I needed help with. As I was ready to leave, another staff member walked in. I asked if he could help with a cracked screen protector. Selecting one from the wall, he said "here's the price tag". I wasn't asked where I purchased my original protector or a possible warranty. I have an iPhone 8 so the protector was only on for 10 months. It's on me that I didn't consider the warranty. So, I purchased the screen protector for $49.95 and waited 15 minutes for it to be applied...by using my requested debit card as a device to extract air bubbles! That is enough to have a negative experience. BUT...as I was leaving, I was told to register my new protector by having "one of my grandkids help me". I whirled around and said: "How do you know I have grandkids?" THAT COMMENT IS INDEFENSIBLE AND OFFENSIVE. It's ageist, inappropriate, and the equivalent of asking someone if they're pregnant if they have a plump belly. Furthermore, there was no apology, just a stunned (busted) look. Will never return. Incredibly bad service. The guy kicked me out for no apparent reason when I came to make a monthly payment.

Started out great. I was greeted very professionally and helped immediately. I was bringing my family in and we were going to bring over 7 phones and sign up for directv. While looking at phones, I over heard a couple of the employees talking about how the company doesn't take care of them and how it's getting harder and harder to make a living wage. I inquired and after hearing what they had to say i am speechless. I cannot, and will not give my money to a company that takes advantage of it's employees. Those poor people. So we left and went to the alderwood mall location. We were taken care of there and would recommend 5 out of 5. I will never go back to one of those "dealers." read more

I would like to thank and recognize Jeff for providing outstanding customer support to me during what has been an incredibly challenging and frustrating service issue with AT&T. Jeff spent 4 hours on the phone with AT&T support trying to resolve an issue that I have been unable to solve for 5 weeks with their call center support. He was the only person staffing the store because of illness, and he continued to work my problem while using the time he was put on hold to accept payments, take phone calls, etc. He could have told me that it was taking too long, that he had too many other things to do while working alone, or found any number of ways out of what was a very stressful and frustrating experience for him as well. He didn't. He hung with me while doing everything he could to keep other business running. If I was a business owner, I would want him to work for me. He made me feel that at AT&T, there is at least one person who values me as a customer, and is willing to do everything possible to keep me by business. If Jeff is representative of the other staff at this store, customers should feel confident that they will be be given great customer service and be treated professionally. I came to this store looking to swap my services from Verizon due to the lack of data and the extreme prices of Verizon. I chose to try the AT&T unlimited plan which includes DirecTV and AT&T Wireless. The service for AT&T was great but I gotta say, I was not a fan of the DirecTV. It did not offer Pac12 network and also the guide and menu screen felt very outdated. (Like something from the 1990s) I was told by all the reps at the store that if I did not like the services, I would be allowed to return all my equipment (within 14 days) and I would be charge a flexed amount for the time I had the services. I understood that I would still have to pay for all the one time charges, and installment fees. After about 12 days I was not very happy with the DirecTV and my roommates were having a hard time adjusting to the outdated DirecTV menu and guide. I decided it was not for me, so I went back to return everything. When I got to the store, returning the AT&T wireless was a breeze, but when it came to the DirecTV, it was a whole different story. I was told by the reps there that I would be charge a $400+ early cancellation fee. I asked them why they would tell me that I had 14 days to try out my services and if I didn't like it, I would be able to return it with no penalties. The response I got was "Sorry, I didn't know DirecTV doesn't follow the 14 day return policy. You were told the wrong information, I'll make sure to tell the rest of my coworkers that DirecTV doesn't follow the same return policy as AT&T Wireless." I was furious. Not only did they tell me the wrong information when I got the service, but the rep that helped me acquire the service was no longer employed at this certain store. They basically told me since she was no longer employed there anymore, theres nothing they could do but file a corporate complaint. So I decided to follow up with a corporate complaint and I left all my information and billing information with the rep and he told me that he would get a hold of me once he hears back from corporate about my complaint within 3 business days. (Wednesday 11/16/2016) TWO WHOLE WEEKs pass and I still get no call back or response about my corporate complaint. The amount of professionalism and knowledge at this AT&T store is second to none. If you want to get AT&T or DirecTV, I HIGHLY SUGGEST GOING TO ANOTHER AUTHORIZED DEALER SO YOU CAN GET THE RIGHT INFORMATION and not be and afterthought just because the rep that helps, is no longer employed there. Nice people, but lack of knowledge of the return policies is very discouraging. read more
