Don't come here if you need any type of help with your account or phone. This store is basically for sales only.

Everything went well thanks to a top notch, well informed, skilled technician "Levi" HIGHLY…read moreRECOMMENDED ! 5 STARS ! (Not 4) He gave me an accurate estimate to replace my TOUCHSCREEN on my "antique" iPhone 11, buying me a couple more years with my somewhat obsolete device. No fast-taking "mumbo-jumbo" just a polite, concise explanation and an efficient repair, why is this so rare these days ? Maybe I can't get ALL THE NEGATIVE CAR REPAIR EXPERIENCES erased from my brain, maybe that's it ? A little tricky to find their small but well-organized store, think Chick-fil-A near Super Target, South Square, Durham NC. Their "CPR Red Cross" sign is small, their location is in the inner corner of a small 'mini-mall' next to a Middle Eastern grocery. Once you find it the first time, it's easy to get to. You realize that the repair shops in the BIG MALLS like Southpoint are going to have to charge you more, don't you ? Their 'overhead' is way higher than a modest location like CPR. I'm EMT~Paramedic so I like the name and play on words.

Would definitely recommend for data recovery. I had an external hard drive that was not working…read morethat contained a lot of important files and information. Other places were going to charge over $300 for the job to be done. CPR was able to restore all the files and provide a flashdrive (free of charge) all for under $150. The best part was that it only took half a day from the time I dropped off the hard drive to when I arrived to pick everything up.

BUYER BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER…read moreSERVICE !! 1. False advertising by Anthonie, Assistant Manager two months on the job at this T-Mobile location. Assistant Mgr. Anthonie made a verbal offer of a $600 trade-in credit communicated from the back room out of view via his sales representative Naomie. Once our purchase was in progress the $600 trade-in credit was reduced to $300. 2. There was loud, pounding, techno music along with a loud, intermittent security alarm blasting every couple of minutes. Sales rep Naomie stated she didn't know how to fix the loud alarm noise. After quite some time Mgr. Anthonie came out from behind the door to turn off the alarm. It took him about 1-3 seconds to turn off the obnoxious alarm. He made no attempt to apologize or educate his subordinate. 3. Assistant manager Anthonie was only responsive to the request of customers for noise reduction after multiple requests. Even then Assistant mgr. Anthonie only slightly lowered the volume of the disturbing, pounding music. It was sales rep Naomie who finally took control and adjusted the store music to more suitable shopping/thinking music. 4. Both employees appeared lethargic, unmotivated and unresponsive to customer questions. Both mumbled with avoidant eye contact and body posture when questions finally were answered. 5. There was a two-hour wait for the purchase and transfer of data in the extremely unpleasant atmosphere. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
