I said great I will get that and want the most basic phone package that is $45 a month as this is for my teenage daughter and she doesn't need anything elaborate. He said sure thing. I paid my taxes on the phone ($80ish) and left. Shocked is an understatement when I received my bill and my daughter's phone charge was $131.00! I called Verizon and they explained to me that I was being charged for the phone, along with the ultimate unlimited package and a hotspot package..!!! I told the guy what happened in the store and he said yes, this guy scammed you like a used car salesman! So staying on the phone for over 2hrs my daughter now has to get a new phone, return her old phone, and then I had to pay another ($40) in taxes for the new phone. How scammy and what a hassle! I will be reaching out to corporate to file a complaint at how dishonest and untrustworthy their workers are there.

Initially, Andrew said they didn't have any iPhone 14 Pro Max in stock and it would need to be ordered, which she decided to do. Andrew decided to check the back and they had one available. Andrew also told us that a customer bought a watch and retuned it but never used it. Since my sis got a new phone, there was a $250 off deal for series 8 Apple Watch. It also had a $50 coupon on it. I decided to get it and upgrade my Apple Watch SE. There was a $35 activation fee for both the watch and the phone. Since the devices were still attached to other orders, Andrew had to call Verizon to remove/cancel them. This was what made the visit take FOREVERRRR! It started to get busy as well. At one point, all the agents were with people and there were 3 people waiting. After waiting a bunch of waiting, Andrew told us around 1:40pm that it was giving him a bunch of hassle with him canceling the order that was connected to the device. While I appreciate his attempts and I know that it's out of his control, we did waste like 30+ minutes. Andrew ordered the purple iPhone 14 pro max 128GB online. He said it would be here (in store)in a week. I paid for the activation fee for the Series 8 watch, obtained the watch from Andrew, and then we left. When I got back to my brothers house, I checked my email and saw the order placed but it said it was shipping to my house in 2 days... I hope that's wrong as it's not what we were told, especially as I live 1.5 hours away, but we shall see.

SHADY PRACTICES AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more They gave a $299 quote for a repair on my phone, they said that they charge a non-refundable diagnostic fee of $50 NO MATTER IF THEY ARE ABLE TO DO THE REPAIR OR NOT. Being desperate, I accepted under the front desk's assurance that my phone is "probably" going to be fixed, and this is a just in case thing. Sure enough, they hold my phone for 3 days with no news. On the fourth day, I get a message saying 'come pick your phone up, we can't fix it because we can't find the faulty part'. I ask for information about the faulty part, and they give me none. Moreover the lady at the front desk has the audacity to act exasperated and condescending when I ask for information about which part exactly is broken, and acts as if I'm being rude and unreasonable for asking for my money's worth on the diagnostics. She lies and tells me the part is not available in the US, when it is available everywhere online. I suspect that they ruined something else on my phone and didn't want to fix it because of that, so I'll be using another repair service to see if that's the case. The positive reviews are probably fake accounts from China, don't trust them.

How hard could it really be??! Anyway, they finally figured it out & I was on my way. I would definitely go back if I needed something from there. They were following social distancing guidelines. While the first technician was repairing the charging port, he asked whether I also wanted to replace the battery because he said it was not in good condition. He explained that since the phone was already open, he could replace the battery for less than the normal price. I agreed. After he finished, I checked the battery settings and the battery performance was still showing 65%, the same as before the replacement. I asked him about this, and he told me that it would improve to 100% within 24 hours. He also told me that if it did not improve, I should bring the phone back within two days and they would replace it again. Unfortunately, the battery continued to perform the same way after the repair. I wasn't able to return immediately because of personal circumstances, so I went back about a week later. There was a different technician working that day. I explained what had happened and told him what the first technician had told me about returning if the battery did not improve. The second technician told me that he was not as experienced or trained as the first technician and did not want to open the phone to work on the battery. I left without the battery issue being resolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store for phone repair. I paid to have the battery replaced, but the battery performance remained at 65%, and when I returned to have the issue addressed, it was not resolved. I am also pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels regarding the charge.

The worker here knew what it was right away, ordered the battery, let me know when to expect it, and texted me as soon as I came in (less than 2 days later). He then replaced it in 15 minutes and assured me the rest of the phone was in good condition. He was very polite and knowledgeable throughout, and the battery came with a 1-month warranty. And the whole thing was cheaper than I expected!

Quickly discovered that they do NOT make anybody available to resolve issues by phone -- you have to leave a number and wait/pray for a return call. At the time I had the specific e-mail of an associate I'd dealt with earlier, and he jumped in & helped immediately. It appears they've plugged that loophole now. 2nd order: Shipped open box product where new product was advertised/charged. Same old story: nobody available to speak with you. Either leave a # or e-mail. They ended up issuing a $50 refund, but this should not have happened. 3rd order: In a panic I ordered a $150 TOSLINK cable, but found out later the issue was elsewhere. Again: nobody available to assist with the return. In response to e-mail, they did approve the return, but charged a $15 "return label fee." Grrr. Hopefully I'll have my wits about me next time & remember to avoid these shady people who only half-heartedly provide customer assistance!
