Greeted at the door and was helped right away. I had $35 in Best Buy rewards and decided to purchase a mini fridge for our garage. It was on sale for $99, including rewards and tax, $77 out the door. Very helpful associate named Ozzy helped me, the gentleman at the front (Zac, I think?) loaded the mini fridge into my car. Entire process was under 20 minutes! Plenty of parking but the spots are pretty snug. read more

9/12/21: I went in to buy my grandmother a replacement cellphone. No one greeted me at the door yet there were staff standing there talking. I found the section the phone was in, selected what I wanted, & proceeded to the cash register. The store was neat, tidy, and clean. The cashier was kind of friendly. She DID have a hard time ringing up the phone though & had to ask for assistance. The guy assisting her had a hard time too. They were scanning every barcode on the box. There was only 2!!!! How hard could it really be??! Anyway, they finally figured it out & I was on my way. I would definitely go back if I needed something from there. They were following social distancing guidelines. Masks are required & the floors are marked. read more

Purchased a TV from Best Buy online. It was available for pick up that day or free delivery a few days later. I chose delivery. Best Buy called to schedule delivery. The day before the scheduled delivery Best Buy called to confirm the delivery. THE DAY OF DELIVERY they call back to say they don't actually have the TV and have to reschedule delivery for a later date. WTAF! How does Best Buy stay in business like this? Immediately canceled the order and am buying from their competitor. Avoid Best Buy unless you just want your time wasted! read more

This was BEYOND A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I know I'm only one little customer to a multi billion dollar corporation so I'm sure this will go unresolved and just like Mark Moore said his manager will agree with him providing terrible customer service and hanging up on me... WOW! I'm actually quite shocked I am receiving this level of customer service. I purchased this tv which was over $3,000 for an 85 inch tv!!! And when it came time for delivery- the delivery person said they can not take a tv upstairs- like huh, so I asked them to call Best Buy and they did and they lady explained that they could so they ended up bringing the tv upstairs. They just dropped the tv off and wanted to leave I said can we try it to make sure it works and they said no. I said well I will not sign off on a delivery if I dont know the tv isn't working. He said dont matter dont need your signature I have pictures showing I delivered it- I am not starting to feel this is how Best Buy teaches their employees that the customer sucks we just want their money so you can treat them however. I asked can he call Best Buy so he did and they person Ryan? Did not know if they were supposed to test out the tv and said he will reach out and call me back. I said to him that during the prep steps it says that "I will supply and enter my WI-Fi network username and password, and sign in information for apps and software because the service provider isn't allowed to know this information" - how can I enter this if I cant test the tv to make sure it works? I ask for a manager and after a few asks Ryan begrudgingly gets me a manager. Mark Moore gives me a call and it is a nightmare he does NOT want to help me and does NOT care- as you see this has to be trained by Best Buy. Mark is very rude and I ask to speak to his manager and he said no and I said why and he said because his manager isn't customer facing, I said ok well can I have his email and he said no. I said so you're refusing to give me his email and that these calls are recorded right? He said yes and that he is going to hang up and that his manager will agree with him, I was shocked he was this bold to say this to me. After he hung up I called Best Buy back and was put on hold for 15 mins and hung up on again. My tv does NOT power on and I have an appointment for it to be mounted tomorrow. I need this fixed asap, I am also going to reach out to the BBB. read more

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 3 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 4 Customer Service: 5 Best Buy is one of my favorite stores in the world. Lets chat about this location though! Parking is normally a challenge if you want to get up front. This location is normally pretty busy and swarming with customers. The location is perfect. It sits right off of US1 highway. The service I always get is never a problem. Everyone is super helpful and there never any pressure to purchase anything. I love that about BB! This location is always stocked and seem to have everything I need every time I come through. read more

Great staff! We have moved a number of times and in each experience bought items at Best Buy. This store in Raleigh is absolutely the friendliest. Good teamwork read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought a new computer a week ago. It's been nothing but one issue after another so today hubs sent me to return it after work as I passed by to go home. I called the number for the store, explained our issue, that we were dumb enough to throw away the box(now I know why people have them for years) and made sure I had a receipt and off I went after work. I knew I owed them the extra step due to not having the original packaging, and did everything I could to ensure a smooth transaction. No one could help me and after three different employees tried, then the store manager came over. She shows up with her face wearing her irritation with me, and attitude to say to me she's not refunding it- it's our fault the Microsoft operating system locked us all out and there's Nothing she can do. Nicki Koller is not an asset to your store fyi...I asked her for the corporate number, and her business card. To which she told me to get it from the employee at the door. She refused to even assist me with that. If you are looking for electronics, or even the most basic customer service if you have an issue-this is NOT the place. read more

I needed a new microphone for my computer for work, of course during the mist of the pandemic, so I purchased one from Best Buy because they have curbside pick up. The curbside pickup was set up and staffed extremely well. I was very impressed with how seriously and sincerely this store is taking the virus. I need that microphone for my work and I am very grateful I could get it with minimal exposure to my self as well as how well the store was protecting its employees. This store has earned my business for all future purchases. read more

Not my favorite place to shop for electronics (pricey), but then again, their service beats the socks off their competitor a few miles to the south in the Sam Ash plaza. I came here, found what I was looking for, asked some pertinent questions and was directed in the right direction by a knowledgeable floor clerk. I'm now set up for wireless networking at home. Sweet! and Cool! An Okay store, but nothing special. read more

I am my father's daughter, which makes me an electronics- and gadget-nerd. This is one of our favorite stores to browse together to check out the latest "in" thing. Now if you've been to one Best Buy you've been to them all. This one, however, I'll give four stars instead of three. Why? Because the parking is better here than other Raleigh-area Best Buy locations, and it's sandwiched between two of my frequent north Raleigh haunts: one of my favorite nail salons and one of my favorite wine stores. I'm all for killing, uh, three birds with one stone...er, trip. So you can expect to see your usual Best Buy fare - appliances, cell phones and accessories, TVs, sound systems, computers and laptops, software, a station for the Geek Squad, and an ever-dwindling selection of CDs and DVDs. read more

My husband, daughter, and I had 3 gift cards we had just received as Christmas gifts -- $150 worth in total. Went in store to make a purchase and was told only one of the cards worked. The cashier asked if they had been used before. We told her "no" that we had only just received them. We were then told the other two cards were no good, to find the receipts and contact customer service. When we got back out to our car, I immediately called the number listed to check the balance of both cards. Both registered as being fully loaded. Got home and was able to use both to make a purchase online with no problem. Not sure what the problem was in store other than employee incompetence. read more

I have to admit, I shop at Best Buy. For some things, they charge a lot. Like for simple little accessories, you can drive 5 minutes down the road, and pay half as much. And I am talking about Best Buy's own store brand, RocketFish, they charge a ton for. The recently moved their movie section, and it shrunk, to an almost non-existent 2 rows compared to what it was. When ever I buy movies, I only buy them on sale. I feel like paying over $10 for a movie is too much. Best Buy does have some decent sales on movies every now and then, and even places new releases on sale too. This store, is not their High-End Magnolia store like the one at Crabtree Mall, but it will do for most stuff. Before you go to Best Buy, do price shopping on the internet. If you find a cheaper price on the internet, print it out, and take it to Best Buy, and ask them if they will match it. I have had then drop an item from $119 to $74 just because I showed them a cheaper ad online. Do not be afraid to walk out the store and buy else where if they will not match the price. You can always ask to speak to the manager in charge. Occasionally, depending on how different the price is, they might just offer to reduce their price instead of matching. But you never know unless you ask. But, don't try and do something crazy and say you saw it on e-bay. It has to be a real reputable place, that has several of them in stock. For example, if they only take PayPal, don't ask Best Buy to price match. Sometimes while at Best Buy, you might have to go from one team member, to another team member to get good service, or just plain service. Not all team members here treat all customers equally, and I have even been told that by people that work at Best Buy. But then again, that happens at the Crabtree Magnolia store too, so maybe it is a Best Buy thing in general. Overall, I would say Best Buy is your typical mass electronic retailer. Unfortunately for the consumer, us small people, when Circuit City went out of business, there went the competition, and also the sales. If you do like to browse electronic gadgets, then Best Buy is a good place to go in this small town. If you are looking for a new hand held tablet device, you have to check 3 spots in the store, as they are not all kept together. You have to look in the Mobile Phone area, where devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tablet are. Devices that can connect to a mobile phone network are found here. In the MP3 section. Devices like the Archos tablets are found in this section. They do not have a mobile phone plan, and have a smaller screen size, and a more limited user functionality. The last spot to check is the computer section. You will find devices like the ASUS or the iPad in this section, as they are more of a powerhouse type of device. My bad, I almost forgot. They also sell washers, dryers, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and video games. read more

The WiFi router we have at home has been from Spectrum , which like all things from Spectrum is complete trash. I go to Best Buy on the Sunday morning after black Friday. As I walk over to the routers the young man that works in that section comes over and let me know it's his area and if I had questions let him know. I looked at a few that interested me and then asked him a few questions. His name is Ali and he was AWESOME and a huge help!! He listened to what I needed and showed me the item that was on sale and saved me a ton of money. I ha e had good luck with customer service at this location, and Ali was a great help! read more

I had contacted Samsung about my phone I had for 3 months with the screen that was flickering, they had created a ticket and told me t bring it to this Best Buy as they are an authorized Samsung repair shop. When i first drop it off it seem like the experience would be good but i was wrong. I didn't get any updates about my repairs as promised. I had keep going into the store to get updates on the repairs. One day was told Samsung had canceled the ticket and reissued it, so they had to get a new ticket, but was told they had the part, and it was with my phone and should be fixed in a day or two. So I go back two days later as since i didn't hear back from them, then i get told that they have to order the part. Which then i said that i was told you had the part and it was with the phone. So I was told come back at the same time the next day and the phone will be done. The next day I start to head over and then get a phone call that they couldn't get the repair done as they had problem with Samsung saying the part can't be used for the phone and they will have to send the art to them but they had said they are working with Samsung to see if they can use the part they had. So I show up on Monday they tell me it is all figure out and that my phone will be ready that night. So i gave it until the next day and when I went in they tell they cannot repair it since they would do damage to the frame and i have to send it in to Samsung. So why would they have accepted a repair they can't do and keep my phone for over a week. Between the two companies they like to give their customers a run around, when you spend this much on a device it should not have these issues. Best buy has lost my business and the next time i get a phone it won't be Samsung. read more

The service is much to be desired. At the minimum,3-5 are always outside smoking at the front of the store. This is always a deal breaker for me at any place of business. The service inside is nonexistent. The employees are grouped together and if they asked if you need help (again, not the best way to sell anything or start a conversation), it's not one response for every customer. I use Best Buy as a showroom for things I can see in person then order online, mainly from Amazon or another online retailer. This hasn't always been the case but unfortunately Best Buy has accepted this with no change in there business model. read more

Absolute disappointment. Best Buy is always, well, Best Buy, but today I experienced a new low. I went in today intending to buy a new car stereo and have it installed. I knew what I wanted, I simply needed to buy it and make it happen. I was the only customer in the mobile area, there was an associate standing there... who looked and me and simply walked away. "OK," I think, "he must be helping someone, he'll be back." I browse the area a bit longer, he returns... and continues to stand around, completely ignoring me. I suppose I could have approached him, but I wasn't about to beg to spend money. I move to the computer section. As I browse, I notice several associates standing around, making small talk. Once again, I am ignored. I mean, I'm checking out the Macbook Pro, I certainly might have bought one if someone tried, but none of the young men even asked. Now I decide that I surely have become invisible and decide to test my theory in other departments. As it turns out, I am right. associates see through me in the TV department, the cellphone department, the video games department, yadda, yadda. It wasn't busy, there certainly wasn't a lack of people working... invisibility (read: associate apathy) had to be the only answer. I'm sure I'll go back; it's near my home and from time to time they have a loss leader I can't resist. But I'll be damned if I'll go there for a high ticket item I might have questions about or need installed. Customer Service... thy name is NOT Best Buy. read more

Since this is the closest Best Buy to my work and home, we come here frequently when we need electronics. Never had encountered a problem here with a purchase or a return. This review covers a major bright spot for me last year. I had been craving, almost physically, a high-def TV and something near the higher end tier from Samsung. Each time I would get near to saving enough for it the TV would be discontinued and a far younger and more powerful (yes, an Episode 3 Darth Sidious quote) version would arise for much more $$. It was a vicious cycle. Finally, credit is near restored and the opportunity to score my dream TV was nigh. Last year I happened to visit the Crabtree location and was told that the second-tier model was in clearance and was fast disappearing. Suddenly the dream TV was affordable! I bought it.... When you buy a high-end TV you have to, I repeat, have to make sure the TV is calibrated and fitted out with high-end cables. The calibration service used to be included as a service perk with the Best Buy rewards program. When the program was re-organized months earlier the service was no longer included ($240 value approx). I just happened to be at this location and was inquiring as to the cost of the service to one of their specialists. He asked me for my contact info and pulled up the receipt to show proof of purchase. He then called over the store general manager (I apologize but forgot the name!!!) who set me up with the appointment ..... for free! Not only did I make the purchase I had wanted for some years but I was taken care of even though the program no longer offered the service. Just for that alone I have developed a soft spot for this store. read more

I showed up at 9AM to participate in the employee-crushing deal for $1 iPhone 6s's that they were running for just a few days. Deana in the mobile department searched high and low for justonemore phone but, alas, they were out. She then helped walk me through the online purchase (free shipping!) and was very patient with me as I navigated difficult Verizon questions like "what is your PIN number?" My point here: Deana did not get any credit for the sale and she could've easily blown me off given the extremely busy nature of the holiday season; but, she didn't! She was the epitome of customer service and Best Buy should be very thankful they have her at their mobile desk! Who said big box stores can't act local once in awhile?! read more

I go there every once in a while as I am a Best Buy elite member and have made tons of purchases there. Everything is always well organized and easy to find what you need. I can say that some of the staff there feel like they have some kind of power just because they work there. There has been a couple of times where I felt discriminated just when I was shopping. I went there today to buy my girlfriend an Apple Watch and the associate Mario, provided excellent service during check out, but as I walked out towards the exit with the bag in hand, the associate in the entrance who greets people asked to check my receipt in a rude way. I wasn't bothered at all since I had the receipt, but I did not like how other people past me, were acknowledged and did not ask them for anything. I hate Best Buy! Seriously though how can you have so many people working and still suck at customer service. I came in to buy a simple gift card but after looking through all four sides of the gift card display tower I realized there were none. Do NOT do business with Best Buy on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh, North Carolina. They do NOT stand behind their products or warranties. You cannot contact them by phone to speak with a manager. I received a Lenovo laptop as a gift on November 5th, 2017. It was under warranty, and a protection plan was purchased. It froze up/malfunctioned in less than 3 months. On January 31, 2018 the Geek Squad charged $128 to "repair it" and never issued me a credit card receipt for the charges. It froze up/malfunctioned again less than a month later, and I brought it back to the Geek Squad on February 27th, 2018, and I received the receipts for the initial purchase, the extra warranties, and the previous "repair". Manager Heather Jarrett was RUDE, said "I'm DONE!" and walked away because I would not give her my receipts! She REFUSED to replace it and wanted to issue a credit for half of the total cost. The laptop was previously returned 3 months after it was purchased to me owning it. So they sold a laptop that they KNEW was faulty/malfunctioning! What a SCAM!
