Absolutely horrible! Took a payment for a diagnostic fee. Never called me, I had to call multiple times. Then I was told over the phone that the diagnostic fee is separate than the repair and once I agreed to not go through with the repair I was told to diagnostic fee would be deducted from the repair but then was offered a purchase price below value for my xbox. Run from this service provider. I brought my laptop to Warp Computers Raleigh NC because it was misbehaving i.e. not hold a charge. They called me and said that the mother board needed to be replaced, and the data can be backed up with an external hard drive $89.00 in addition to the 59.99 diagnostic charge that I paid in advanced. Then the representative Mr. Harry/Henry continued to say that replacing the motherboard and the battery would cost me right around $1000.00 including scrapping the computer (whatever that means). I responded stating that I should just buy another computer. Mr. Harry/Henry asked what is my budget for a replacement computer? I said about $250-$300 and he replied, "oh we don't have any computers in inventory for that budget". I then said, I will keep my computer and come pick it up. I arrived to pick up my computer with a total bill of $327.05, $260 owed including a $89.95 $155 labor charge. The representative an elder "white" man said to me that he has about 5 more computers in back with the same motherboard problems. He continues to say that my computer when they took it apart has water damage, corrosion and it smelled like a perfume factory, that he had to take it outside to air out, the smell was that bad. I began to wonder if he was talking about my computer. What the problem was not the hard drive/motherboard causing the problem, but the power cord I had was not strong enough to hold a charge because once I got home and took it to Geek Squad at the Best Buy in Knightdale NC, I purchased an original OMEN laptop charger for $79.00 and that resolved my problem. However, not to mention Warp Computers gave me back someone else's charger that don't even goes with my computer. My computer is working just fine. They knew this and had me purchase an external hard drive that never was needed without disclosing the issue to me was the charger even after all the unwarranted labor fee and an external drive. This is incredibly underhanded and shows they cannot be trusted. Its also totally illegal! Its call theft by service and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Warp Computers Raleigh NC. They will help me get a resolution to my problems and concerns with hopes that another consumer will not have to go thru their unfair business practices. In summary, they sold me an SSD hard drive that wasn't needed and "forgot" to tell me the installation cost was twice the cost of the hard drive. All this knowing the computer was not worth the repair fees. These guys are scammers. Stay far away. read more

My first visit since they moved from Capital Blvd to this location a few years ago - which means I haven't had any computer issues in some time. So when the trusty laptop crashed, I took it to Warp. I got a few phone calls within the 1st hour of bringing it in asking if it was ok to try a few hopefully simple tasks to see if they could resolve the problem. Regretfully it didn't and a more complete effort was needed to solve the problem. I was quoted an exact fee over the phone to repair the problem. They said that the laptop would be ready in two days, and it was ready as promised. My only slightly negative comment was I would have appreciated more details when I picked up my laptop on what was the problem instead of saying "we did a complete wipe and reload." read more

Worst experience I ever had. They kept my computer well over two months, with sporadic follow-up calls. When they did call, it was to say they were still ordering another part to see if that would fix the issue with my Mac not powering up. They just kept ordering all kinds of parts and trying to see if that worked. Finally with no word in two weeks, and the 90-day mark coming up...I called them. MAGICALLY, my iMac was fixed and they had been trying to call me for two weeks. My phone was never disconnected, and I never had missed calls or voicemails. I think they were trying to get past 90-days to say my Mac was abandoned/unclaimed so they could resell it. Needless to say, I went off on the owner and told him to take out whatever shiz they put in that magically made it work after almost 3 months. When I no longer want to do business with them, it's fixed. Then one of the guys, innocent bystander, tried to charge me for parts AND labor. I was like listen you are only going to charge me for labor...not all those random arse parts that you guys ordered. Got my Mac back and begrudgingly took it to Apple-Southpoint. Which is another place of misery.... Come to find out those jokers at Warp Computers, OF COURSE, hadn't even put my system back together correctly and had plugged all kinds of drives/fans/whatnot in completely WRONG places. Essentially Warp Computers hadn't even plugged my internal fan back in. So essentially I would have received my "fixed" Mac back and it would have eventually overheated and messed up even more. Apple could only agree to fix the internal power supply (the initial issue)...which took them THREE days to do, but they can't fixed the fluck-ups that Warp Computers did. So now I had to take my Mac to another third party provider to fix EVERYTHING Warp Computers ignorantly sabotaged/had no experience with. BUT THEY SAY THEY WORK ON MACS! Don't go to these clowns. Just got a report back regarding work Warp Computers did on my Mac: Many screws missing SD card module port cord completely broken (no longer operable, ripped out) Speaker plugged in the completely wrong place MANY things plugged in the wrong place Thanks to Warp Computer, if I wanted to fixed everything they broke, THAT WASN'T BROKEN WHEN I TOOK IT IN THERE, it wouldn't make sense. One repair of Warp Computer, replacing the SD card module would cost $400. The guy at the new place said it wouldn't be advisable putting anymore money into at this point. I went to them for a simple replacement of a keyboard letter that had fallen off, not only did they charge way too much, but they also screwed up my battery and tryed to convince me that I needed to repair something that was a marginal issue. After I took it back so they could fix the battery they screwed up, I decided to fix the marginal issue before it became a problem, however, if I had known that they would charge well over 100 dollars on something that equates to gluing two parts of the laptop together I would definitely not have done it. Also, after having them fix this issue, they screwed up yet another part of my computer (the wifi port) and I'm currently borrowing a friends to write this.
