After 5 days, I took another infected computer to Triangle PC who also told me 2 days and hit that target. My computer died and I needed another computer quickly. A friend suggested Triangle PC Geek. Unlike many places that might try to up sell, Alfredo first showed me some reconditioned computers. I told him I wanted new and at least as fast and with as much storage as my last computer. Three hours later, I left with my new, improved computer, loaded with Office, that cost me the same amount as the last one (no Office). Why three hours? For $20 more, my files were transferred to the new computer. Yes, $20 That's very reasonable. What some might consider a drawback, the stock is limited, but I am not brand loyal. After a week, I called Alfredo with a question and learned I had 2 applications that will help my manage the computer with updates and cleaning out unnecessary files, also loaded by Triangle PC Geek. Had my cracked screen on iPhone 6 replaced. Told me it would take 20 minutes, but it took an hour and the lady was clearly struggling with whatever she was doing to it. Gave me an option for cash price or told me I could pay with a card but would be charged tax if I did. After a few weeks, the touch screen stopped working and I could see the glass was separating from the phone. I went back and the same woman told me she would fix it, but that my case was causing this to happen. She put on a new screen, I left the case off this time and it worked for another three weeks before it did it again. I went back and she told me she couldn't replace it again without charging me because at this point they were losing money on me. She took my phone in the back and came out 5 minutes later and handed it back to me saying she fixed it. I could see smudges on the phone and asked her if she glued it?? She said yes, with special glue that should hold the phone together until I could upgrade in s few months. 30 minutes later the glass had popped up off the phone again. Worst part is, I paid almost as much as I would have going thru Apple. Lesson learned. My phone is pretty much useless at this point. I would have been better off with the cracked screen. read more
