I found myself in the urgent need of a washing machine this week. Somehow I thought I could go into any big box store and purchase one and take it home same day. Nope! All these stores will happily sell you one but don't expect to see it for 5 to 7 days, if lucky :( Then in desperation I searched online "used appliances" and I found Capital Appliances and immediately drove to their store. Lorena was the person there that was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She guided me to a perfect solution. I immediately had a perfect solution with a gently used "new" washing machine. They put an ad on FB advertising a Black Friday sale with used appliances starting at $99. My dryer went out on Thanksgiving so went down there. The salesman said "oh that's just the ad, we don't have anything for $99." The cheapest dryer they had was $249 and it was pretty beat up. We left and went somewhere else. read more

Sold us a washer that almost flooded our brand new house and contacted them to let them know and they gave us a rude attitude and almost wouldn't schedule the appointment to get it fixed until we threatened to call the cops. I have honestly never wrote a review on a business, but I would strongly recommend to purchase your appliances elsewhere. This establishment sold me defective equipment and has a no return policy. Spoke with the owner Jay and he blamed the problem on me. Claims to stand behind his appliance and work, but does not offer refunds. I gave a review several months ago about this place and since then I have to say this place went above and beyond in helping us with the refrigerator we purchased from them. We had a few problems and we had to call them out. They came out faithfully and fixed our refrigerator and even brought a loaner for us to use until they could repair the one we got from them. We purchased a washer and dryer from Capital Appliances. I was impressed with their delivery option and 90 day warranty. However, the washer broke the week after the warranty was up. It was making strange noises from day 1 but we assumed it was different from what we had previously. Upon further research, we now know it shouldn't have been making that noise and was indicative of a problem from the beginning. I would stay away from this business. Purchased a washer and dryer set. The dry knob/switch on the dryer is broken beyond repair. Apparently the woman that we purchased from argued with my husband and told him it must of been our fault since we picked it up and did not pay extra for the delivery. We will have to bring it back in to be looked at or repaired. I understand their policies and reason for wanting to deliver so they can check everything and make sure it's good to go. However, I 100% know that this was not our fault and we purchased a product that was not properly inspected and is faulty. Also the employee working is the one who used the dolly to bring it over to us to load and she even asked a CUSTOMER shopping in the store to help load it. Please pay extra for delivery from this store or purchase elsewhere. I do not recommend this place or their business practices. read more

Not only were the prices right but the staff is excellent. They are super friendly, professional, and delightful to do business with. I was in and out in minutes. True worst experience ever!!!! This business is UNORGANIZED AND CARLESS. I called to see if they buy used appliances, Mellisa say YES ! I texted her a picture and she agreed to but it for $60. We confirmed her guys to come pick it up on a Tuesday, Tuesday comes and I call to make sure they are still coming. Another associate picks up and says she doesn't know what I'm talking about and they was no documentation saying they agreed to buy the stove and pick it up!!! SMH !! She then says she will call me back to check with her other coworkers. She NEVER called me back! I called her back the next day and she apologized and said someone will be coming that Friday. Then she says she can only buy it for $50 when Melissa agreed on $60. She then says she has to check with her boss to see if that price is okay!!! She then calls back and said it's fine! Friday comes and the guys come pick up the stove at 3pm and pay me with a signed check. 3 hours later One of the workers named MELISSA called me being so RUDE & NASTY! Saying my stove doesn't work and it has scratches and says I'm a dishonest person. I was in total shock!!!! I didn't know what was going on so I asked if she has me confused with someone else! She then sends me pictures of my once working stove ,with the heaters ripped our and the back falling apart (that's not how they took it) and says she's calling her bank to cancel the check and she said she's going to have the guys drop off the stove in my FRONT YARD!!! Melissa makes the whole company of Capital appliances looks bad! She doesn't deserve to be in business and I don't recommend anyone to ever spend money with them! I will tell everyone in real estate and my friends and family to NEVER shop there EVER!!!!! read more

This is the worst company and customer service we experienced. We purchased a washer and dryer. On the day of delivery the delivery guys did not hook either appliances, not only that..didn't even had tools to use for connection. I had to supply that as well. To make matter worst, they scratch both appliances and the owner had an attitude when I called to have them fix the scratches. She personally told me she would call back as soon as they had another set. NEVER heard from her or their office. Two days later the other owner came to hook the appliances and HE Said they would replace both doors that had the scratches. They are also Told both my husband I we had a 90 day warranty, now they said is 30 days. I will be sure to report them to the Better BudinBus Bureau as well. I wish I never purchased my appliances from these people. They need to close down their business if they are not going to honor what they say they would do! read more

The staff is so super friendly at Capital Appliances. They even offered me a drink. I really loved the washing machine I just bought from them. They delivered it to my home on time and worked with me on the deliverly date what would fit for me. I bought one that had a warranty and I had a minor issue with it on the first week but promptly JR came out and fixed it right up at no cost to me and took the time to teach me a few things about what went wrong with it which commonly happens with machines.The machine is working awesome now with no trouble. I am so excited! I loved chatting with EStefani who was such a delight & down to earth. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and make sure I was happy. This place is awesome. They sell used but stand by their word. That means a lot to me in todays society where a lot of businesses do not. This is going to be my GO to place for all my appliance needs. Trust is hard to earn these days but they have earned mine! read more
