Troy does amazing work on appliances. We have used him for our dishwasher and oven. He is very knowledgable and gets the job completed efficiently and completed in good time. The service charge of $110 is waved if you you hire him to complete the job. read more

Living in the neighborhood, appliance guys go to for any appliance repair. On time, great work, and good communication.

The appliance guy came over on time and fixed the clogged drainage right away. The job well done!

Incredible communication, follow through, customer service. LG washing machine was down with an LE error code - one visit to diagnose and all scenarios and costs were relayed to me. Another visit to repair - it turned out to be the least costly option. Heavy things were moved and put back in order to unstack the washer and dryer. A shelf was accidentally pushed somewhat out of the dry wall, but Troy told me immediately and this is an easy repair, so no worries, and I appreciated the professionalism of letting me know. Excellent service and very deserving of all the reviews. Worth the wait. read more

Something about being home 24/7 just made my appliances have melt downs! First, the oven wouldn't heat, This time,my dryer wouldn't heat! The appliance guy process did it right, right from the first call all the way thru the visit. I took about 3 days to find a time, and he arrived on time! My dryer is about 8 years old and the problem could have been several things. But he had a notion it was the element, checked it out first and was right! I had thought it was a circuit, and he checked that out too, which I thought was very thorough. I'm glad it didn't take a long time,he took the whole apparatus apart in about 2 minutes! He wore a hi-end mask the entire time, even though he was the only one in the small utility room. The dryer works great & I will gladly recommend them! read more

The Appliance Guy is now "my appliance guy!" The lid switch on my 20-year-old washer went out last week. Through Yelp, I put out three requests for quotes. They responded within 15 minutes, and they were the only ones I heard from that day. Originally, they weren't going to be able to come out for two weeks, but they worked things out so they could come within a few days. They gave me a two-hour window, and Javier called about 30 minutes before arrival. I liked that he gave me the price before he started the work, and I received an electronic receipt soon after he left. They charge $85 plus tax for a service call, or they charge for labor and parts (whichever is more). He was professional and efficient, and when I checked the washer after he left, I couldn't tell he'd been there. He even checked the condition of my washer and told me it was in good shape. For anyone who needs "a guy," The Appliance Guy is the one to call! read more

Had Troy come out to look at an issue with our fridge constantly cycling on and off. He was honest and informative - we ordered a replacement part (and scheduled the replacement) and then I decided to try the replacement on my own. He was great about cancelling the upcoming appointment and refunding me the deposit for the upcoming work. He even tried to get me to consider a new fridge vs investing in the cost of repair (even though I'm sure not doing a repair would have effected his bottom line.) Highly recommend. read more

Our tech did a great job! They were responsive, on time and a great value. I would recommend their service.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Steve! He was kind and honest, I could not have asked for a better repair man. I strongly recommend, I needed a new fridge, but like I said he was honest with me. read more

I have several rental properties and never could find a honest and fair appliance repair company....UNTIL NOW! Troy is a top notch technician who is reasonable and very personable. Today, he had to return to a refrigerator he had previously worked on and it a simple fix, but No Charge due to his 30 day guarantee! He has my business! read more

My dishwasher was repaired quickly & at a reasonable charge. Pleased with response & service guys were polite & answered my question. This will be my go to for appliance repairs. Thanks so much. read more

I think Appliance Guy gets you to ProConnect, a division of American Home Shield. You think they're local but you actually talk to someone in Tennessee who "connects" you with a local repairman. I had a very negative experience with Proconnect re repair of my refrigerator. I would avoid using them like the plague if you possibly can. They do not qualify their repair people and they do not stand behind their work. After a $400 repair, my refrigerator started doing the same thing 2 months later. When I called them, they said they only guarantee their work for 30 days and that I would have to start all over if I wanted it repaired. They also repeatedly try to sell you their home warranty plan. Very poor business to work with in my opinion! read more

Quick response! Professional, knowledgeable and friendly! Troy assisted me with my washer repair and the issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes. I am incredibly thankful and appreciative! read more

Troy returned my call within a day and was able to fit my dryer repair into his schedule quickly. He called to give a heads up before arriving and immediately got to work. Gave great tips on how maintenance that I could do on my own as well. He diagnosed and quoted within 10 min and even had the required parts with him. He was in and out within an hr and half. Price was very reasonable. I'd highly recommend to anyone needing repair on a dryer and will keep his number handy for another other appliance needs. read more

Samsung dryer was not drying. Very responsive when calling and leaving a message asking about service. Got worked into the schedule after a cancellation. Showed up on time. Very efficient. Appliance Guy recommended to me & so glad. Problem with ice forming on the bottom of the Samsung freezer. Troy called back immediately, scheduled an appointment to look at it within a week, called to follow up prior to arriving & was most thorough. Had the problem resolved & fixed within the hour. Highly recommend. read more

We had a fabulous first-time experience with the Appliance Guy appliance repair service for our washer. We decided to contact them because we had had a very negative experience with another repair service a few years ago for our oven, and because of their rave reviews online. The Appliance Guy responded quickly (on a Saturday!) to our online request for service that we completed on their website. This local family-owned company provides professionalism in every area -- communication every step of the way, expert diagnosis, timely service appointments, and fair and honest pricing. We have already recommended the Appliance Guy to family and friends. They truly epitomize their company's mission statement -- "Our company's mission is to provide honest, reliable service that stands head and shoulders above the rest." Yes, they are head and shoulders above the rest! read more

I first hired them for my washer at my home, Troy was able to diagnose the issue and get a fix that didn't require any replacement parts or additional work. I hired them again for a problem with my parents' freezer and a problem that was persisting for years was fixed, making my parents very happy. Troy is competent, friendly and very professional. I don't think of calling anyone else now. read more

I was impressed with Troy's willingness to come out late and address our issue. More impressed by his knowledge and care in fixing. Top notch!!! read more

Troy was great! Our garbage disposal stopped working and we researched and asked around before deciding to call Troy. He was to come out on the weekend, which we had requested. However, the broken disposal started causing more problems including water running onto the floor whenever we ran the dishwasher or turned on the sink. We called again and he came out the next day and put in a replacement at a very reasonable price. He was very personable as well. We are definitely keeping his card in case we have trouble with other appliances. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Having repaired customer equipment myself for the first 15 years and continued in technical customer service for a total of 42 years, I can affirm what others have said about The Appliance Guy. I recommend that you choose no one else to service your appliances. read more

I had a stove top downdraft that was stuck half way up. Troy came out and fixed it in 30min. Quick, easy and reasonable pricing. I didn't want to deal with it and so Troy is the quick go to. read more

I highly recommend Troy! He came out a few months ago to repair my refrigerator. Prior to coming, he asked about the make and model of my refrigerator and was able to make the repair in one visit. Due to his knowledge and expertise, he was able to anticipate the issue and repair it on the spot. His prices were very reasonable and he was extremely professional. He came in the evening so I didn't even have to take time off of work. Troy shared which online invoicing system he uses with my boyfriend who has his own business. I will only use The Appliance Guy in the future. read more

Troy is the owner of this business and also the one who comes out to you house. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to anything relating to appliances. I had him come out to my home to install a dishwasher and we ran into a few problems from whoever had installed the previous dishwasher. Not only did he fix the problems without hesitation but he would walk you through each step what and why he is doing it. Very fair priced and I will absolutely be using him again. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Appliance Guy. I have a 14 yr old appliance which needed repair. I contacted four appliance service companies, prior to contacting "Appliance Guy". Once I provided the age of my machine each stated "no need to repair, just buy a new machine". One actually did a service call to diagnose the issue, charged me a service fee to then state "no need to repair, just buy a new machine". Troy "Appliance Guy" not only schedule a date and time which worked best with my schedule, repaired my machine and supported me with repairing my machine until I decide it is time to purchase a new machine. Appliance Guy is a skilled professional who provides outstanding customer service. I will be sure to use Appliance Guy for all my appliance repair needs. read more

Troy and Christian (he's learning the business) showed up on time and took the time to diagnose the issue rather than just leap to part swapping. It was an easy fix that took a bit of ingenuity. Troy took the time to explain the issue and even fixed a problem that was caused during assembly. Very friendly, competent, quick, and thorough. The Appliance Guy is now our "go to" for any appliance issue. read more

Troy Zimmerman, owner of The Appliance Guy, came to our home today to look at our dryer. While it was a 'simple explanation', his assurance and very detailed review made me feel 110% better. Extremely professional, knowledgeable & explanation to me was more than I usually get when repairmen come to our home. I'd recommend him to any of my friends & family!! read more

He called and I gave him the make and model of microwave and a good idea of the problem before he came out. He arrived promptly to collect his service fee to let us know it was in fact broken and that he couldn't get parts for the appliance. Thanks! read more

I called him on the phone, told him what was happening to my refrigerator. He said it could be one of 3 things and equote me a possible price for the parts. He told his service and visit few. When he came check out my frig, he was correct with his suggestion. Had the parts in his truck and they were cheaper than his quote. I feel he was honest and a nice guy. He fixes all kinds of appliance and he has just become my regular for any appliance service needs. I would highly recommend. read more

Honesty I've never had a better repair experience than I did with Troy. My beverage cooler quit and was headed for the dump, but I connected with Troy and he repaired it for a fraction of the cost of replacing it, and, my bill was even less than his estimate. Can't recommend him highly enough. Glad I found him, I won't be using anyone else! read more
