DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They charges in 550.00 to supposedly tighten the water supply line of our fridge. They were also suppose to apply sealant around the gasket. We just found out that the water supply line was NEVER tightened NOR did the plumber use sealant to seal the gasket. SO, we have major water damage to the floors, baseboards, mold, etc. I spoke to the manager and he was combative and told me it was base the 90 day warranty! The water was leaking in the walls and into the crawlspace so we had no idea this was happening. No recourse, no apology! Also, I don't fault people for not speaking English BUT if you are doing BUSINESS, the people who answer the phone should be able to understand you. NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. read more

We have a Kitchen Aid Refrigerator that had quit cooling. I called Fred's Appliance Repair and scheduled for a service person to visit. The service person, Samir, arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. He diagnosed the issue and informed me that a part, requiring 5 business days to obtain, would be required. Samir provided me a price for the total repair job and asked if I wanted to have move forward? I agreed to the repair and a week later I was contacted and Samir was scheduled to complete the repair. The refrigerator was repaired and is now working fine. I honestly have nothing but favorable comments to make about the service I received. read more

Have them come out to repair a washer that was stuck in a spin cycle, they came out and said that the washer needed to be replaced with a new gasket as it was severely clogged shortly after they replace the part and we set the washer all of the water seeped out into my place of business throughout the carpet, and it flooded my workplace when I reached out for someone to come. They did come back out that day, but I have been asking for a manager or owner to call me and have yet to receive a phone call on flood damage.! they are now saying they need an additional two more parts as they realize a new coat that was never picked up originally that I am still waiting for an owner or a manager to call me on how this could have happened . Charged me a diagnostic fee on microwave/oven that was not working. Listened to my description but did not inspect remove or dismantle appliance. No inspection at all, told me I needed to pay $1,000 for multiple control boards and labor. I declined. GE appliance came and removed dismantled and inspected unit and identified a small part that had failed and caused issue. $350 for parts and labor. Fred's charges for diagnostic service but performs no diagnostic work then quotes repair that required unnecessary parts. read more

The issue was a refrigerator that made a horrible rattling sound, traced to a faulty defrost unit. Abi was a delight: friendly, but also very respectful of our time and space. Bottom line: they got the job done at an acceptable cost. Definitely recommended !! read more

Our GE Gas Oven Range stopped working with an error code of F350. Called USA Appliance Repair and got a technician the same day. (Fred's Appliance Report. The technician stated it was a control board issue. He quoted $875 dollars to repair the oven. We declined. Went online to locate the control board. The cost was $112.00 dollars. I went online and found out how to replace this board. Once replaced we got the same error. Did more trouble shooting online and found that it was the lower cooler fan. All i did was clean the fan and everything worked. I placed the old control board back in place and put the oven back to working order. Bottom line I will not trust calling Fred's Appliance Repair ever. Or USA Appliance Repair Service read more

I cannot praise Furkan Kara enough. He was on time and very professional. I had purchased a range and was told it could not be adjusted. He worked with the range adjustments until I was satisfied. Update: Finally received my refund so adjusting my review. While I did not have a good experience, I'm sure this isn't common. Original Review: I had a rough experience with Fred's Appliance Repair after my dishwasher broke last month. While I understand that some issues may be out of their control, the real problem was the lack of communication and poor customer service from the office. The technician was fine. Here's what happened: * I contacted them on August 11. To their credit, they responded quickly and sent a technician the next day. * The technician diagnosed the issue as a faulty control panel and quoted me $440: $220 for the part, $200 for labor, and an $80 service fee. Talking to the new company I went with, they would have charged me half of that for labor. * Not wanting to lose the $80 fee, I agreed to the repair. I was told the part would arrive in 3-4 days. Over the next three weeks, I had to keep reaching out for updates., they told me the part had to be reordered. A week later, I was told it "never arrived". At that point, they gave me the option to wait again or cancel the repair. After a full month without a working dishwasher and no reliable timeline, I decided to cancel. I ended up buying a brand-new stainless steel dishwasher from Lowe's for $400 and had it installed quickly by someone else. read more

I reached out to them to diagnose and repair my washer. They came collected their service call fee and 50 percent deposit for part. Was suppose to come back. Set up appointment day and time. They were a no show. When I called, I got the run around and still have not had anyone to show up to repair my washer 4 days after the scheduled return repair date and still no repair but yet they have my money for the part. I call and get some type of call center that is utterly useless. read more

If there was a minus that is what I would give them. I needed repair on my frigidare refrigerator/freezer. I was running it on high setting. Repair tech came 2 days after I put in a work order through my rental company. All the trouble started there. The tech did not know how to put in a proposal, the company did not call me to let me know about placing a proposal. My rental company reached out to them to get there proposal. I kept reaching out to see if they were going to do the work. They wanted a deposit from either me or the company before ordering the parts. There customer service skills are completely lacking. I wouldn't recommend them for anything to anybody. I gave them 1 star just to get this posted. read more

Stay away from these people. They will take your money and you'll never hear from them when there's a problem with their work. $480 later and my washing machine has the same problem. Our GE dryer was making a loud noise, and tech was able to diagnose and install new rollers to replace worn ones in about an hour, on the second visit, as new parts had to be ordered. Happy with the service and I will use them again if I need an appliance repaired. read more

The technician needed my help to lift the drum on my washing machine. While we were working, the cable to the control board broke off, and I needed to replace the entire control board. This could have been prevented if the technician disconnected the board and placed it away from the work area. read more

Very fast and efficient service. We had Salih as a technician to fix our Whirlpool dishwasher. He was able to come out the same day as my call, diagnose it, order the part, and had it fixed up by the end of the week. Cost of the part plus labor was very fair. I would be glad to do business with him and this company again. read more

Our refrigerator died the Saturday before Christmas. Fred's was very responsive and arrived on Saturday within a few hours of my reaching out. A part was required and our tech. promptly returned on Monday to replace it. read more
