Ifix charged $1200 to repair my wine fridge which stopped cooling several weeks after repair service. They returned to fix the second time which also lasted 1-2 weeks before breaking again. They refused to warrant their service. Basically, I paid them $1200 for an appliance that still doesn't work. read more

Contacted through Yelp. The chat was quick and to the point and they got me on the schedule for the day I needed help with my dryer. They gave me a 3-6pm window for arrival and I was told they'd let me know when the tech was on the way, and they didn't. He just showed up and I didn't really appreciate that because I have pets to get out of the way. But the work was done quickly and done well. I'd call them again if needed! read more

They were quick and efficient, able to diagnose immediately and since the problem wasnt severe, they only charged me for the diagnostic.

Ifix answered our request for service and the tech came out the next day. When they answered back the starting price was $69.99. The tech fixes the dishwasher which had to be secured back into the cabinet where it was initially installed. Guy fixes it then turns to my wife and I and says" my boss needs me to charge $186 for the service!" My wife says "what about its $69.99" guy then says "ok it $69.99" This is shady BS. Is this guy working on profit for himself, do they not have a structured pricing program. This was and easy job. Steer clear of this company. read more

They were No show for scheduled time 11am-2pm, that was scheduled a day in advance. Waited the entire time, no call no show. read more

Had a scheduled appointment from 12-3 for dishwasher not working, the repairman calls at 2:30 says he will be at my house around 3:30. At 5pm no repairman, so I call him since he did not call me and says he is still at another job. Does not even call to let customer know they are running late, had to call them, do not recommend at all. So wasted a day sitting at home for no one to show up. read more

Our service man, Andrew, was on-time listened carefully and had full answers to the problems we'd been having with our washing machine. He walked us through the repair costs and issues. He did not pressure us to fix something would not have been cost-effective for us. Overall, a pleasant and exceptional repair service experience. read more

Service: Fridge repair Cost: 4.5 Communication: 4.5 Responsiveness: 5 Date: 8/23/2024 Submitted a Yelp Project request to inspect and repair a rental's leaking fridge and within minutes, Ifix Appliances responded with a text and schedule options for the next day. Upon selecting them, a $70 service fee is requested which is very reasonable and is applied to the cost of the repair. You can pay either over the phone or via a Stripe link. The technician arrived within the 2 hour window and a call from, apparently, the office, provided the results of the inspection and the repairs needed, along with the cost. I'm not sure what her name was, but when I answered, she rattled off about 60 words a second, none of which were decipherable, so I asked that she start over and slow down. After that, she did great. Once the repair was done, another link was sent with the cost minus the already paid service fee. Very smooth transaction, good communication and quick response. Highly recommended. read more

refridgerator/freezer stopped cooling and freezing. Found Ifix thru google search and yelp. Reviews looked good and reasonable service charge. contacted late Thursday afternoon on line and scheduled Friday. time was 9-12am. Technician Anton arrived around 915 , very pleasant and went right to work. After testing discovered a minor freon leak apparently been going on for a while. Recommended recharge freon....no pressure to tear apart ( 20 year old unit ) and suggested a sealant as well. So far so good and working like a charm. I would call them agaon and request Anton. Ifix you are fortunate to have this young man. Please pass this along to him read more

My clothes dryer is working again! Kostyantyn did a great job. Service the same day I called. Diagnosed and replaced the thermal fuse, also cleaned a ton of lint out of the machine and the vent hose. Charged the price he quoted with the diagnosis, no surprise extras. Six month warranty. I'll look to Ifix when I have other appliance repair needs. read more

I have now had 2 repair calls. Not a good thing but this company was professional, they respond quickly. Anton even came back and finished refrigerator repair on a Saturday morning. We were very appreciative. The price was reasonable as compared to other companies. I would highly recommend them! read more

Technician was prompt and eventually repaired the appliance. The major problem was communication as Technician had strong accent indicating English was not primary language. First replacement part did not solve problem. Second did, but additional part was damaged in process. Upon promise that the damaged part would be sourced and installed at Technician expense, we paid repair invoice. Still waiting for him to return, but have no confidence we will see him again. read more

After three years of intensive, daily use, we had our oven go belly up on us here in Durham NC. I looked around for a service company that would come and do the repair on the same day that the oven said "goodbye," and I had a hard time finding one. So, we called IFIXAPPLIANCES in Raleigh (ifixappliances.raleighnc@gmail.com) and they very quickly sent us Anton. Anton had done previous work for us, and I was glad that he was available - I have a lot of confidence in his competence . . . and that capacity of his goes beyond ovens to all sorts of household big ticket appliances including laundry machines, dish washes, and on and on. He tells you what he's going to do, does the work, is systematic in his approach to problem solving - a high level of professionalism, politeness, and home repair/maintenance know-how. He ordered the parts for the repair, told us he'd have them in three days, and then came by to do the work on Saturday evening. I give him high marks for weekend work. Prices are very reasonable, warranty arrangements are good and strong. I recommend IFIXAPPLIANCES unreservedly. They do good work. read more

The service was prompt and same day. It was perfect for my refrigerator emergency. The fix was applied in a timely manner. The technician was very nice and informative. I was very pleased with the work he provided. The price was very fair. It was well below the flat rate that LG was going to charge to send out a similar kind of technician. The fix applied did not fix my machine as it had reached the end of its life, but I would call them again. read more
