Ifix answered our request for service and the tech came out the next day. When they answered back the starting price was $69.99. The tech fixes the dishwasher which had to be secured back into the cabinet where it was initially installed. Guy fixes it then turns to my wife and I and says" my boss needs me to charge $186 for the service!" My wife says "what about its $69.99" guy then says "ok it $69.99" This is shady BS. Is this guy working on profit for himself, do they not have a structured pricing program. This was and easy job. Steer clear of this company. read more

Upon selecting them, a $70 service fee is requested which is very reasonable and is applied to the cost of the repair. You can pay either over the phone or via a Stripe link. The technician arrived within the 2 hour window and a call from, apparently, the office, provided the results of the inspection and the repairs needed, along with the cost. I'm not sure what her name was, but when I answered, she rattled off about 60 words a second, none of which were decipherable, so I asked that she start over and slow down. After that, she did great. Once the repair was done, another link was sent with the cost minus the already paid service fee. Very smooth transaction, good communication and quick response. Highly recommended. read more

refridgerator/freezer stopped cooling and freezing. Found Ifix thru google search and yelp. Reviews looked good and reasonable service charge. contacted late Thursday afternoon on line and scheduled Friday. time was 9-12am. Technician Anton arrived around 915 , very pleasant and went right to work. After testing discovered a minor freon leak apparently been going on for a while. Recommended recharge freon....no pressure to tear apart ( 20 year old unit ) and suggested a sealant as well. So far so good and working like a charm. I would call them agaon and request Anton. My clothes dryer is working again! Kostyantyn did a great job. Service the same day I called. Diagnosed and replaced the thermal fuse, also cleaned a ton of lint out of the machine and the vent hose. Charged the price he quoted with the diagnosis, no surprise extras. Six month warranty. I'll look to Ifix when I have other appliance repair needs. read more

Technician was prompt and eventually repaired the appliance. The major problem was communication as Technician had strong accent indicating English was not primary language. First replacement part did not solve problem. Second did, but additional part was damaged in process. Upon promise that the damaged part would be sourced and installed at Technician expense, we paid repair invoice. After three years of intensive, daily use, we had our oven go belly up on us here in Durham NC. I looked around for a service company that would come and do the repair on the same day that the oven said "goodbye," and I had a hard time finding one. Anton had done previous work for us, and I was glad that he was available - I have a lot of confidence in his competence . . . and that capacity of his goes beyond ovens to all sorts of household big ticket appliances including laundry machines, dish washes, and on and on. He tells you what he's going to do, does the work, is systematic in his approach to problem solving - a high level of professionalism, politeness, and home repair/maintenance know-how.
