Village Appliances ROCKS!!! I spent a week calling around and going to various used appliance…read morecenters because my washer had stopped working. All these places advertise $99 washers (which was about all I had at the time) and when I go look, most of them were 25 to 50 years old...well, you know what I mean. I'd not pay $100 for a washer like that. Then, everything else was $199 and up. Don't waste your time with any of the used appliance places around town, they are just trying to rip you off. I then tried Craigslist and Facebook but everyone thinks their 10 year old washer is worth a fortune and the few that did not could not deliver. I don't have a truck and could not afford the ridiculous delivery fees charged around here. So, I called Village Appliances and they came the same day (they came Saturday around 9PM). I texted them a photo, told them what it was doing and got a diagnosis, a price and the base service charge if they did nothing (way lower than anyone in town). They came, they conquered and I am back in business for $150. I could not find a decent used washer for that amount. Great job guys. I will be recommending you to all of my friends. Thanks!

Looking for parts not to mention an appliance repair company is like looking for a needle in a haystack, pardon the expression. Fortunately, I found MCE services, called, spoke with the owner, Mark, and sent an email with make and model. I was pleasantly surprised that timing was perfect and Mark came the same day and replaced the heating element in Kenmore dryer. A great experience with a local and veteran owned business, my pleasure to recommend and refer Mark for servicing and repairing appliances.

He finished the job in literally under 10 minutes, replaced the failed belt tensioner with a better engineered tensioner unlikely to fail in the future, and even mentioned what we should do were the dryer to ever become less quick at drying laundry (inspect the ducting leading to the outside as it might restrict airflow over time due to its routing). Unequivocally recommended.
