Estimate for dishwasher install was quoted to be $235-285 and he was ready to quote me $320. Probably because he took much longer than the company expects the job to take. 4. When he showed up, I asked him how many dishwashers he has installed, and he replied 2-3. For future, if someone has only installed 2-3, send them with a more experienced tech to provide oversight. I was glad I was there, because if it would have only been my wife, he had some questions that only I could answer. Just under experienced overall. 5. The company did respond that day and services that evening, this was good. 6. The internet response for the appointment was spotty at best. 7. If you want service done the day of the issue, it will likely be overpriced and may be an inexperienced technician.

ADVANCED APPLIANCE & AIR REPAIR I cannot recommend Advanced…read moreAppliance and Air Repair highly enough. As a homeowner and the owner of a rental property, I have had more than a few instances where I had to call in help to fix an appliance. I have used this company over the years to repair a dishwasher, dryer, fridge, and oven. I have always found them to be responsive to requests for help, prompt in providing service, knowledgeable about the appliance they were asked to repair, and willing to explain what the issues were. They showed up exactly when they said they would and (upon request) called ahead to let me know they were on their way. I am currently using a home warranty program. Recently I had a problem with my dishwasher and the home warranty program sent out a technician from a different repair company. They did arrive promptly but kept changing the diagnosis and said they could not repair the dishwasher because the part was no longer available. I insisted on a second opinion with the home warranty program and specifically requested they send Advanced Appliance. Advanced Appliance were able to diagnose the problem and fix my dishwasher. Thank goodness the home warranty program utilized the services of Advanced Appliance and Air Repair. I now know I need to request them up front any time I have any issues with any of my appliances.

I have been in the repair business for close to 30-years. I previously worked at Mr Appliance of Durham/Chapel Hill. For close to 4-years. I left that job because of the price hikes and overall customer satisfaction. Corporate America can really take you to the "ringer" when it comes to repair folks. I think everyone knows this. Enter in Pro Appliance. I have been working for this company just shy of two months. In the almost 30-years I have worked, I have worked for numerous companies that just didn't care about anything but "$". Facts! I have never worked for a company with as much integrity as the people that work here. That's just being honest. I will tell you this, stay away from Mr Appliance of Durham/Chapel Hill.
