Their tech told us he was unable to diagnose the exact problem because he could not find a wiring diagram (because of the oven's crazy "Canadian" origins). He thought is was "probably" the control board (an $800 nonrefundable part). I did NOT demand a full refund. I wanted the $70, charged for a part (thermostat) that was not needed (and was the wrong part anyway.) I became quite frustrated and hung up because Aaron was incredibly rude and condescending and had stated categorically there would be no refund at all. I didn't threaten -- I told him I would share my experience with this company, which I did.

I have been in the repair business for close to 30-years. I previously worked at Mr Appliance of Durham/Chapel Hill. For close to 4-years. I left that job because of the price hikes and overall customer satisfaction. Corporate America can really take you to the "ringer" when it comes to repair folks. I think everyone knows this. Enter in Pro Appliance. I have been working for this company just shy of two months. In the almost 30-years I have worked, I have worked for numerous companies that just didn't care about anything but "$". Facts! I have never worked for a company with as much integrity as the people that work here. That's just being honest. I will tell you this, stay away from Mr Appliance of Durham/Chapel Hill. You WILL be over charged for your repair. That's not to say "every" Mr Appliance is the same way. Just know, when you're dealing with "corporate" America? They care about "$". Pro Appliance has a good reputation because of the traditional way customer service is down. Period!
