1st related to AT&T is their U-Verse service. We live on some acreage outside the subdivision areas. Starting with dial-up to the current 'Hi-Speed' U-Verse there's only been AT&T for 30+ years. The 'Hi-Speed' fiber optic service isn't capable of streaming Thursday night football on Prime (under 10 Mbps). No audio and the video starts and stops. The commercials play great. I called their outsourced Philippine customer service because I got a strange double bill. It had my usual bill with my hidden discount for being a 2 tour combat vet from 55 years ago (I'm old) and an extra $175.00 bill on the back. This was on my October bill no less. She proceeded to tell me it was for May and June when my auto payment bounced. Which is ridiculous. They cut you off real quickly if your behind. Well today is D-Day to pay it! Now about the AT&T Store! There's no place here to post for the Slidell, LA store on Airport Rd. I dropped off my trade-in for a new Apple 15 pro max last year. I was supposed to get a $1,000 trade-in on my still new looking 1 year old phone. I asked for a receipt and was told they had no method for giving one. I made him sign a hand written receipt showing it was received by the AT&T Store on Airport Rd. Slidell, LA. Sadly, I didn't notice they did the same thing for my wife's Samsung Fold. That's 2 Grand AT&T! They showed a $50 very old fold-out keyboard phone as a trade-in. A POC I never owned 15 years ago. Both trade-ins, I bought boxed on eBay that looked new but called 'refurbished' for $350 each. So that's $700 more I lost because evidently a employee stole them. As a retired cop, I called the local yocals in Slidell to make out a report. I still have my badge but I was state and I don't ask for special treatment. I've been with AT&T Cell service since my $4,000 1984 Motorola DynaTAC 8000X I still have. Nothing came of it and I stopped using AT&T cell service. I have 15+ cellphones that all look brand new. After you pay off your $50 a month bargain phone, you have to kindly ask them to unlock it. After my ordeal I knew they wouldn't. So, I sold them dirt cheap on eBay as AT&T locked service cellphones. We ended our bargain $225 a month DirecTV and my new monthly cell service cost $15. No dropped calls or texts. So my big beautiful flat screens are just black in a few rooms for now and watch everything online. Spectrum just showed up but their reviews are worse then AT&T! So, 30+ years of AT&T! internet is still up today. I was cheated by AT&T on 2 trade-ins that disappeared but 2 strange 'Pen' something cells with fold-out keyboards were substituted for my 2 $1,000 trade-ins and with a $50 trade-in credit for each. I don't care if they Ding my credit rating because I'm old and it won't matter. I'm sorry, this is way too wordy. I will take it down soon! read more

Do NOT got to the store. They are the worst. Went there to purchase a new phone because my screen was shattered. Ordered the Iphone 12 , which had to be delivered to my house. They said when it was delivered i could return my old phone for 300$. There was no return paperwork when I received my new phone , so I returned to the store. The employee, who was rude to start with, (probably because i wasnt a sale) told me he had no idea why the other employee told me I could return the phone because I couldnt. When i asked to speak to a manager, there was none working. I return a few days later, to two managers working. I asked to speak to a manager but waited and waited and waited ( for over an hour). When one of the managers went to the tv and started scrolling through the channels and watching tv- I finally left. Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. read more

Avoid them & go to elsewhere! I've been a AT&T customer for well over 10yrs. They have different rules from every other store or affiliate of AT&T. An authorized user is allowed to pick up, per AT&T email after purchasing; NOT at this store! The customer service is lackluster. Scam scam scam. I was told that with my first responders discount that I basically receive the new Apple Watch free with the purchase of the iPhone 14 max. Originally I told the employee that I had a new watch so it's ok but she insisted it would be basically free. After the transaction was made I told the employee I don't see the discount on the receipt. She then said she made a mistake and I do get a discount but one at a much lower rate. Basically I'm still paying for a whole new watch while saving about 30 bucks...not a deal when you have a watch. The issue is I didn't put two and two together til I got home, so when I went to return the watch I'm then told I have to pay a 55 restocking fee!!!! Long story short just get what you originally went to the store for. They just want the commission. read more

If i could leave a negative review I would. I have been a long time customer and my family retired from ATT. Worst experience here in my life. I went in to turn my phone in and I was rudely treated by a young man working there with glasses. He refused to help me. I literally only wanted to be able to mail my phone back to the company as I was told to do by customer service on the phone. When he wouldn't help me and threatened to change my bill without permission I asked to speak with a manager. He got in my face and said "Oh! Your one of those! You disgust me. You make me want to throw up!" Then sneered at me and told me he would never help me and I could leave. He threatened my phone service. I did tell him to f off at that point and asked another rep to get me a manager. I asked for a manager to which they did not solve my problem but sent me to customer service. And it so happened to be my birthday also. Thanks ATT for a memorable day of being verbally assaulted by their representative. The managers did nothing as he continued to attempt to insert himself into my conversation with the manager on multiple occasions. I had to tell him to leave from around me multiple times. ATT did nothing to correct this issue and did not do anything to provide any form of customer service. read more

I walked in and waited for 25 minutes and no one was available to help me. Some customers had 2 at&t representatives with them. Some at&t reps seemed to be just goofing off and not really doing much. This store either needs to hire more people or get their employees to work. I witnessed 1 female worker inform the manager about something and the manager asked if she told the customer something and the worker says yes and rolls her eyes at the manager. That was so unprofessional. read more

I came to this store a few weeks ago to purchase a portable charger and the representative was very lack luster. Also I tried to catch the store to purchase a pop socket and they were already closed and locked up with the lights off and employees gone at 7:50 ! read more

I tried calling today the store for an "in store" Representative to discuss store specials as online and toll free numbers when called have different sales or upgrade specials. I was put three times back in phone queue. This is par for the course with this store. Each of the last two times I've went in to actually do upgrades specials were great but customer service lacked on giving all details that you might need to know for future issues or billing. read more

Don't waste your time at this store. It's small and apparently has "weak wifi" which is why they will tell you they cannot do a lot of things that other at&t stores do easily. The customer service is awful. They honestly will never offer to do more than the bare minimum. They will either tell that you must do it yourself or send you next door to the "iPhone repair shop" which is sketchy to me (same owner?) My personal examples are calling customer service to verify plan features would transfer to new phone (nope, had to do that myself) to mobile data transfer (told me to do it at home and come back). The general demeanor of the employees is uncaring and impatient. read more

I was greeted politely but that's about it. Otherwise, This was the worst experience I've ever had at an AT&T store. I stopped in simply to buy a charger and was put on the list. I thought it was a little strange at first that I couldn't just check out but was willing to wait. That is until I saw the manager and an employee goofing off taking selfies together. I approached Jen (the manager) and Tyler P and asked if I could please pay for the charger. They acted incredibly inconvenienced and were both very rude. I explained I didn't need any help just to pay so did not think I should have to wait. Tyler told me that I was lucky because he was about to go on his break, or that I would HAVE to wait in line. Why are they there if not to help people. The place should close down if they're not in the business of making sales and being polite to costumers. Keep on driving! This location deserves zero stars! Horrible customer service. Absolutely no help... our salesman rushed us through everything like the place was on fire! He also added things on our account we did not ask for or ok (insurance/tech support/etc.). Straight lied about trading in our old phones. Told us they did not offer that! Very unprofessional and very dissatisfied with the service we received. We have been with AT&T for years, but considering a change now. i recently bought an i phone 11. i had issues with the phone so i went to the store and was greeted by an employee under the tent outside the store. he was quick to tell me he could not help me and that it was a software problem. i have never experienced such poor customer service in my life.your store in covington on highway 190 is awful. everything was great when i spent $2400.00 dollars on phones for me and my husband. like i said ; your customer service is pathetic. if i had read the reviews prior to my purchase i would have chosen a different store. pathetic! read more

The sales representatives are liars and push products on you that can be purchased on Amazon. A representative kept insisting I had to purchase the screen protector through the store because if it broke and the screen broke I was covered. Well the screen protector failed and the screen broke and they said no, they could replace the screen protector not the screen and I can buy another phone. Why would I want another screen protector that failed? They will lie to your face and say anything to make a sale on accessories, which by the way, are far higher in margins to the sales people then any phone they sell.
