DO NOT sign-up for U-verse no matter HOW GOOD the deal sounds! AT&T TRIED and tried to install U-verse at my at my home in Carson and NEVER COULD get it working! The tech could identify my lines in the junction box (down the street), he could see a few of my neighbors connected to the new U-verse equipment (in the box), but for whatever reason ~ he could not connect mine. His boss tried, the techs in the switching equipment room tried. The official AT&T programmers tried too, but NO ONE could get their equipment to make the required U-verse connections! More bad news, because AT&T "TRIED" the u-verse install and it did NOT work, I am NOT ELIGIBLE for *any* future AT&T promotions or deals and they mean forever. AT&T also REFUSED to restore my original DSL connections (also with AT&T) because, "DSL is all going away anyway" so too bad for me. After HOURS of phone calls and wasted time AT&T supervisors finally agreed to restore my original DSL connection. Apparently ~ "Once you switch you can't go back"! *** PLEASE see my other NEGATIVE U-verse review for my elderly parents home in San Pedro! It's been a THREE MONTH PLUS NIGHTMARE for them! I been having phone problems from not being able to charge my phone to phone freezing and on both occasions Joji has helped me. He knows so much about phones it's crazy! He is very friendly and polite and every time I have had issues with my phone he finds a resolution. I bought an Iphone X and a apple watch series 3 back in January with Juan. I was told a phone line needed to be added for the watch the work. The guy supposedly set everything up. I noticed that the watch wouldn't work if it was out of range from the phone. I thought it was something with normal given that it happened at work where signal was poor. But then I learn that the apple watch can be used without a phone number and noticed that the AT&T plan showed not in use. I come to the store to get help from Juan. He is literally avoiding us. This is wrong. He finally comes over to help and admits that he doesn't know how to sync up the watch and the phone. So why do you sell it? And the most messed up part was that the billing department tried to blame it on us saying that we should've asked them to sync it... well, the guy doesn't even know how and never told me that he only synced it up through Bluetooth so how was i supposed to know that it wasn't set up probably? Recently sign up for the u-verse services & family plan, The sales person lied to us he gave us the prices for our family plan & u-verse services . The deal sounded good, the manager estimated price and we added about $25.00 in taxes to give us an idea of how much we would be paying. Well guess what? The bill is over $75.00 that we had estimated, Nope no one is going over minutes or data usage. Called At & T and the rep stated that they are sorry that's all they keep saying Guess who's stuck with a 2 year contract YUP dam right us not them . The Manager at this location keeps saying Oh I'm sorry that was the promotion. I bet his not Sorry when he got his Bonus at the end of the month. Lesson learned No more AT&T FOR us cancellation is $300 and they deduct about $10.00dollars every month you stay in your contract ...So that's about $50.00 for us but we have 4 wireless lines U-verse internet cancellation fee oh plus the home phone....Run away from and don't look back If a offer sounds too good to be true then it is read more

Horrible service. Employees stand around talking to each other, no wonder they put a self-help kiosk. Employees will lie to you and assure you that they're telling you the truth, but when you go back the same manager says that they never said that. I've been coming to the Carson store as a regular AT&T customer and I've been nothing but satisfied. The associates there are always friendly and they're always giving me the best customer service. A couple of weeks ago I went in and I was shocked to see so many new faces. Apparently they've hired some new people on board which can be a good and a bad thing. Two new girls greeted me as soon as I came in. One girl in particular stood out to me, bright smile, stylish, and looked very professional. I thought she was the new manager. Later found out she was "just one of the reps" as the guy who helped me stated with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes. But she seemed to be very helpful with her customers. Wish I would have gotten her to help instead of the new guy I got. Geez, I felt like I was being sold the whole interaction. He gave me the lamest answers to my questions and kept cutting me off to try to sell me something I didn't need or ask for. And then next thing I know he's telling me his life story as an army man. Dude, I'm glad you served your country but I'm here about my phone. If he wasn't talking about himself then he was trying to sell me anything he could think of. One of the most awkward customer service experiences I've had in a while. From what I observed, the other new faces seemed to have natural presence. They're customers didn't have the look of death. I've gone to this AT&T for years...normally the service is great...I went in last night and one of the ladies that works there did say hi and acknowledged me...and she was with a client already...so I just wondered around for a few minutes then sat down...as soon as another person walked in the same lady who works there said hi to her as well but asked her if she'd like to be put her name on the list...I said I didn't know there was a list...so the lady who works there said "oh you were here first?"...I'll add you to the list is that ok before her.' That was nice of her, but by this time I was already irritated...I just said I was going to come another day because it would take to long to get a new phone...also...when I walked in...which was about 8:15 pm...another employee was just looking at me as if to say I can't believe you're here at this time...and she just stared at me...bottom line...customer service was not the best... read more

Just visited the store on the recent iPhone 5 debut date. The store was busy and I was greeted by some very hard working people. Not sure what store the reviewer who gave "one star" visited but, it was not this one. I came to the store to get help with reactivating service after my daughter's phone was stolen the night previous. I happened to be helped by the store manager, Trish, who was so helpful and understanding. I was not there trying to buy an expensive iPhone but rather, I was there to get an old iPhone 3S working. Trish showed us the same level of service and professionalism that all of the other customers received. This store is miles from where I live and this store was the only one that gave me the appreciative greeting. I will be purchasing two new iPhone 5's when the stock is replenished and I have decided to come back here to purchase my phones. In fact, I was ready to dump AT&T after having such a horrible experience with Uverse but, Trish talked me through some issues and I am giving this another chance! We all have choices in this competitive market but people like Trish and the Carson store staff have kept me with AT&T. Thanks! read more
