Upon arriving at the store we were welcomed and told to sign in. There were comfortable bench seats to sit while we waited. You can make an appointment and not have to wait. We didn't but the wait was not long. The service was excellent. We were buying four new cell phones, keeping our old phone numbers and trading in four phones and changing carriers. I thought it was a very daunting task. But the manager Darren was very good. So was Bryan who was doing a lot of the technical work. They were able to do all of this and we were able to walk out of the store with working new phones. Great service! My tip is to make an appointment so that there is no wait time! read more

Before I went to the store I made an appointment. Usually it crowed. When I went in it wasn't busy at all and I was seen before my appointment. The lady that helped me was nice. I thought I had to get a new phone, when all I needed was a new SIM card. Parking however can be horrible. read more

Been coming to this store for years but we've never really had a 5-star service until last week when Joji took care for us. He hooked us up with a free iphone 7 for sigining up to Direct TV to replace our expensive ATT Uverse subscription! There was also an offer to get ipad mini 2 for only $80 dollars if we subscribe to a data line for 2 years at $10/month. Still cheap I think. But nevertheless, even without the free stuff, Joji had great customer service! This store under the management of Liz has restored my faith and belief in AT&T customer service. Unlike the Hawthorne and El Segundo store which I hear is closing for remodeling but may not open which is great because they suck. This store gets crowded so get here early or make an appointment but it's worth it they work with you til the job is done and your satisfied. read more

Out of all the phone places I've been to this has had to be the worst one. The customer service in this place was horrible. Virginia had to be the rudest person I came into contact with. We tried to work on our plan and she rushed us. If she didn't have the time or simply didn't want to do her job properly that day she should have just told us so we could have waited for someone who would have. The entire time she talked to us like we were children. And rushed the process just to get us out then once we left we noticed she made a mistake so we had to drive all the way back. When we came back she told us she couldn't change the mistake she made and once again rushed us out. My only advice is if you go here do not go to her. Hope this helps. read more

I fell for probably one of the oldest scams that you can fall for. I'm still mad at myself for it. So i received a call this morning from an 800 number the guy who sounded like from India or somewhere out there said he was with At&t and wanted to ask 3 questions about how my service with At&t was and that they would take 30% off my monthly bill next month minded i was in that mind set of how service is across voice and data so i wanted to say how data service was slow in some of the areas i frequent. so after all of that wasn't thinking when he asked to verify my zip code and last four digits of my SSN boy i should have caught on by then but stupid me i went along thinking i was talking to a legit person from At&t boy was i wrong. After the call i googled the 800 number and it came up as At&t's number but then i saw At&t survey scam and i was like man i feel for it and was pissed i think my blood pressure went twice as high that i got scammed. So i called At&t and they looked at my acct and put a security passcode that i would have to provide anytime i want to access my acct. They noted on my acct about what happened and reason for the code. Then i asked about my sim card and they said go to your nearest store its free of charge to replace. Ok finally on the review of this store. The store is located in a small area with a Quiznos, Game Stop and Starbucks so parking is very limited here. I walk in and there were a few customers the guy asked my name and said there were 2 people ahead of me. They have a very good organized system so that you're not waiting forever or having people cutting ahead of you. Lucy helped me she was very nice and really provided great customer service understood my needs and was sympathetic with my situation and also looked over my account to make sure nothing was changed without my consent and assured me if anything was it would be taken care of. This is the second time i've been to this one the first time when i came back after testing out Verizon and this time. Two good experiences here for me. I still can't believe of these f'ing scammers taking advantage of innocent hard working people what has our world come too you can't trust anyone nowadays. read more

Do not know how it is possible, nor am I surprised but this location is worse than the Compton one. It is always crowded and the employees that can help you spend up to an hour per person. Then you have the other employees with different colored shirts who's sole purpose is to do absolutely nothing, and then another waste of an employee at the door to take your name and put you on the don't hold your breath list, I'm done with this place. And to top it off, the parking lot is a truck's nightmare. read more

Dreaded coming in because I thought I was going to have a hard time. First I went to another location (closer to work) which she tried to help, but really was no help. I went to this location and told Joji I was interested in buying a new iPhone 7. THEN I told him that I had dropped my phone into water and I have protection. He stopped me and advised me to use my insurance and create a claim so that the insurance can send me a new phone all I had to do was pay a deductible. I thought WOW this guy is really trying to help me save money!! Long story short he helped me with the claim (which the other location couldn't...they told me I had to wait) and then he helped me decide with the iPhone 7 Plus, which color and cases! don't bother calling their store! i placed an order online for store pickup (carson, ca). received my order confirmation email and was told i would receive another email once my phone was ready for pickup. after 24hrs i check my order status. still shows "ready for processing". tried calling the store as suggested on my initial email but no answer. was at work on my headset so i stayed on the phone for a whole hour trying to get ahold of someone at the store. not once did anyone pick up. called ATT customer service for an update and was told everything is completed on their end. said it usually takes 24-48hrs before my phone is available for pickup. 48hrs comes. I check my email. still no email from ATT. checked my order status. still showing "ready for processing". at this point, i'm beyond frustrated as i seem to be getting nowhere with my order status! i call ATT customer service again for an update. was told this time that i would need to call their order processing dept as the order was processed/completed on their end and there was nothing further i could do. called ATT order processing dept and was told there was nothing they could do on their end as the order was processed therefore it is up to the store to fulfill/process my order. was advised to call the store directly. again, at work calling ATT Carson store 310-225-3028. again, it's now been an hour and NO ONE HAS ANSWERED THE PHONE! my line of business is customer service and there is no way in hell this would EVER happen. totally unacceptable & unprofessional! if i'm having a hard time getting someone on the line, i can only imagine how it would be if/when i show up to the store! ***UPDATE: STILL NO ANSWER!!*** read more

Joji was a God sent. My phone was not charging and i came in to the store all upset. Joji came out greeting me with a smile and concern for me. He ask me what was going on eith my phone, politely ask for my phone and said oh i see whats going on. He then showed me that I had too many things running he asked me could he delete some of the apps that I wasn't using went over a chat with me and show me how to use my phone all over again. Some of the things on my phone I didn't even realize I had and mind you I had this phone for about a year-and-a-half he made my whole life easier show me how to download business cards how to save my contacts on Google he was awesome. This was the best 4hrs I have spent ANYWHERE! I came in to port my # to my bf's plan, but was unsuccessful @ other AT&T stores because of our different area codes. The lead tech (Sergio) went above and beyond to help us. He made tons of suggestions to us to see which ones would work best. Once we found a viable solution, he started the process. While helping us, he always acknowledged new customers when they came into the store to let them know that someone will be with them shortly. He ran into some problems with are setup; however, he reassured us that everything was going to be resolved and fixed the problems as fast as they arose. Finally, when everything was said and done, my # got ported, my bf's plan got upgraded and stayed at the same monthly price, and we found an AT&T store we can turn to if any other problems pop up. read more

Omg same with me (in reference to below)-- Joji I came in so frustrated, and I wasn't able to sync my phone after backing up my cell phone. I was just about in tears (ok I was). I was on a huge time crunch, and he sat down with me for 45 minutes even with Apple on the other end. He was so mindful, kind, and trusting. He definitely needs to be high up there on the chain to teach AT&T about training and services provided. I've been with AT&T for years, and he is by far the best service provider I've ever encountered!!! Then, when I left he was so kind, wouldn't let me leave without a huge smile and hug, and then he genuinely gave me his contact info if there were any other problems-he's the best!!! :) read more

Walked in and no one came up to me to put on a waiting list waited for a 5 minutes and finally went up to the 1st rep and asked her to put me on the list. Lady comes in and what do you know? Someone went up to her and added her on the list and Im still not on the waiting list. I finally told the rep that checked in that girl that I was here before them and if they can add me on. All the reps have lots of people waiting . I'm #4 on the list and that's been a half and hour ago . They need to manage their time better with their customers or they will be loosing customers to Tmobile or Verizon! Top it off 3 reps went to lunch and now there down to 2 reps with 12 people waiting on the list SMH read more

I normally am not a fan of leaving reviews whatsoever, but I feel the need to HAVE to leave a review. Jesse, or Jesenia, is honestly the best person when it comes to customer service overall. My family is very traditional and my parents are not tech-experts, so whenever we had a question regarding our bills or data plans we always ask for her. We currently had a concern with our u-verse and direct tv bills so we called her, and she took care of everything. This was the worse experience that I have had with being an at&t customer came in at 7pm was acknowledged until 40 minutes after being here and that was only to say that someone would be right with me. It's now 8:15 and clearance the sales man who had walked out of the back the multiple times and never said anything decided that he would help me now even though he was about to be out and go home.. it was the worse customer service experience that I have ever had. I am writing this review regarding an APPOINTMENT made yesterday afternoon. I have to say, I've waited less walking in vs. making the appointment. First off, the appointment was made in the morning online. Since we've experienced a long wait time before, we assumed it would be a good idea to set the appointment to avoid all that. We arrive right on time and of course, they're busy. Everyone there was being attended to so at least we knew we were next. A couple minutes later a gentleman approaches us and we let him know our name and that we have set an appointment. He "checks" us in. We're sitting there waiting and people just start piling up. Again, I'm not worrying because duh. We made an appointment and we've been checked in. 30 minutes later, they are ALL still busy. I see a few employees on break and one walking out. From a management standpoint, I don't understand why they would let people leave when they were clearly backed up. I looked up and saw the queue on the TV and there was 4 more people after me.... But that's besides the point. I see a couple that walked in and within 5 minutes they were helped. Waiiiiit a minute. So the appointments don't even matter? It's due to the nature of what you're coming in for? At this point, no one has even apologized for the wait or acknowledged us for sitting there for 45 minutes. Finally, the gentleman who checks us in says "You guys are next alright?" I respond quickly with "Are you sure? We've been next for about an hour now. I really wanna know if it's beneficial to even make an appointment because this is how long it would normally take for a walk in." He says yes, but obvi complete BS. Few minutes later, a lady comes up and is asking for our name at this point I think, finally we're getting help. NOPE. She tells us "OOOH, im just checking you in. I'm headed out to lunch and we're just seeing what everyone is coming in for! From there we figure out who to help." 1)The communication in the store is terrible. Your teammate checked us in from the beginning and checked on us literally a few minutes ago. What is going on with this store? 2)I clearly don't want to hear that you're headed for lunch when this store is jam-packed. I thought it was rude that she mentioned it because are you asking me to feel sorry for you? 3)I understand that they want to help people who just want to make "quick" purchases, but the guy who bought a bluetooth took give or take 20 minutes and we bought a new phone in 11 minutes. So hmm.. instead of assuming, maybe check in your customers by who got in there first. An hour and some minutes later, we finally get helped. Guess what? Our whole transaction took 11 minutes. Which is why I am so upset. They knew our appointment was to upgrade our phone and they ASSUMED we would take forever and a day for this. What they should do is follow who made an appointment then go by walk-ins. I could understand Unfortunately, this is the closest AT&T store to us... so I guess we have to deal with it. Well actually, my boyfriend can go alone. No way will I step foot there. The 2 stars are for how quickly we were able to get the phone, but part of that was because we were ready as well. I hope they work on this appointment thing because no one wants to wait an hour... especially if they made an appointment and can see their name on the TV queue. Good luck everyone. read more

First, parking can be tight...especially in front of the store. There is another lot in the back, but idiots like to double park. Other than that the store itself is fine. I usually head here to use the kiosk (there are two of them) to pay my cell bill. I can't comment on other services such as phone activation yet...at least until I get my new iPhone 6 later on. read more

It may have just been today but overall, this site proved to not have great customer service as a team. When I walked in, it wasn't until I saw that other customers were asking to sign in that I realized that I needed to sign in onto the waitlist as well. While waiting (over an hour) there were no updates given about how much longer folks needed to wait (there were 8 people waiting) and no one even stopped by to check in with folks while they were waiting so patiently. And to make it worse, there were other reps present in the back of the office I guess, but only 2 were on the floor. Helloooooo AT&T, you see how packed your place is. Be good hosts! read more

First off they took 5 days to help me switch over from another carrier, making a customer come back everyday for a week is very unprofessional & second they screwed me over. The $650 switch over for each line is bullshit, they screw you over. Be careful if you are switching over from a different carrier. My mother is 70 years old and the customer service was downright unacceptable. The lady was lucky I didn't hurt her. If you don't want to help somebody or you don't want to deal with elderly people then get someone else. But to act frustrated with her questions or concerns was just rude. Doesn't seem like potential customers that call in are a priority. Instead I will take her to Manhattan Beach where they picked up the first time I called and let me know they have what we want in stock.
