I would have said I was pleased with the experience, however, I just checked my bill and the rep (according to my receipt, Nicholas W.) added both Protect Advantage and Next Up Anytime to my account (a total of like an additional $30/month in fees)...both of which I explicitly declined when asked if I wanted to add them, in addition to telling him several times that I did not want to change my service/features at all, just simply get a new phone. Thankfully I checked my bill and noticed, and after spending 1/2 an hour dealing with AT&T, both options have been removed and I'm getting a credit. Be careful. read more

I went into this store to have my number changed. The Rep essentially lied and added a new number instead of changing it. Moreover, the rep added protect advantage to both lines which increased my bill $275. I actually use to work for AT& T and am well aware, they have to do this to keep their numbers up for corporate, but you won't get away with this! read more

We walked into this store last night to switch our phones from sprint to AT&T and didn't realize that it would take almost 30 minutes past closing time (9:30) before we finished up. Our sales associate was Enrique and I can't say enough about how good of an experience we had with him. He was very easy to talk to, not rushing us at all, and extremely knowledgeable being able to answer on the spot every specific question that we could throw at him. He also made sure we were taking advantage of any discounts available as well as explaining our options for different promotions. I was unsure about AT&T especially after finishing with a negative experience at sprint, but I'm already feeling very happy doing business here thanks to Enrique. I really hope he's compensated for being the asset that he is. I have been a customer of AT&T since they were AT&T the first time. I have maintained insurance with each phone. As a result of my report to BBB someone from AT&T Mobility called me the day after Thanksgiving to share "once customer leaves store" they are not responsible for the equipment purchased. "That is why we suggest you purchase insurance." So, exactly why do I need to purchase protective equipment if I will still need to pay a deductible and utilize my insurance (rhetorical). I normally buy an OtterBox, but was told to purchase Bodyguardz and Zagg product. I was extremely surprised when the ZAGG screen protector shattered. And, even more baffled to find my less than 2 month old phone (purchased 10/9) had a small fracture across the bottom of screen. As soon as I became aware of broken Note8 I texted AT&T rep. I was directed to call the accessory provider. Each company threw the concern to the next. Zagg sent a new screen protector to "protect" the cracked screen. And, informed me they did not provide warranty on other providers products (i.e. cell their protect was purchased to protect). I feel the level of hustling to have me purchase accessories that "guarantee" the phone screen will not crack was shameless. Unfortunately most people don't read reviews until there is an "issue". But just in case, I wanted to memorialize how AT&T Mobility treats their customers. And, to suggest people research all the other things (read the small print and what the warranty/guarantee actually covers) they're trying to sell you, which will allegedly protect your phone, since you will have to use your insurance anyway. read more

Don't ever go to this store. Someone else here said they'd give 0 stars if they could and I couldn't agree more. I can't even begin to explain how horrible our experience has been. It's been issue after issue -- 12 consecutive hours in the store and on the phone trying to get the mess the store representatives created sorted out. We had to report the store representatives for giving us false information and charging us over hundreds in fees that didn't apply to us. I'm hoping they're held accountable. We were finally able to connect with two great phone reps who are handling the situation. read more

Running errands in the mall today and decided to drop in here to ask a few questions about adding a phone to my plan. Staff was exceptionally helpful, no pressure, answered my questions and no attempts at upsell for services. They listened to my questions, and provided me the information I needed including options to save money by pointing out services I didn't need. They even reviewed my current usage patterns to make sure I was getting the best value I could. I wanted to exchange my Galaxy S8 that I had for 4 days because it kept randomly turning off. When I got to the store I was told (by a very rude employee) that he could run some test on my phone. After doing so I was told that my phone was fine. He then said he could exchange my phone but there would be a 45$ restocking fee. A 750$ phone that's randomly turning off within the first few days, and they want to charge a restocking free! Unacceptable. read more

Such a negative experience!! i switched over lines from T-mobile, and told the sales representatives there that there will be three lines switched in California, repeatedly. they acknowledged this, but for some reason can't get through their thick heads to actually process it. My mom had to wait in the California store for more than an hour because the people in this store didn't process adding the additional lines. they also didn't upgrade our services to 20Gigs like we asked even though they said it's done. they messed up our address in the system, and when Dish Network was suppose to come set up, they went to a location in San Diego. Such incompetence just scares me. If you care about your business, train your employees to do what they are suppose to do. read more

Ditto on other reviewers experience of EXCELLENT customer service. I brought my phone in with battery issues and they were like "Oh, we can order you a replacement battery." And they put in my order right there (no cost because my phone is less than 2 years old). I also mentioned my charger cord was broken and they gave me a new one! I had a great experience at this AT&T store. My iPhone died while I was driving to DC right before a New Year's trip. I called the store (right before closing time!) and told them I was headed to DC and would be leaving for a trip the next day and trying to get a replacement phone. I wrote this review for AT&T store at Pentagon Mall in summer 2016, but I see that it was not posted here. I went to this store at 9:25pm which is right before they were supposed to close. But Ms. Hawla and store Manager Ms.Seline were nice enough to take care of me even they were closing in 5 minutes. Long story short, I had some complicated issue with my previous service provider T-Mobile. I was switching my service from T-Mobile to AT&T and the process was not the short and easy as I was expecting. So these two ladies stayed for another hour just to help me, and I really appreciated they did not ask me to come back next day when the store will open! I am sure that they knew that process is going to take long, yet they were taking care of my problem with a smile. I felt bad, but I desperately needed to have my phone service back as soon as possible. I left the store exactly at 10:30pm, one hour after they supposed to close. I had to come back to the store in two days, and this time there was Mr. Nick (or Micky), who was nice too. Overall, I had an excellent customer service experience and these guys went extra miles to help me. P.S. I might misspelled the names, but you guys are the best! read more

Went into store today to buy an iPhone 8 Plus. I didn't see any on display, so I queried an employee. He said they don't put them out because they keep getting stolen. Fair enough -- maybe. But he made no offer to show one to me and he obviously wasn't going to budge from his chair (he wasn't otherwise occupied). Given his attitude, I decided not to insist he bring me one. I was planning not only to buy one but get help in transferring my data from my old phone to the new one, and I didn't trust this guy to spend one second with me once the purchase was made. read more

Customer service is horrible. Ordered the new iPhone X from them. At their insistence we had the phone delivered to their location. Phone was delivered & signed for on a Friday. No one called to inform us. We checked online through AT&T customer service to find out they had the phone. Went to the store to pick it up and they informed us that they did not have the phone, but they would do whatever they needed to correct the issue. We asked them to cancel our order and refund the deposit. Said they couldn't until the following Monday. Week later, they still did not cancelled the order and did not reported the phone stolen (their words) to AT&T. Walked to the Apple store in the same mall and bought the new iPhone X. Apple could not activate the phone because AT&T was still showing a pending order. Took the new phone back to AT&T and they could not activate it. Said their WiFi was too slow. Took it back to Apple because now AT&T has canceled the order (but only after we had AT&T customer service call the AT&T store and make them). Apple activated the phone. For some reason this AT&T store did not want to cancel our order, locate the missing phone or activate our new phone. Would not recommend this store for anything. We worked through the Sales Manager from start to finish. Should be no excuses! read more

The store manager Wes, who provided assistance to me with the issue I had involving this store, has decided to stop responding to me and helping me less than two months later without resolution. Absolutely unprofessional and inconsiderate. I have yet to receive the credit I was promised from this store when I purchased from here in August 2016. I was a 16+ year customer with Verizon and decided to switch to AT&T, but since I've been dealing with my ongoing issue since September 2016 with no resolution (it's now March 2017), I'm pretty sure I'm going back to Verizon when I can. I have spent hours upon hours trying to resolve my issue with AT&T, yet no one has actually acted as if my business is even appreciated. Plus their policy regarding discounts, especially as it relates to military families, is total BS. Buyer beware!!!! read more

Meanwhile there are never more than 3 people in the place yet the wait is always over half an hour. This place truly sucks. Find another ATT store. Amazing experience. Stood in line for about 50 minutes for the iPhone 6 (Sunday after the release). Not only did the staff ensure we went in the store in order of arrival (I hate people who cut in line!!!), he also went in and got us granola bars since it was early in the morning. I am nine months pregnant and made a special trip to the AT&T store to upgrade my iPhone prior to my baby's arrival. I was astounded by my experience when I got there. I was there for 10 minutes and none of the employees even made eye contact with me. The store was not at all crowded...there were maybe 3 other people there. There was no clear system to sign-in for assistance, and no one even acknowledged my presence even though I'm pretty hard to miss at this point in my pregnancy. When I approached the desk to talk to the employee who was stationed there, he was on the phone talking to a friend about getting table service at a club this weekend and didn't even look at me before finally ending his call and walking directly into the back. That was it for me. I left and went to the Apple Store where they immediately offered me a chair and helped me get my new phone. read more
