*100% real experience* Dropped off my HDD on Monday, May 3. Wanted to have it checked out and made it VERY CLEAR to contact me before proceeding to repair/salvage data to another device. James told me the diagnosis will be ready on the same day. One week in, no phone calls whatsoever. Called the shop on Thursday for updates. Was told that they're still working on it and should be ready by weekend. Still no responses as of today, Tuesday May 11. I got "impatient" and went to the store, only to find out that my HDD has been backed up to their system and they claimed it unfixable. Asked for reassembling and they told me "the process is on and NOT REVERSIBLE". It was only when I complained about this issue of action that they had to agree on reassembling my HDD and "will be ready by tomorrow". Currently I am sitting here, writing a review, and waiting for this miracle to happen tomorrow. VEER AWAY from a store like this if you care about your data. read more

My phone broke a year ago after the cell phone retail store put gorilla glue (yeah I said gorilla glue) in my charging port. I took the phone to apple and they told me there was nothing I could do and there was a way to restore the data but it would be thousands of dollars. So I went ahead and replaced the phone. One of my dearest friends recently passed away and the only pictures I had of him were on phone from when I last visited. We all got phones, tablets and laptops these days. It can be an overwhelming experience when one of them inevitably craps out on you. I was having trouble with my gaming laptop, so I was referred to this place by a friend who had recently purchased a refurbished iPad there. I took my friend up on her advice and have zero regrets. Any anxiety I had over getting my expensive laptop fixed was quickly put to ease upon entering their store. I was also satisfied with how they've acclimated their business to the ongoing pandemic. Everyone was wearing a mask, there was hand sanitizer for customers and they were only letting in one customer at a time. Apparently it's best to make an appointment right now because of how busy they've been, but I lucked out and only had to wait 5 or so minutes before being let in. I spoke to the owner, James. He's a young fella, but very accommodating and knowledgeable. I had recently experienced bad service on an issue with my tablet from some know-it-all techy who made you feel dumb for asking questions, so this was a breath of fresh air. James had me power my laptop on, then did a quick diagnosis of what the potential problem was and quoted me a very fair price to get it fixed. I got a little chatty and got to talking about my iPhone's battery acting funky, so James took a look at my phone's battery health and offered to replace the battery. The price was right, so I said why the hell not! Both my iPhone 8 and laptop are working like a charm right now. I will be back with whatever iGadget/Computer need I have going forward. James also showed me this cool laser etching thing they had that can etch custom designs onto the back of your phone. DONT COME HERE. If I could put 0 stars I would. This is probably the worst store I've been to for phone repairs. Not only are they rip offs, they don't have a set price so depending on what they think you'll pay they will jack prices up. I went in for multiple phone repairs and even laptop repairs. I was told one price but after they fixed it they would make me pay over 300 to get my phone. Make sure you get an itemized receipt for your product repair. If not. First time having my iphone repaired outside of the Apple community and it was a great experience. Great local business that pride themselves in their work as well as extremely reasonable prices. My phone: - iPhone X Went in for: - Repair my broken Face ID - Get a new battery Face ID issue couldn't be fixed. No fault of their own, Apple doesn't allow the sensor to be swapped for security reasons so nothing could be done anyways it turns out... BUT, they were fantastic and wound up only charging a $20 diagnostic fee since they didn't repair it. Worth it! Battery replacement was quick and easy! Apples manufacturer battery size is 2716mAh and they swapped this with a 3000mAh battery. After a day of use, haven't charged and it's still over 90%... Bigger battery seems to be working better than the factory Apple one. Battery replacement was only $55. Overall, I was very happy with my experience. They were quick, cost effective and very knowledgable. Even included a warranty on the battery if anything were to go wrong with it. I have an ancient (by tech standards) Dell laptop and figured, as everything ran slower and slower and then I lost access to the internet, I would be hearing something like, "Well, we will do our best, but...". I was quoted a price of around $90 and left it with the folks at Wireless Rxx. When I picked it up, not only was the internet back (thanks to uninstalling and reinstalling all programs), but it ran 10 times faster. They went above and beyond, including replacing the hard drive and installing better anti-virus software. And the price? It was only $129 for an essentially new computer! Found Wireless RXX through an ad on Craig's List when my older iPhone started acting up over the weekend. Drove there, hoping that they could look at it today. I was greeted by an employee named Farris when I arrived. I explained my problem and he asked a few questions, particularly about whether I had accepted any Apple upgrades lately (no). He told me he would run a diagnostic and call my landline in about 30 minutes. I confess that I was a bit worried that this was going to be like taking your car in for a simple repair and walking out with an estimate for 5 other things that they "found" during their diagnostic. I went home and as promised, Farris called me within about 30 minutes to say that it was only the battery and that I could pick it up any time before 7 PM. When I went back to get my phone, it worked as promised, had been partially charged, and the slight bulge in the screen that I know from past experience is a characteristic symptom of a failing battery was gone. The cost was quite reasonable and in line with other ads that listed battery replacement prices. I chatted for several minutes with Farris, two other employees, and another customer, about battery life in newer phones, etc. Much to my dismay, I learned that few if any manufacturers still make any models with removable batteries that you can service yourself. No one tried to sell me anything, nor did they talk down to me just because I am old enough to have grown up using dial telephones. Overall, it was a great repair experience, and well worth the cost. I heartily recommend Wireless RXX and if I need anything more for my phone, I will go there first. read more

I came in to fix my phone screen on my iphone 7 Plus on May 18th 2022. I wanted to support a local business so I decided to come to this location and repair my phone. It came out to about $83 with tax. The screen itself was absolute crap and would press buttons while in my pocket. Thats fine since i didnt pay for genuine parts I can live with that. THe owner sold me on a "life time warranty" Which is great! However, I came into the store on 6/5/22 because the bottom half of my screen didnt work anymore. I didnt drop my phone or drop anything on it. If my screen isn't pressing buttons it should be covered under the warranty. The guy takes off my screen protector that was given to me FROM THIS STORE, and he identified a small hairline fracture on the very bottom right of the phone, and was from within the screen, not outside of the screen. I was clearly given a defective phone screen, even his employee said it wasn't from dropping it! My only thought is wearing slightly tighter pants, and if tight pants causes a phone screen to stop working and crack from within, then its clearly a defective and/or cheap product. I have replaced my screen a few times and dropped my phone SO many times and I never had an issue with the screen functioning. You are much better off going to Ubreak or a kiosk at your local mall because clearly this owner is a SCAM! THe owner stated "i can help you but i dont work for free". He then offered to fix it for me for full price and was going to "send the screen back to the manufacturer". Im sorry but that is not the proper solution. THere was even an elderly lady in the store claiming the computer that they fixed doesn't work again. It became clear to me that this guy is tight on money and is running any scheme he can. I dont know what kind of business you are running but It sure won't survive if this is how you treat your customers. DO NOT FIX YOUR DEVICES AT THIS STORE! read more

I visited a nearby T-Mobile store near Wireless Rxx on 5/11/20. My cell phone would not power on however the green indicator charged light was visible. I went to T-Mobile as I am a 10+ yrs T-Mobile customer, as I entered the T-Mobile store I was not greeted by the two employees. I approached the counter and asked if I could get assistance with removing the battery in order to reset the software. The employee responded "no we don't do that, you'll need to buy a new phone." She never offered to give me options, explain the differences between iphones & Samsung, features.. etc. ZERO assistance. I asked a final question if I purchased a new Samsung S10, would she transfer my pictures, documents, etc? The employee responded "No, we don't do that, I'll give you a sheet of paper with instructions on how to transfer your data." Well that was the final NO for me. I walked out pissed... On my way home I came across Wireless Rxx, I walked in asked the gentlemen behind the counter if he could assist me with removing my cell phone battery in order to reset my phone. Without hesitation he grabbed my phone, conducted a series of on/off/home key diagnostics and boom my phone powered on!! less than 5 minutes of his time! I offered to pay the posted $39.00 diagnostic fee, he declined to accept my payment- Loved the service, I'll return in the near future to purchase a used iPhone for my 9 year old daughter. A friend told me about this place, and I'm glad I checked it out. I was attended very quickly and it was clear from the onset that these guys know what they're doing. My voice calls were malfunctioning, caller couldn't hear me, and they were able to explain the different things that might have caused it, and after running diagnostics proceeded to test each potential solution until they found one that worked. They were able to fix the issue and my cracked screen, and best of all charged affordable prices and were more time efficient than going to the Apple store.
