Most importantly: a killer taplist with an astounding 21 beers, one NA beer, and one seltzer. No two beers alike and all of them inventive and delicious. For me the real standout was the Politics and Religion, a DIPA with milk sugar and coconut and sabro hops. This is just a quintessential NJ brewery. My girlfriend and I have been to a lot of NJ breweries over the years, and we feel confident ranking this one high on the list. We visited on a Sunday afternoon in February and whiled away the hours watching Winter Olympics with the staff and other patrons. The only downside is parking. There are about five parking spots out front. If you're not lucky enough to grab one of them, and especially if they have a special event going on, you'll have to demolition derby your way into a parking space amongst the maze of narrow streets that surround the brewery. This place just passed their 7th anniversary and will undoubtedly be around for many years to come. We live far away but can't wait to come back someday.

When trying to go inside it seemed there was a large group at the end of the bar which in turn was blocking the entrance. And they didn't seem to move when the door was opened. When ordering my boyfriend ordered their oh the pain DIPA and he really liked it. I struggled to find something as they didn't have any sours on tap. So I went with the Sanguine which was supposed to be their blood orange wheat beer. It was drinkable but definitely not something I'd get again. Was definitely surprised when I asked if they had anything non alcoholic and the bartender said no. Glad we were able to try this brewery but probably would not come back.

The Ube beer was INCREDIBLE! It almost tasted exactly like an Ube milk tea, thick and rich, just how I like my smoothie beers. As you might guess from the picture, this will stain you purple! Also tried the matcha beer, then had a flight of their more popular brews. The flight was great to taste more of their selection as they had so many yummy ones! I truly enjoyed my experience here. tons of outdoor seating, foosball, TVs for game days, and a food truck that's always parked outside. Decent amount of parking and if the lot fills up, there's street parking around. Super friendly service as well. I personally love when breweries get creative and have fun with their flavors, and the selection at Bolero was super diverse, there's literally something for everyone here. I saw they also have events often, including larger concert/block parties with live music. I can't wait to come back on a concert night, I know it would rock! We ordered a flight and ordered the Ube sour and did not expect it to taste the way it did at all. It's a sweet creamy drink. The Brazilian lager was a good laid back drink too. We bought a hard orange seltzer pack and the ube pack to go. Note that the ube 4 pack is a 2 can ube and 2 can matcha. I was told the matcha tastes just like the ube so maybe it's creamy too? The building itself has a great lay out and a is the perfect spot to meet someone for happy hour. It's a good spot to spend a lazy Sunday. One of the best perks about the place is that Rutts Hutt is across the streeet for when you get hungry. Ghost Hawk also throws great outdoor events with food trucks and local vendors selling their products. If your lucky you might catch a local hardcore show one night.
