We had a vision, and Mike brought it to life!…read more We've tackled our fair share of remodel projects over the years, but nothing quite prepared us for the leap into a complete, ground-up ADU build. We knew this wasn't a project to hand off to just anyone, we needed a true expert, someone who could steer us through every twist and turn with confidence. That's exactly what we found in Mike. From our very first meeting, Mike had a calm, reassuring presence that told us we were in good hands. He listened closely to our vision, asked the right questions, and laid out a clear path forward that immediately put our minds at ease. And trust us, our minds needed easing, we came to him with a steady stream of nervous, sometimes repetitive questions, and he never once made us feel like a burden. He answered every single one with patience, warmth, and genuine reassurance. Communication was a true highlight of working with Mike. He kept us updated at every stage, so we always knew exactly where things stood. What could have been an incredibly stressful, all-consuming process instead felt manageable, even exciting. He also took the reins on coordinating with city inspectors throughout the entire build, handling all the back-and-forth so we didn't have to lift a finger. That alone lifted a massive weight off our shoulders. And the icing on the cake? He finished the entire project ahead of the estimated timeline, without ever cutting corners on quality or care. If you're on the fence about a big build like this, let us save you the trouble: call Mike. He turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one we're genuinely grateful for, and the final result speaks for itself. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Mike applies his experience well with smart changes to the plans that we wouldn't have thought of, and was flexible when we had questions or changes to make. Mike and all of his crews were professional, courteous, and very accommodating (we lived in the house during construction!). Overall we're very happy with Mike as a contractor and with the completed addition!

His attention to detail really stood out, and we always felt like he was on top of the project and genuinely cared about getting things done right. The crew was equally impressive. Assaf and Ron were great, and so were all their subcontractors. They are extremely experienced and had no issues completing the work and passing each inspection the first try. We went through another service to get permits, and unfortunately it was missing an entire page. Assaf and Ron worked directly with the engineer to get the page drafted, submitted to Burbank, and magically had it approved within 2 weeks, with no disruption at all to progressing the work. They completed the work within their estimated time. They also cleaned up every day. We were both able to continue working from home through the entire process. Pricing was very reasonable for the work that was done. We got about 8 quotes and theirs came right in the middle. They gave a detailed quote and there were no surprises with the payments later. Their greatest and most appreciated skill is communication. They always picked up the phone or texted/called you back within minutes. This was our first major construction project and they answered all our million questions and had the relationships with the vendors to modify items to what we were hoping for. The finished product is exactly what we wanted. You can see from the before and after pictures it all turned out beautifully. Thanks Assaf and Ron!!

That being said, Arch Dezign is the architectural firm you will want to work with and refer to loved ones, but I'll let you be the judge of that. I have personally utilized their services for remodeling our house in Hollywood, and years later for adding an outside patio. Besides rendering their services, they've educated me on design efficiency and even obtaining permits with the city. I don't know how my experience with the Building and Safety Department would really be without them :) It's good to note that they are very responsive with all their inquiries. Also that they are very honest and passionate with their work, over-delivering on set expectations. More recently, I've also referred them to family and friends for building secondary units on their residential properties - known as Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADUs for short. They have all personally thanked me afterwards for the referral, especially for such a quick turnaround. Thanks again, ARCH DEZIGN!
